These guys are very much the best
Do you like being outdoors? Do you like biking? If you answered no to either of these questions, I'm not sure we can be friends, but if you answered yes, do I have the tour company for you.
I did the Paris night bike tour many years ago and figured it was time to get back on. Bonus, as we were heading to Versailles this time around, we could find a fun way to check out the giant gardens. let me tell you, neither tour disappointed.
Starting with Versailles - it's, admittedly, not my favorite place. I didn't do the gardens last time (mistake) and found it to be room after room after room of old beds and chairs...read; boring. This time was oh so different. We had a great tour guide who made the chateau fun and alive with history. The best part for me though was riding down to the local market, picking up lunch and wine, and then the ride back into and through the gardens. It really is a beautiful space, and being able to zip around on a bike was so so cool*. Note that we did this in reverse due to weather (it was to rain in the morning), not a huge deal but yeah, figured I'd mention
Then there is the Paris night tour/wine boat. This really is one of my favorite things to do in Paris. This city is so fun to see on a bike. Not only is it beautiful, but it's exhilarating to be on the streets on a bike (kinda like riding in NYC but less scary). The tour guides are amazing and are always fun, but the joy of this tour is really just riding around and seeing the sites. Yes, you end up stopping and some of the main tourist places (the Louvre, Berthillon ice cream on Île Saint-Louis), but it's mostly just about riding around until you get on the boat. The boat is super fun too, touristy as it is. There's nothing quite like riding up and down the Seien at night and seeing the famous buildings lit up. They also supply a few bottles of wine, which makes everything even better.
TL;DR, if you're in Paris and/or hearing to Versailles, both of these tours are worth doing. The staff who run Fat Tire tours are always fun and laid back, and as such both tours are engaging and chill.

*Even if I managed to blow a tire out - thanks again to the team for fixing for me as I casually ate lunch and drank wine....and if that's not Louis the 14th level living, I'm not sure what is.
