Food Food quality / price (value) rating 10. The atmosphere is casual & laid back. Plan on waiting a little while for a table because this place is very popular with the locals, and attended extensively by visitors to the area. They only serve breakfast and brunch, and have limited hours, so check to he sure they're open. The owners, Amy and her husband are typically in house, with Amy running the front, and her husband running the kitchen. Amy's background includes a stint as a "service trainer", teaching people how to improve customer service, and she obviously lives by that mantra. I had the "Hungry Hiker", two eggs any style, bakery fresh rye, wheat, or sour-dough toast, two strips of bacon, two sausages, and two pancakes with genuine Vermont pure maple syrup. Everything was high quality, prepared and presented nicely, and very hot. The wife had the "Farmers Omelette", and it was also excellent. The service was excellent and very timely. They have a typical diner breakfast menu, but with some very, very interesting spins on your standard expectations. (See the "Specials Menu" photo.). The prices were very reasonable, but it is "cash only". Highly recommended!!!!
