The 26 Best Things to Do in Miami

"A 120-year-old majestic oak tree serves as the focal point of this funky shopping destination just north of the Design District. The Bodhi "wish tree," as it’s called, is based on a Buddhist tradition of designating a tree to be used as the object of wishes and offerings. In addition to the tree, you’ll find gardens and walkways that connect the businesses and micro-boutiques that make up the neighborhood. It's free to visit, and offers a peaceful respite from Miami's sometimes frenetic urban core." - Sara Liss, Terry Ward

Um this was the most epic hidden gem spot ever. Like just incredible. You could spend an entire day here between coffee & matcha and lunch and bars. Overall stunning experience. Can’t wait to go back and try all the restaurants, sit in the peaceful oasis and mingle around the different bars in the evenings or on weekends!

The name "retail sanctuary" fits! This is a relaxing zen-like small intimate mall of boutique shops and has cool restaurants and beverage stores. It's unlike anything I've experienced. As a wedding and event DJ in Miami I was here to visit nearby Miami DJ Academy (since I'm always tryna step up my game lol 😆), and came here after a Google search for coffee near me brought me here. So glad I found it! This was voted Miami's best mall by the hip Miami New Times, and with good reason. Be sure to visit and relax here in the heart of Miami's Design District!

Upper Bonavista is one of my favorite spots in Miami. it always gives me a bit of that Tulum vibe I love. We went back last night for sushi at Yoshi Sushi and had such a great evening. The sushi was incredibly fresh, the Monday night DJ added a fun touch, and the owners were genuinely sweet and welcoming. Highly recommend!

MUST VISIT!! Upper Buena Vista is a hidden gem that perfectly blends bohemian vibes with vibrant colors and eclectic decor. This charming oasis offers a unique atmosphere that feels both laid-back and inspiring. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Upper Buena Vista is a must-see. The variety of spots here is impressive—from a Michelin-recommended restaurant serving exquisite dishes to a delightful ice cream food truck, cozy coffee shops, and lively bars. Each corner has its own charm, making it the perfect place to explore, relax, and indulge. The outdoor spaces, filled with lush greenery and artistic touches, create a serene yet dynamic environment. I feel incredibly lucky to have Upper Buena Vista so close to me—it’s my go-to spot for a quick coffee, a leisurely meal, or just to soak in the cool, creative energy. If you’re looking for a unique Miami experience, this place should be at the top of your list.

Upper Buena Vista isn't just a place; it's an experience. Tucked away in Miami, it's a wonderfully unique, almost magical micro-neighborhood that feels like a hidden village. During my recent visit, I truly enjoyed exploring its winding pathways, discovering the boutique shops, and savoring the culinary delights. My journey began with a delightful stop at Fincas Coffee. This charming cafe is a true gem. The ambiance is incredibly inviting, with a cozy, rustic feel that makes you want to linger. I opted for a simple coffee, and it was brewed to perfection – rich, aromatic, and exactly what I needed to start my exploration. It's the kind of place where you can relax, read, or simply watch the world go by. Later, I decided to dine at Turcos Restaurant, and it was a fantastic choice. The moment you step into Turcos, you're transported. The atmosphere is vibrant yet intimate, with a decor that beautifully reflects its Turkish inspiration. The menu offers a tantalizing array of authentic dishes, and everything I tried was bursting with flavor. From the spices to the fresh ingredients, you can tell there's a real passion for Turkish cuisine here. The service was also excellent – attentive and friendly without being intrusive. What makes Upper Buena Vista so special is its overall vibe. Beyond the specific establishments, it's the carefully curated collection of independent businesses, the towering Banyan trees creating a natural canopy, and the general sense of tranquility that sets it apart. It's a place where you can easily spend an afternoon wandering, shopping for unique finds, and enjoying excellent food and drink. It offers a much-needed escape from the typical Miami hustle, providing a serene and charming environment. Whether you're looking for a great meal, a perfect coffee, or just a beautiful place to unwind and explore, Upper Buena Vista, with gems like Fincas Coffee and Turcos Restaurant, is an absolute must-visit. It truly is one of Miami's most enchanting spots.

Youtube = @thELightFilm2026, Film Theme Song Release "Just listened, there’s something really cosmic about the frequency, it feels aligned with the film’s energy. You can tell it’s more than just a theme song, it’s a vibration." EDM Fan Reviews are coming in for thELight(tm) film screenplay. From a well known French real estate developer currently working in Miami: "AMAZING! I’m speechless — this is absolutely insane! Visionary, hilarious, and somehow deeply moving. Bravo. Truly. You’re on another level." Awesome place for biz meetings. Very cool place to hang out. Great little shops and outdoor coffee shops complete with a wishing manifestation tree. Supper cool vibe. Mellow music. Very close to the Miami Design District.

This place is magical. I have been here three times and I never want to leave! I have not seen anything like it before in terms of a shopping/dining experience. Have to see it for yourself.
