Love visiting Upper Canada Mall! The washrooms are clean, and both floors are easy to get to via stairs, escalators, or elevator. The food courts are good with some halal options, and Toys “R” Us has a fun play area that my son absolutely loves. Great shopping experience overall!

This is one of the best malls in Ontario. It is one of my favorite places to go. There are not too many people there and the space is big enough to, not feel uncomfortable. Free and not rushed.

Good parking, nice selection of stores and like the food market, some very nice options. Tried the Mexican restaurant, never disappoints, good portions, and fresh food. The pizza place is also is also a good option, fresh toppings and very nice dough with no crust. The Thai kitchen its also another very nice option.

I come here almost twice a week as seniors is incredibly empowering, not so crowded, friendly people and sales person. Everything you want to buy is there at a reasonable price, very clean, bus outside parking big free come and get it. Enjoy the Aircon on summertime.

This mall sure has changed since my last visit. In all fairness, my last visit was years ago, but the store I was looking at was only found in this mall. They have certainly upgraded their food options. It was a good selection, and they still have places opening up (Italian place). The mall itself was spacious and had a few good stores located within it. It is a typical mall, so the layout is what a mall would be. It was very clean, and everyone seemed friendly in the shops.

Big, spacious and clean mall. I love the selection of stores and food. Sometimes they hold pop-up events or put up fun decor for special events, celebrating diversity.

I love buying jewelry from Micheal Hill, in Upper Canada Mall. This mall is spacious with lots of stores. Now they opened a new store called Aritzia, this has its own cafe area , which is not common with other stores. I found it interesting . I bought a silver anklet from Micheal Hill, but the color changed to brown. I took it back to the store but the lady didnt do much or did not change or polish , did nothing. I still have it, but its not polite , I shop often and i am a member too.

A good decade ago, I spent a lot of time in Newmarket and, by extension, Upper Canada Mall. I was still a mall shopper. Fast forward to today. My shopping habits are different. I like outlet malls and stores with deals. During a pandemic, I like entering and exiting stores without being in a vast indoor space. Back then, I had my usual stores. Gap. Victoria's Secret. Starbucks. Target. I probably hit Gap and Target the most. I still own a nice, long wool coat from Gap that gets a bunch of compliments when I wear it. I was so thrilled to get the price reduced by $40. That savings thrill probably started my shopping shift. I used to park by Sears. I never had a problem finding a spot there. Frankly, there is so much parking that I can't see you not finding a place to park, unless you are crazy enough to do in-person Boxing Day sales. Sears is no more. It remains an empty space. Lately, I have returned to this mall for Market & Co. I like the combination of a food hall with quality eats and drinks, and small markets to get popcorn and ramen. I dig it. Market & Co. is where Target was. Before Target, it was Zellers. I have visited a small number of places at Market & Co. I have loved each one. Patties Express. Kibo Sushi House and its market. The Alley. Amadeus Patisserie. The washrooms in this area are clean and modern, with the soap, faucet, and hand dryer next to one another. Although my old stopping areas, like Gap and Victoria's Secret, are still there, this mall has had a ton of expansion over the years. The Pop Mart Roboshop with Mindzai from Markham is cool. There's also a BitcoinRobin ATM if you're into decentralized digital currency and need some badly. I haven't walked an entire mall during this pandemic. I still don't feel comfortable doing so. However, it was nice seeing parts of Upper Canada Mall recently. It has a nice balance of stores that I still recognize and exciting additions that are cool in suburbia. (69)

I am writing to warn both customers and the owner of this company about my recent experience. I purchased a blouse for nearly $100, including tax, on Sunday. When I tried it on at home, it didn't look good on me. Today, Tuesday, I attempted to return it. The blouse was unworn, and all tags were attached except for the price tag, which I had but couldn't reattach. Despite this, the cashier refused to process a return, even for store credit. When I asked for the manager, a very rude person named Fic came over and insisted I exchange it for something else. I mentioned that I needed to pick up my son and didn't have time to shop, but she kept pushing me to make an exchange, stating that any new purchase would be a final sale. Her behavior was incredibly rude and pushy, making an already frustrating situation worse. Managers like her will ruin the brand's reputation. Additionally, while my daughter and I reluctantly looked for something to exchange, we felt harassed by 2-3 employees or security personnel constantly watching us, making us feel like potential thieves. This was my first bad experience with this company, and I will never return to this location. I hope this review helps other customers avoid such disrespectful treatment. It would have been so easy for them to provide store credit with a smile. Instead, they chose to handle the situation poorly, making me feel unwelcome and disrespected.

Decent sized mall. Good location with parking. Some big vacancies unfortunately (sears.. I think target). Bass Pro is great and so is H&M. Worst BAY I've ever been into.

Upper Canadá Mall has mixture of stores from low to mid price range . It also has the the only Apple Store on the area . The market has good restaurants to eat . I am happy to see winners inside the mall .

Popular stores are always being added into the mall. Since covid happened I am finding a lot of the stores don't even have a lot of what's available and you have to order off the website anyways. That's the downfall right now. It takes me 40 min to get to this particular mall so when I come to buy something and they don't have it available 95% off the time it is upsetting because I am taking time out of my day and gas, wear and tear on the vehicle to pick it up that day. I would recommend if you know what you want call ahead so your time is not wasted

There's been a lot of renovations happening these past few years. They've been a real plus. The mall is anchored by the bay, sears, and toy r us. Location: In glorious newmarket Getting there: You can drive or its located across the street from the go bus station/ yrt bus depot. Even better? There are buses the drop you almost at the door. Parking situation: Tonnes of it. You may have to walk three minutes but it's still there. It's nuts at Xmas though. Although I guess that can just be assumed. Stores: So many stores. Every year better ones come a long. Check out their Web page to see what's there now. Conclusion: Not busy week days after work so it's my mall of choice!

I never thought I would find myself loving this mall, but I actually think it's pretty awesome. They have a great new market space for awesome food, specialty items like flowers, and even a wine area. I'm not a huge fan of the Arthur's landing, but I find I'm not really keen on any of the landing locations. Their food court is also pretty decent, with a variety of options for different palettes. I do think the mall could use a few more stores, as it can feel barren in areas. However, they've got the essentials, and even had a Chronic Ink Tattoo pop-up, which I received my very first tat from, and recently number 2. It never feels busy here like Yorkdale or Scarborough Town Centre, so you have ample space to find parking.

If you live in Aurora/Newmarket area, Upper Canada Mall is the "BEST" mall for shopping/hanging out!! The new section of the Mall is really nice with tons of skylights... feel upbeat and in a good mood just to walk around there... Food court here is huge with tons and tons of seatings!! Aerie, Coach, Apple Store, Lululemon and a lot of others for your browsing pleasure...

Great mall in the heart of Newmarket. They are adding some stores and will be interesting what they do with the closed down Sears store. Love their new Market within the mall that has many different food vendors. The mall has all your shopping needs. For me the most disappointing part of mall is The Bay. It's never stocked sufficiently and could have more variety within the store. Hoping they expand mall and add some more department stores, fingers crossed.

This is a huge mall north of the city - located in Newmarket. It has a great mix of high end and low end stores...you will find everything here from Coach to Forever 21 to Sephora to Old Navy to Zara...etc..etc. I also find the selection is better here - maybe they replenish their stock more frequently? There is plenty of parking (more in the back - where the food court is). The food court is a pretty good size in comparison to the mall and has lots of seating. Great variety of fast food here. It's a pretty much one stop shop kinda mall without the headaches of the Yorkdale parking lot

I really like this mall. It's a bit of a drive from richmond hill but it has a ton of great shops (even a candy store named squish that has vegan candy). They have a large sport Chek located in the mall as well. Food court options are your typical mall food. Parking can be a disaster since this mall is generally very busy.

Always an abundance of parking here although the spots seem to be smaller asking the edges of the lot. I love the variety of stores and it's a great sized mall. It's not too tiring to walk through the whole thing and you get a nice variety off great finds. They have also got a new candy store which had some awesome candy from my childhood! Over all, a great place to go relax and just browse for great sales.

I visited on a weekday and the place was not busy at all. They have the same stores we have in the USA, so I did not make any major purchases. I walked through the Market and Co that had some interesting local small businesses under one roof. Overall, the mall did not seem busy for an evening. I did not visit the food court just stopped by Tim Hortons to grab coffee. The food court was clean. I did notice that some of the stores were closed or had huge discounts.

Weekday visit! My iPhone shattered and I needed an Apple Store next day not in 5 days. That alone tells you "how busy" they are... Which is a great thing!!! They aren't busy which others have pointed out, makes a trip here enjoyable. The "police carts" are $4 instead of $7. And they return 50 cents instead of a quarter. The food court isn't "good" as others have suggested, it might even be worse then centre point(shudders). The mall isn't busy, so ample parking, it's clean because it's empty. They have a kids/toddler play yard by toysrus, good gimmick. The diversity of the shoppers/clients is non-existent. They have a guest service on both levels and the staff were friendly. Bring back nespresso, bring Cinnabon and a pickle barrel and I'd bump it up to a 4. For now, I was left hungry, the family washroom was a joke. But I had a blast racing a stroller and a police car throughout the mall.

Its not the same! Not a lot of stores open and several closed down. Surprised that its not busy on a Sunday afternoon. Food court is undergoing renovations so only a couple are open.

A good shopping family center! A very convenient and simple to navigate mall. A great variety of different shops with everything you may need for your family. There is also a play-center for kids and a food-court with lots of snacks in the menu, nice parking lot.

Upper Canada Mall has undergone many changes and am pleased to say they have a wicket selection of stores to shop. No need to hit the City to find those specialty stores like Zara, Michael Kors, Coach, Banana Republic, Guess, Apple, to name but a few. Big box stores like The Bay, Sears and Target allow you the variety from high end designer items to every day simple day wear and electronics at a great price. Lots of parking and good selection of food in the food court. Need a java fix there is Tims and Starbucks at opposite ends of the Mall. Well laid out Mall, there is something for everyone.

Upper Canada Mall is a great mall up North. Even when busy, I feel the mall has a spacious feel to it and I don't get my "oh my god get me out of here" freak out like I do at other malls. It has your default stores with adequate anchor retailers including the Bay, Toys 'R Us, amongst the usuals. Can't wait for Target to open up soon. The best thing about this place is if you have kids, they have probably one of the best play areas for kids. It is cleaned often by the staff, and has soft toys for kids to romp around on.

I remember a time not so long ago where a much younger Kris U, had a few of his first jobs ever within the walls of this mall. Ahh yes, I recall it like it was yesterday, getting dropped off by mom and dad, working at Bootlegger (which has since been replaced by the Disney store) and then Aldo shoes (which as any guy who has worked shoes knows - is hell on earth) after awhile. In the decade since my tenure at UCM (ha ha sounds like I was a University Professor), the mall has undergone an overhaul. The once sketchy food court was modernized and expanded, making for a brightly lit space with new stores and stalls. In addition to the renovations UCM has attracted bigger names then they used to... case and point any mall with a Bootlegger is probably low-fi. Most recently you can see White House, Black Market, Bose, Banana Republic, Jack'n Jones, a two story Sport Chek, Target, Hollister, Aritzia and countless others. The reason for the 3 star, maybe it's how I view the mall knowing it's history but it's still A-OK. It meets the basic needs and shops and has a few good anchors that make it the best mall for people north of Newmarket to drive to and shop at. From my perspective, when you've got a clear 4-5 star mall like Yorkdale 20 additional minutes south it's hard to equate the two of these on a similar level. All that said, it's a good mall. It has everything you'll need for your X-mas shopping needs with the only downside being the barrage of extremely annoying teenagers crowding, walking slow, making out and being loud... oh and smelling... up the halls and stores, but if you can get past that... you're gravy. Tons of parking and the Go Bus station is across the street so getting here is never a problem!

Malls are always teenager-magnets, and Upper Canada Mall is no different. As a teen in the 90s, I spent my time roaming Zellers ("a teenager could do a lot worse, Mom!") and buying sour candy at the bulk store. It felt dark and dingy, though maybe that was just the picture my former emo teen self remembers ("everything is dark, Mom!" *plays angsty music on Walkman*). Flash forward to 2012 and I've grown up...and so has Upper Canada Mall. The new addition is bright, there is never an overwhelming number of people (this is especially impressive in the Apple Store), and the space has drawn a lot of new retailers: BCBG, Coach, Aritzia, French Connection, Banana Republic, Sephora, Forever 21, Starbucks, and an open food court. Yelp Note: fear not, there are still important remnants from the mall's past here: Kernel's popcorn.

I like to shop... Yep Hey I am female so... This is by far one of my favourite malls to shop in because, they have everything. There is a Lush store here mmmm love that. They have an awesome food court, Simon Chang clothing, Sport check, holisters, Jewellery stores, Shoe shops and plenty more. I like it because I can always find parking and it is very spacious. There is a Starbucks and a bagel/bread shop which are divine. I would shop here anyday of the week. I also like to people watch so that is always fun while taking in some gelati.

Upper Canada is my favourite mall. It doesn't take long to drive there, and was very easy to bus there despite it being my first time bussing! Although the mall is currently renovating some stores and such, the faculty is nice and clean. The main reason I love this mall is because of the variety of malls they have. Upper Canada has my favourite stores such as: Ardene, American Eagle, Hollister, Victoria Secret Pink, Aritzia, Lululemon, Forever 21, Journeys, Sportchek, H&M, and a good food court. If you go now, many food chains will be closed due to renovations but there is still a wide variety to choose from. All in all a great mall!

Upper Canada Mall has turned into a decent mall with the most recent expansion and redevelopment. It now has an Apple Store so I'm even more of a fan. This has been my local mall for 30+ years. I don't make it a career to hang at the mall, but when I shop there, I get what I need and get out.

This mall has come a very long way. When I first moved to the area, this mall was lacking. The food court has since been transformed into a nicely lit area with good choices to choose from. The stores have also gotten up to par. Serious renovations have happened in the 11+ years I've been here. Lots of parking as well. I don't bother to visit here on the weekends. Its usually too busy for my liking.

I really like this mall. It is a nice break from the overly crowded Eaton Centre. Good selection of stores. It is the only mall besides Dufferin that has a Konad booth, so that earns them major points. The Sports Check here is HUGE (but good luck getting any assistance from the employees there). They also earn points for a giant, somewhat organized Forever 21. I like their big, spacious, bright food court, and the fact that they have a Crepe stand in the mall, too. I just wish I lived closer.

I am lucky enough to have grown up with this as my local mall, but I discovered when I moved away that people from other places in the GTA travel from far and wide to come to Upper Canada. Indeed, now that I have visited many another mall, Upper Canada still stands out as a GREAT mall. The food court is huge, the ambience throughout the mall is inviting and it has pretty much any store you could want to shop at, including Apple Store and Coach in recent years.

One of my favourite malls! It has great stores and extremely family friendly. Not as busy at other malls and it's against the traffic for us.

This mall has certainly improved over the years, lots of great stores; something for everyone! Now with a Sephora, I'm there at least once a week:)

Nicely organized mall. Mostly usual chains with a fairly upscale focus among the non-anchors. A few less common or more unusual offerings. A bit too far for me for everyday. I checked it out as I am temporarily unemployed (till this Monday) and read the thread in the Talk section about Newmarket.

Having been to this mall a couple of times over the last 10 years you can see how drastically the mall has changed. The mall now has all the stores you could want and has a great food court. The washrooms are always being cleaned which is a big plus for me! Apply, Victoria Secret, forever 21, Sephora, Jack Jones, Lush and many more! It is a nice getaway from the overcrowded Eaton centre or Yorkdale. Parking can be tricky on weekends or holidays but nowhere near as crazy as Yorkdale! Upper Canada mall is really worth checking out!

Sears Watch and Jewelry repair. I've been a customer for the past couple of years now. I have recommended it to my friends. Always friendly service. The manager "Katherine" is fantastic, helpful, and friendly. I went in with a broken (I thought) watch, it turned out I was just doing it wrong, took her like 10 seconds to explain it, and she didn't even charge me!

My wife brought me here randomly and I'm happy she did. The mall has a good selection of stores, it's not too crowed other than the washrooms. The food court is decent for a mall. They have Kernels so I was happy. Not an amazing mall but it is a good one.

I'll be heading to the west cost in a few weeks so I needed some stuffs. I went to Upper Canada Mall and I was very lucky to get all I needed for the trip within my budget as they are having a lot of sales. I also decided to have a cup of coffee at the foodcourt area and I was surprise to see that they also add a free WIFI which they didn't have a while ago. I was able to get my messages without using my data. Thanks Upper Canada Mall, keep it up.

I like this food court it has a variety of EVERYTHING. Mediterranean/Greek, Chinese, Thai, A little taste of everywhere.

Pretty much the best mall ever! Great selection of stores and an awesome food court. Also have a lot of seasonal events/sales/activities put on by the mall.

Definitely the best shopping option in the area. It has all the mainstream stores you would expect, plus they have a White House Black Market shop which you don't find everywhere. Mall is clean and parking is pretty good most of the time. They also have good variety in the food court. Will keep shopping here when in the Newmarket area.

I've changed my mind, it's actually better than Yorkdale!! I don't have to drive forever to get there, parking is plentiful and convenient, the atmosphere feels safer and the stores just keep getting better and better. My favourite? White House Black Market!! I don't go to the mall that often, but when I do, it's Upper Canada Mall!

Great mall, but whatever you do, don't take your cell phone for repair to the two booths in the centre walkways, they do not guarantee their work. They repaired my iPhone, and their repair failed less than 90 days later, and they refused to fix it. $85 down the drain, I hate it when people don't stand behind their own work. Ripoff!
