Uppsala City Hostel

Nice bed, quite streets, the staff is friendly.

Really appreciate been able to check-in very late after calling equally late. I had done a similar thing in Maidstone sometime ago only to get there late and told I have not booked earlier although I have not paid. It was to be I should pay at the hostel.I was simply turned back only for them to sending me no show later. I simply ignored them.The hostel is excellent, secure, warm, clean and centrally located in Uppsala.

The city is beautiful and quiet. Great restaurants and cafes around. I felt safe walking around in the evening through the streets near the hotel. The hotel itself was clean, the room comfortable, everything I needed for one night was included. The reception staff welcomed me in a friendly and professional way although I arrived late. The hotel guests were quiet and kind. Great breakfast, rich buffet. I recommend it and if I return I would book a room at this hotel again.

I have stayed in various hostels in Scandinavia. This was the best. The rooms were so cosy and clean bed linen. Bathrooms were soo clean and fresh. Kitchen was huge with all sorts of cooking facility. Location was soo good, that everything was in walking distance. Staff was really helpfull. Each room even had lockers, study table and stool. Apt for business and study visits. Very quite atmosphere. No crowd.

Good location in the centre of uppsala. Close to lots of restaurants, cafes and bars as well as attractions such as the cathedral. The station and Bus station are less than a ten minutes walk away. The room was clean, as was the whole hostel. There was a tv in our room.

Super little family-run hostel, really can't be faulted. Right in the centre of town, handy for everything. Nice room, not huge but very well laid out and well furnished with comfortable beds, mini-fridge, proper table and chair handy for using the laptop. Well equipped kitchen/dining room with ample facilities and equipment for the number of guests. Fresh, spacious well-kept shared bathrooms. The helpful, energetic proprietors are always around to make sure everything is clean and functioning and to help with any problems.

All the basic stuff available on premises. Fast internet. Be prepared to pay for bed linen and towel if you want. Shower and toilet facilities are super. Kitchen has the basic utensils. TV room available. Reception desk very friendly and easy. The dorm Room is quite cold actually. Bed linen etc is very clean and so is the toilette.

Rooms were serviceable, slightly cramped but still tolerable. Kitchen was great, the complementary coffee in the morning is a bonus. Long check in hours allows for flexibility, and the staff were willing to hold on to luggage after check out. Location was convenient, close to Uppsala C and the shopping district.

Very clean and great location. Enough shower room and wc so never had I wait during my four nights staying. The bed linger charged.
