Uppsala Lägenhetshotell

We stayed two nights with the kids in a room with 4 beds. We bring our own baby crib for the yongest one. Room was spacious and tidy, beds were ok and the shared wc and the kitchen were functional and tidy also. ||||The walls are not very soundproof. Luckily the hotel and it´s surroundings are peaceful. Convinient place to stay when travelling by car & with the kids. Could visit again.

We stayed here while visiting our daughter on exchange at Uppsala University and found it surprisingly pleasant. The photos on the website of the studio seem to be of the room we stayed in. ||||The room was quite large and light and recently refurbished. (As in much of Sweden, a lot of the contents were Ikea branded!) The kitchen is reasonably well equipped, with a two plate cooktop (not mentioned on the website), microwave, drip coffee machine and electric jug.||||The people running the place were very pleasant and relaxed, so much so that we had to chase them up to pay (9 nights)!||||Our only quibble was that the bed was a bit narrow at 120 cm.||||We hired bikes from the hotel (cheaper than in town) but it is only about 15 minute walk to the centre of Uppsala.||||At around USD 100 a night it is excellent value. A word of warning though: the hotel name translates as "Apartment hotel". These are furnished apartments, not serviced hotel rooms so you need to make your own bed etc - just like at home!

Terrible. 0/10 would not recommend, ended up homeless after staying with them. When I arrived there I told them that I wanted to extend my 2 week booking to a month they said it was fine and to worry about paying for it at a later date. When I tried to pay later they told me they booked it to someone else and had no room for me and left me without a place to stay. Aside from this booking error, the living conditions were poor. I was told I would share kitchen and washroom with 2-3 others but there was actually 6-7 which made finding time for a shower very difficult. The thin walls of the building made the other rooms doors loud enough to wake me up late at night. On the plus side the room was large and the place was clean, but please beware!

I stayed here for one month and like this place - at 1-bed appartment you have a kitchen place with all necessary equipment, comfortable bathroom and enough space for existence. The price per night, if you stay for 4 weeks and more would be more than 40% cheaper than if you stay for one week. The one thing I don't like was not very good WiFi...

It's good value but the room was so, so hot, and in the evening there is no staff to ask to what we can do. Otherwise it would have been near perfect.

It's ok let's say it's clean. Ok as long u don't need to live with some animal's that gonna steal urs food. Like what the heck dude. Bread, baked beans in cans. Hold this in room buddy

Friendly staff. Nice place. WIFI issue tho. 2.4ghz is good, but there is interference with other devices with 2.4ghz such as mouse dongle, headphone dongle. 5 ghz signal is too weak.

Good one... if you wish to cook your self! Improvement... they can provide bath towels at least once in 2..3 days instead of once week!
