Oh man! Another amazing place to eat definitely recommend it no complaints at all the food was hot and delicious I had the jalapeño burger and it was out of this world definitely coming back the place is very quiet and very relaxing.

This place has always been a hit, anytime I come here. The atmosphere was nice. People are respectful of one another, and their space. (tho super packed on Fridays, as to be expected for a bar). The food is 110% worth the wait times! I ordered one of the special items (the Caprese BLT) and the lady who took my order said it would take a lil bit of time (again, on a Friday night, so expect a small wait). The Caprese BLT was probably one of my favorite food items I've ever ordered! was well worth the wait time, overall. Definitely worth the trek up to PT for this place:)

Great neighborhood pub, with wonderful food. Aubrey our server was amazing, so polite and upbeat. She made you feel welcomed and her service was impeccable. Love this place. It will be our go to place when in Port Townsend.

Fantastic dive bar that has decent food and only serves beer and wine *but* has gallons of Underbergs standing by. Definitely a way to get away from tourists and do something more "local". Bartender is awesome. Customers are awesome. Vibe is awesome.

I was told that this pub had the best burgers in town, but when I got there I saw that they have a BLT. Can’t not order that! It was very good, straight-up BLT. Nothing fancy but just how it should be. Tasty fries too. I’ll be back. Fun atmosphere, nice enough staff.

Nice hole in the wall. Bunch of seedy folk drinking beers. Be careful who you look directly in the eyes. If this was the Wild West I bet shoot outs would happen here. Thankful for modern day society and laws banning shootouts. Burger was solid 8/10. I’d go back but with my posse. Yee haw!!!

Great old school pub!! I was there for super bowl and the lady behind the bar was truly incredible. Super busy and she handled it with a great attitude and energy.

Beer and wine only. Limited selection of tap and canned beers. Good bar food and friendly staff. Pool table, dart board and live entertainment. No nonsense, smoke out back if you like.

Went to this establishment today with my wife . We are here visiting from out of state. We were having a great day and decided to stop in for a quick beer at this bar. There were 5 other people in the place. We sat at the bar and immediately got an attitude from the bartender, Rob. The seats we were at had no back support and I have a bad back. I asked if i could change out my chair for another at the bar which had a back support. He said "I'm not rearranging for you". So we moved to another area of the bar, no problem. We waited 15 minutes for the jerk to come get our order. We asked for 2 beers. He gave them to us and then demanded payment. I said I'll pay when I'm done and he coped an unbelievable attitude. When we finished our beer I asked for the check and he said to the bar"you haven't paid!" My wife still had 1/3 a beer left. He got in my face and stared at me. I told him to get away from me. I came in for a beer with my wife. I'm 71 years old, highly educated, and don't engage in this nonsense. Rob is a jerk. Place looked nice. I'm sure with anyone else servicing it's probably a fun place. Place needs to get rid of this train wreck.

Food is good. Big variety. Service is friendly and fast. Calm ambiance. Nice music. Clean bathroom

Good place to have a beer and relax. Bar is a typical narrow set up. bar on one side, tables on the other with an area in the front and back to accommodate larger parties. Lots of locals here, many who are hard of hearing and talk very loud, but that's typical in the PT area it seems. Beer is priced reasonable and the assortment is good. They have peanuts in the shell also, which is a plus to us. Had a bad experience with the food, but that is a separate place to the bar. But it seems there are fans of the food. Best local bar in PT and while you may have to listen to conversations you don't want to hear, but have to with the loud talkers. Its a good place to enjoy and relax at.

Ahí Tuna burger is awesome! Great coordination between bar and kitchen, food comes out quickly, To-go orders stay hot til you get home!!

Fun sports pub that we went to watch some NFL playoffs games one evening. Pretty much the only bar showing the games. Burgers were cheap and came with delicious tater tots!

We are new in town and wandered in here one afternoon for lunch after visiting the farmers market. The food and bar are provided by separate, yet connected, businesses. Order and pay for food at the side door as you come in, they give you a number and bring your food out to you. Many tables for seating, but the best seats are at the bar - my personal preference. A popular spot for weekend games. We've only visited for lunch, but I'm anxious to check them out one evening, perhaps during one of their myriad events. Many local beers on-tap, and a cooler full,of cans and bottles, and a full bar for the serious folks. Every bartender we've met has added to our enjoyment of the meal. Always looking forward to the next time we go back.

This place has kind of a dive bar vibe going for it. A nice departure from the more touristy places by the water. Limited menu, especially if you don't eat burgers or fried chicken, but the grilled cheese was so good. I added pesto and would highly suggest doing so. It's huge so split it with a friend. Or, like me, go home disappointed that you can't take it with you. Anyway, good beer selection & fun people watching.

This Pub is a real GEM of a place here in Port Townsend. The service is very good, it has about ten beers on tap plus bottled choices, and regular evening entertainment. As a bonus, there is an attached cafe serving up the best damn spicy fried chicken sandwich you will ever eat! This old pub has character, is open every day, and stays open late. I try to pop in at least once or twice a week for a cold Port Townsend Stout beer and that fantastic fried chicken sandwich. This place is located up the hill from downtown on Lawrence Street west of Tyler Street. Don't miss it! Yummm...

I dig the beer selection. I dig the pub food. I dig the friendly staff. I dig the vibe. On the whole, I dig it.

Great place to watch games! Crowded so it provides a good environment but never too crowded. You can always find a place to sit or stand with a table. They have darts, table tennis, pool... great space to get together with a group of friends. Great selection of beers and three ciders. The food menu isn't too big, but they just about always have a vegetarian option and a soup.

The uptown pub is a very nice atmosphere but there bartenders are some of the worst friggin assholes ever im so upset I was in there Friday night no one checked for imusation cards at all Saturday this bitch carded me I showed my card plus she needed to see my ID im 57 years old fuck this place Robert and Jackie im sorry but ur place socks a big one I will never return

We are visiting the area from So Cal. Went to the Uptown Pub and found it a perfect pub setting. The wait staff was very friendly and professional. Beverage selection was quite good. The food however was not so good. I ordered a burger, medium rare with a side of fries. My burger came and it looked like a football and only took up 1/3 of the nice bun. It was beyond well done with the edges as black and hard as lava rock. I expressed this to my waitress and she was again, very professional. She came out and said the chef would make another one for me. I went over to get a few napkins and the chef came out to talk. She said she was very busy, knew she burnt two burgers but not mine. DA! Maybe it was a bad night for her or her first day. She was very unprofessional and very defensive. Oh, and the fries. Again lava sticks. The BLT wasn't much better. The Porter was quite good.

Worst pub ever . The atmosphere is negative . The pub is way to small to fit as many people as they do . Mostly standing room only , not a big enough bar to cater to that many people . The Bartender has been rude every time I have been there which is only a handful of times . Very disappointing. Music has been great though .

Spent a long day at the beach and stopped in for a late lunch with our dog in tow. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to us and our dog. Delicious pub food... probably the best burger I've had in a very long time! Great selection of beers and ciders too. We'll be back every time we're visiting Port Townsend.

Love the Pub and the food is limited but good. I am giving this not so good review because the menu advertises food until 8 but now, several times, when I've called I got attitude and she said not tonight.

Popped in for a quick beer and sandwich after walking through the farmers market. Food was great and the staff was very friendly.

Small, cozy and unhurried. Good choice of micro brews and full bar. The food is the usual pub fare but competently done. They only cook briefly in the afternoon but do not mind if you grab a pizza from next door and bring it in. As an added bonus they have free wifi access. They have music on the weekends and the place is deceptively large, once you walk to the back of the pub. Lots of nooks and crannies to settle down in with a beer, a book or the laptop. PT is a laidback town, and this pub epitomises that. It might look a little dark and run down from the outside but go in, you'll be welcomed and if you want to chat to locals, fine. They'll also leave you alone to enjoy your beer. Recommended!

Nice folks, great Pub food and a awesome beer selection. We are traveling and staying at a local B&B. This place made us feel right at home and not rushed at all. Thanks for a great experience

Good enough place to get a tasty beer at a reasonable price and the wait staff was great but skip the food. The burger was the size of a meatball and overcooked. When we mentioned it to the server she said another customer had the same experience and she offered to have the kitchen make another. But the cook was incredibly rude, saying there was nothing wrong - she actually admitted she had overcooked two other burgers but not ours. She refused to make another. Go for the beer.

I would give this little Port Townsend dive five stars if they served food! But no worries, the last time we were there, we had pizza delivered :) Good selection of beers and ciders, and friendly people. This is our go-to pub to watch Seahawks games on TV.

Awesome local spot where they are welcoming to visitors. Seemed like most of the patrons knew each other's names, and by the end of the night, many of them knew my name too! Impressive beer selection with a killer happy hour! Lots of TVs for sports viewing and they partner with the cafe next door for grub. Pro tip: get the cajun tots! They have a pool table and an outdoor smoking area where you can bring your drink. Overall this place has tons of character, a warm and friendly vibe, and cheap good beer. What more could a girl ask for?!

We ordered six meals as takeout August 4, 2021. It took 30 min for them to make our food. When we asked for two other sauces, the woman returned with them and berated my husband for not tipping. I had ordered and paid for the food. Just got my bill and I DID indeed tip her 15%, $13.50 on top of the six meals of $15 each for $90 just as I had thought. He ended up putting $5 cash in the tip jar too. The audacity to accost a tourist and then actually lie is ridiculous. The meals were fine, but now I know why they took 30 min to give us our food. I'd steer clear with service like this.

This pub is a great place to hang out when you get off your shift. Have a pint and order a spicy chicken sandwich and get down to some tunes. Over the summer I have enjoyed quite a few concerts and each time there are lots of people dancing and having fun.

Dropped in for a bit of refreshment and to use the bathroom and wifi. Friendly neighborhood place, very lively at 4:00 on a weekday afternoon. Felt just right.

*Really cool local type spot with decent pub grub made next door at Blue Moose, we had the "I Like bug thighs" buffalo app and it was pretty decent *All the good macro brews like Rainier bottles (dont forget the cap!) and other micros too like Ninkase, great selection *Great place for a Seahawks game, lots of flat screens and great service!

Food? What food? Okay, I get it, Port Townsend isn't exactly the place to find a large NBA following contingent, but when in town over the weekend an in law recommended this as a place to watch the finals game as it had a good beer selection, large monitors for viewing sports, and reportedly reasonably good food. I followed up her recommendation with a check here... sounded like a pretty good bet for watching the game! Entering the place, it seemed to live up to the what I was expecting. A laid back/divey bar (which is good!) and a relatively large selection of both bottled and draft beers (as well as a full bar). However one very noticeable element was missing: No hint of food to be smelled. Game was playing on both big screens, folks were (possibly the only in town) actively enjoying the game. So I sat at the bar, ordered up a cold one (great price for a premium draft, I'm thinking it may have been happy hour?) and settled in to watch the game. I was hungry... active day running around the islands doing various things and I had built up an appetite. Only one problem. I asked the bartendress for a menu and was informed there was no food. No explanation as to why (not that it would have made too much of a difference I guess), but she said I was welcome to bring something in from elsewhere. I'm a tourist, what do I know about "elsewhere"? Anyway. I finished my beer, end of first quarter and I left in attempts to find a more "full experience" establishment which, I'm sorry to say all fell flat on their face in one respect or another. Great place for flying kites, kayaking and running the dog. But apparently a challenge for finding a reasonable sports outlet.

This place is really laid back and chill. What more would you expect from a pub. food, good beer, live music, & big enough to have a place to sit, if you get there early enough. -if you plan on watching a band play & want to sit, get there before 8:30. -have a pint of Port Townsend IPA, you can thank me later. - sometimes people who don't wear deodorant Dance & it cab get a lil funky up th there... Just stand 20ft away & you will be ok.

After being disappointed with a local restaurant referred by a local while visiting Port Townsend, I was skeptical when another recommended a bar for great fried chicken. Holy Cow!!! This place serves some incredible fried chicken with sides and all for a very reasonable price. Even though I do not drink, I would still recommend the dinner. If and when I return to PT this will be on my list of first places to return.

We were so happy to stumble upon this local hangout. Delicious food, perfect atmosphere, and inexpensive enough that you can go back often. We definitely will!

Had great chicken dinner from the blue moose, but the service from the pub was a zero. Seems strange that barkeep was unwilling to take an order for drinks from my table (6 feet from the bar), was told I had to stand at the bar. I think everyone is welcome except a couple cowboys from Eastern Washington. Sounds like it works for most people, but not for me. I'll give it a couple stars cause Lucy cooked great chicken, and the lager was really cold.

Probably the worst "pub" on the peninsula. Lousy service and lousy beer.The owner argued over my change for a twenty,said it was a ten.Come on get a grip.Somebody needs to clean the piles of cigarette butts up out front.Wont go back. and Right B there is no full bar only bad beer,wine and try to get food yeah,not.

I have to give my local watering hole 5 stars! Teddy you are amazing! Best bartender out there. And, coming from a bartender - that's high praise. It's like Cheers, where everyone knows your name.. but in Port Townsend. Friendly bar, lots of locals, plenty of spots to grab a seat.

The Uptown Pub is the epitome of a casual fun pub. The service is fast and friendly. It is off the beaten path, so it is a cool place to rub elbows and meet some Port Townsend locals.

If you want cheap local beer and legit burgers, then come here. The service was friendly and quick. The kitchen is separate from the bar so you have to pay for each separately and they only take cash but they should have an ATM machine (I think). We were here on a Sunday and on Sunday's they serve half off beers ALL DAY! We had ridden our bikes from Anacortez to Port Townsend (with a ferry), and it was a very hot day. All other places were either a full patio with no AC or they were closed on a Sunday. This place was exactly what we needed. They play great music but we weren't there for the live music. If you want patio seating it is incredibly limited but if you sit by the front door you will get a nice breeze.

This is one of my favorite bars in Port Townsend. It is just as everyone else describes it, laid back, great beers for great prices, and friendly staff.

Awesome pub, decent choice of beer and reasonably prices. They have happy hour (I can't remember the time though) where you get a dollar off which is even a better deal. It's always a pleasant spot to hang out, day or evening. There is an open mic happening on Tuesday night which has been really good in the past. Also you can order a beer and sit at a table and order food from the restaurant next door and they will deliver to you in the pub, that's pretty awesome). Will certainly go there many times again.

Great chill down to earth place with a wonderful relaxed ambience. Location is perfect and the food is made with love. I walked out satisfied and a smile on my face. You won't be disappointed, go!

The Uptown Pub is the most authentic neighborhood watering hole in town. Great local beers on tap and excellent food, via the Blue Moose Uptown Grill. Atmosphere is friendly, laid-back, and cozy. Great regional music here too. I'm not sure "Dennis B." was at the same place. Perhaps an Applebee's or TGI Fridays would be a better match for him?

Great place - one of the best in Port Townsend. The owner (Cristal) is great. Good beers at good prices and a really casual atmosphere. This is the place the locals frequent - that should tell you something good.

Just moved here about a month ago and met someone who works here. I have now been starting to head up to the pup at least once a week. The people here are nice and the environment casual. Thinking of making this my regular bar in town.
