Uptown Pubhouse

Stopped in for a shot and a beer! WOW! Ryan behind the bar was excellent in finding a new scotch and did a great job in suggesting a drink for my wife! She loved the "Chocolate Pecan Spirit", extra chocolaty! She had two! Amazing selection of American/Irish Whiskey's and honestly one of the largest selections of Scotch's ever. I had the Glendronach 12 year! Loved the bit with the sweet cherry cask smoke flavor that just lived on my pallet with a consistent desire for a bit more! Food wise, we had the Rueben (wow), along with the Guinness Stew! Both were unexpected and amazingly good! Deep flavors on so many different levels. Services was great Ryan did a great job walking us through the flavors and was extremely patient on our requests. Overall, when in Flagstaff it is a must for selections of drinks! But vibe was laid back and perfect before getting deep into the night. I recommend stopping in round 430-5pm. Worth the trip. We will be back!!!

I have to admit, I’m super disappointed. My fiancé picked up a patty melt with tots and ranch to go. He was ignored for ten minutes. The burger patty was small in proportion to the bread, the cheese was not melted and the onions were burnt. On top of that the ranch was water. The only good thing was the tots, and they needed salt. And this is the second time we’ve had this problem with the food quality being pretty poor. The only good thing about this place nowadays is the whiskey. If Bo was still here, this would not stand.

We didn't have the food but my wife and I have completely enjoyed our bar keep Taylor! This place has lots of pool tables, cold beer, and lots of conversation. We had a blast! Good people good vibes!

Went here for lunch, and I had a great time. I have to say I was very surprised at how good the food was (delicious) and our waitress was attentive and very nice. We went there for lunch, so it was pretty quiet with a few people playing billiards. I love small places like this that feel comfortable, like your own little hometown place. I would recommend this for a casual lunch or a place to play pool and hang out.

Service and atmosphere are 5 star, food is decent. The side of cheese is a bit watery. Burger and Rueben were alright. We loved the tots. I hope to come back when the Irish stew is ready. Super excited about the stew. This is far more a proper pub than the other down the street.

Cold beer and great shots. 8 pool tables to play on super fun. Order the loaded fries to snack on, very good.

Came by with my family and unfortunately my sister left her ID at the pervious bar, we said we would go back to the bar we came from or just call it a night due to the time, the server said she then needed to see uber or lyft verification before leaving…? She was a short brunette woman with a septum piercing, who then proceeded to tell us we could not leave the establishment without “proof” of verification of a ride… which is not legal. Will never come back here and would advise never coming to this establishment, due to unprofessionalism and basic lack of state laws and regulations.

Where else would I be for lunch, but Uptown. Had the Dougy burger today. Hamburger patty, a nice bun bacon, and a fried egg. Kind of on a diet Maybe well I don't know about the diet part. No sides but the tots when I do get them are absolutely wonderful. Real live whiskey bar. Date night, out with the folks, or just by yourself this is a HomeTown tavern. The service is excellent with bartenders who really know a lot scott, whiskey, and bourbon.

love this place however, my bartender was very rude and did not accommodate me and my friends at all. i work in the service industry and understand how the night goes. wasn't even close to busy and made my party feel unwanted and ignored us the entire time. very unwelcoming. all we wanted to do was have a nice time and play pool. great place, get a new bartender (glasses short dark hair) would never want her as server ever again)

I love this place!!! It's become a frequent spot for me since I moved to Flagstaff, and it quickly became one of my favorites. The food is delicious, the drink selection is huge, and the bartenders are awesome! Taylor and Bri are always so friendly and so knowledgeable about the different whiskeys they have (over 240!!) and the vibes are always all around a great time. 10/10 would recommend!!

I was driving, so I can't speak to the drinks. And I don't play pool, so can't speak to the tables. The pub food here is perfectly standard and average. Grilled cheese was on fresh bread, nicely caramelized from the grill, and had appropriately gooey-melty cheese. Fries are shoestring and unexceptional but tasty. Tater tots are also standard. I wasn't especially impressed by the gravy or curry available on fries.

The food was good & the service was excellent! I was super impressed with the employee, Kelsey. She was professional & caring & offered food & drink suggestions. All of the serving staff is great! We will be back!

Use to be a solid bar. If you want bartenders being rude after youve spent $200 on bourbon, this is your spot. You will be amazed at the lack of service and appreciation. Was 10/10.. only takes one super star to be a 1/10.. enjoy comrade!!

Best Guinness I have had in the US! I have been searching as a native Irish woman (living in Tempe,AZ) who loves her pints of black. Great service, fun atmosphere. I recommend to all my friends

Beer was what it should be, very good! I ordered the fried pickles - DO NOT ORDER THE FRIED PICKLES. It was all breading and very thin pickles. The bartenders said they would take care of it since I didn't like them, they actually only took care of $3. Pic is what I sent back... a whole basket of pickles.

Food was fantastic, beers poured perfectly, whiskey was amazing, and staff is the icing on the cake. Stopped by because I got lured in with a slider (I may be a fat man, but those things are tasty and of course I'm gonna stop for one). A meal, a shot and two beers later, I walk out like a king. I don't play pool, but damn those tables are nice. Any better and I would have been given mints on the way out of the bathroom (lol). You guys keep Flagstaff "Flagstaff", and I am impressed again and again. Cheers to a great establishment with a fine team and GREAT food!

Went in to play some pool with my brother in law I went to the bar to get a drink before we played so asked them what they had on tap she just said modelo. Her whole demeanor was very rude from the moment I got there. She pretty much ignored me, so when she finally brought the beer I felt uncomfortable but I said so that's all you got on tap. She said no but I could clearly see there were other options. I then place a 100 dollar bill on the table and offered to by people next to me shots because I felt uncomfortable. I tried to order more drinks for the people around me I tried to get her attention so I raised my voice and told her she was being rude. Then another girl walked from behind the bar with the same bad demeanor as the first one. Yelled and said I'll be with you in a few minutes on a Monday if the service bad on the weekday can only imagine how bad it is on the weekend. Been to a lot bars never felt so uncomfortable in my life. My brother in law was sober even he thought the whole thing was weird and not right for them to be so rude.

This seems to be the local gathering spot as when we arrived we noticed all the pool tables (and there are many) were taken! The bar was also quite busy! Our group came in for a bite and noticed that there really isn't much table seating available. We ordered some apps, can't go wrong with anything fried- was it amazing no- but it was exactly the fatty pub fare we were after.

Came to play pool and grab a drink. Loved that they are full sized tables. Lots of places to chill if you aren't playing pool. Fast and friendly service.

Great Celtic themed bar with an expansive pool hall. Service team was engaged and friendly and the Harp and bowl of Guinness stew was delicious. It was a quiet Saturday afternoon when I was in, so busier times with the tables all going are likely loud, but if you're looking for a fun place to hang out with friends to enjoy some pool and a great bar with yummy food, Uptown Pub is your place. I'll just keep sliding in during the quiet times to enjoy a beer and solid pub fare.

Staff was so nice. Insane selection of draft beers, whiskey and scotch. I'm sure they had more than just that but this is what I enjoy to drink! Clean establishment, comfortable atmosphere. Pool tables are so clean they don't even look used. Highly recommend!! Poutine fries were delicious and fresh

My friend went up to the short stocky bartender with a beard and ordered a green tea and a lemon drop shot for us. He refused to make both and made two green teas because "she will never know the difference". I unfortunately do not drink whiskey and can certainly tell the difference as a bartender myself. So my friend went back for the lemon drop. The bartender then said "f*cking c*nts" when my friend ordered the lemon drop. Very rude, sexist, and unprofessional behavior.

Whiskey, beer and pool are the draw to this Irish pub. Good spot for hangouts and shooting pool. Friendly staff. Good music! Good variety of beers on tap and full bar. 6 pool tables. Good fun!

This is definitely a pretty relaxed and good vibes bar. I love that it gets busy and you can watch people playing pool. The drinks are good and fairly priced. I appreciate the selection and variety. The food can be mixed sometimes and can be spendy for what you're getting. Downtown Flagstaff is just usually that way cost wise. They have poutine, burgers, tots, chicken fingers, and sandwiches. Sometimes the sandwiches can be a little lacking with toppings.

Love this place! It has a laid back vibe, great food and 8 pool tables. It is in the heart of historic downtown Flagstaff and it's a great place to visit- the atmosphere feels European, warm and comfortable. We took our family there and spent two hours eating and playing pool.

terrible customer service all me and my friends did was walk inside and she looked at us weird one of the bartenders. After we for a trashcan, she basically tried to kick us out after just trying to play some pool. And then she racially profile two black and a Mexican, and we didn't even try to order any drinks and she said that she's gonna refuse a service because she doesn't know how many drinks we had absolutely atrocious! Do not recommend very singular bar really visiting from phoenix.

good food, great service, atmosphere is very good as well. the pool tables are the nicest in town and the scotch selection is also unrivaled. also everyone's nice and the music is pretty good. a good place to be a regular and a great place to bring friends :)

This place is a true gem! My family and i peaked in uptown looking for a bite, and the customers said hello and confirmed the food was great. Shortly after we realized they had an insane selection of scotch. Im not sure how we had never heard of this place. It was a really treat to get to try a couple bottles I've had on my list for a while. The food was really good, and the chef was a really cool guy. He saw our kids peaking in the kitchen and he playfully flipped some burgers to their delight. He even brought them all a pickle. The staff was super knowledgeable and friendly. Even with our 3 kids running around like crazy people. Even the customers were super chill about our 2 year olds running around the pool tables; which I know can be a little annoying. Overall this is just a 5 start place.

Easy going atmosphere right off the start, all are truly welcomed. The music was eclectic with a little bit of everything playing for everyone. The music was not to loud so you could actually have a conversation. You would think that pool tables in the middle when take up all the space but not here. There are plenty of tables to set eat and hangout. The shuffle board is where we hung out and played. It does need to have the electronic score board repaired but the board was in super shape. The food was good which sometime at a bar can be a miss. Burger on a gluten free bun that was cooked perfectly. The chicken fingers and tots hit the spot. Great for soaking up some adult beverages. The whiskey selection was nice and the made a mean Moscow Mule. The service was on point at the bar, making a great whiskey recommendation that I had never tried. Going back for sure. On a side not they have live music some nights as well.

Good beer and alcohol selection. Chill environment and open late! They have a large variety of local beer and spirits. Staff is friendly.

Bartender was not very busy but very very rude. Short girl with brown hair who for some reason acted like she was better than everyone else, which trust me she wasn't. We were a small 5 person group celebrating a birthday and she was just rude. We asked her how long she has been in town bc we were inquiring about the area and she said long enough as she walked away rudely. We work and live in the service industry and spend a lot of money wherever we go. She was the solo cause of us leaving bc of her rude comments and not caring attitude. The other bartender came over once and took great care of us, she was very nice. I own 3 restaurants/bars/breweries and I would have been very upset if I would have seen one of my staff members treating people the way she did. Really cool spot besides that one bartender.

This place was actually really good. Waiter was nice and the food was great. The place has an awesome pub vibe to it along with 6 pool tables.

Holy smokes! This place was amazing. The southwest turkey sandwich was the best sandwich my fiancé has ever had and i agree. The prices are to die for! The whiskey list is incredible! And our server (Alexa) was a delight! 10/10 recommended

Uptown Pub house is the best place to stop in and grab a bite to eat with a great drink - they specialize in scotch, bourbons and so many choices and you can even join their club to try each one they offer. I am not a drinker anymore but if it is your gig, then Uptown is the way to go. I met a guy here one night that lives somewhere else (sorry can't remember) and he purposely comes to Uptown just to keep trying new scotch his name on the wall. The food is gastric pub style and is great. Fish and chips are top notch, and the poutine is amazing!!!!!! The beer selection is vast and if you want to play pool, they have 6 tables and a shuffleboard. Ok ya, all that is a reason to come here once, the reason to keep coming back is the best bartenders and servers. JUST THE BEST!!!! They remember you if you keep coming in to say hi! They really do make you feel like you are the most important person in the bar! Love these guys and girls! If you come to anywhere in Downtown Flag, please be sure to stop here. It is a great experience. And there is outside seating!!

Great place to hang with the family! My family and I stopped here after the Tree Lighting tonight and thought it was super cute. My cousin used to hang out here, but this was the rest of our first times here. Just got drinks, no food, but were completely floored at the attitude and rudeness of the girl behind the counter. She scoffed at my mom, rudely said my dad had to wait his turn to order, rolled her eyes at my cousin... Terrible! This woman was maybe overwhelmed, but she was just really very surprising with her attitude. I am sure this is just this one server (whom we have not caught the name of yet), but my cousin has had positive experiences in the past and (other than the service) we also enjoyed the atmosphere and playing pool.

Went to play pool with my godson, so awesome that underage people are allowed. Had a fun time, good prices on drinks and good food! Seems like a fun local hangout!

Stopped in late after attending a wedding and reception party. This place has a great selection of adult beverages. The bartender was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped us select a number of nice bourbons and whiskies to consume. The place was very busy and a lot of fun. Thanks for making our Saturday even more fun. Great local place with really nice folks.

I went to this place with a friend and we had a great time shooting pool and playing shuffleboard...great selection of beers and Whiskey. Our bartender, whose name I believe was Justine, was super friendly and extremely helpful. This is definitely a fun place for anyone looking to have a good time in Flagstaff.

Saw the place online went in and was busy couldn't get a drink and the lady bartender was so rude i just left. Ask to play shuffle board no one on it. Said I'm not giving that out. I was like what! All good right down the street is a place called brews and cues. Had tables open and 2 really cool bartenders. I just can't stand rude people when your trying to enjoy your time away. Feels more like uptown rudehouse might want to change your name.

This place is very good , great presentation on the food and the people are very nice. We had such a great view as well.

Great atmosphere. Exemplary selection of whiskies reasonably priced. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great recommendations on whisky. Only come to flagstaff every few months , but this will be a regular every time. Courtney was wonderful.

Uptown is pretty bomb. This is where I find myself when I want to get away from all of the tourist hubbub. This place is perfect for meeting up with the local gang and hashing out a few pool matches while getting down on a large pitcher. I love the fact that they charge you only for the time you play the pool games and not for a full hour unless needed. The staff here is always super chill and the service is quick. I hate when I have to stare at a bartender for an eternity to catch his/her eye while I wave my cash in the air like an idiot. The bartenders seem to know what they are doing and know the right balance between talking up the patrons and getting stuff done.

Good energy and drinks. Plenty of pool tables and space. Definitely the best bar I visited in Flagstaff--check it out if you want casual, chill, fun vibes. If you're lucky, a sweet, red-headed bouncer will share ecological trivia with you.

Nice pool hall in downtown Flag. If you wanna play pool then then charge $8 per hour but if you don't play for a full hour then they only charge you for the time that you play. The pool tables are nice and they have a bar as well. Fun place to play some pool and chill.

The fish fry is AMAZING! Juicy on the inside and the batter was just right. I've never had food here before and I'm impressed. I had a bite of my friends poutine and that was also delicious. If you haven't been I would give it a try! Thanks for a yummy after work meal and a couple of month my cold snacks. We will be back!

We came in Flagstaff first time and we decided to get some playing in pool. At the downtown we found that pub and to visited it. We got a play's table and spent two pleasant hours. Couple beer and chicken wings for us. Pretty nice atmosphere, clean play's tables and friendly stuff. We have spent some a fun time and we definitely reccomend this place.

I was not very impressed by the staff. They were rude, inattentive and cold. Probably because my buddies and I weren't dressed like everyone else there. We sat at the bar for a solid ten minutes before even being acknowledged. After that, we had our one beer, order another and waited a good ten more minutes before finally getting our second beers. We just paid and left. Super disappointing and we won't be back.

Came here with some friends to enjoy a few drinks and appetizers. Food was okay but the waitress was so rude that it ruined our time there. Very disappointed in staff service.
