The atmosphere and service were very nice. Our party of 8 was accommodated well. When ordering our T-bone steak we were given a description of a much thicker steak, so for $80+ we expected higher quality and much thicker than what was delivered. Side dishes and wine were very good.

Pali was phenomenal, excellent suggestions on main and dessert. Food, service, atmosphere! All perfect! Don’t skip this when in Budapest! Just make sure to have reservations.

great restaurant though geared toward tourists; food is delicious (we had the tripe and goose breast) and very well-priced; the wine pricing, however, was a tad steep, though still quite good. downstairs Thay have a great showcase of traditional Hungarian way of life. food for two was around 30€ but somehow 4 glasses of wine and 1 sparking water amount to 55€. we

Amazing experience at Urban Betyàr, where we had dinner for 2 on a weekday quite late. The place itself looks amazing with great attention to details in decorating. Service was great from the minute we entered, with quick and effective waiters. We shared a starter and a dessert, and each had a main; all 3 courses were full of flavours and interesting textures. We had an alcoholic cocktail and a mocktail and both were incredibly good with different layers in the flavours. Even the tea at the end of the meal was great. Go downstairs to visit the museum, it's a great insight into Hungarian historical everyday life. 100% recommend!!

Came with a whole group of employees to celebrate. We had a pre defined menu which is great for a big group of people. The food was excellent, some dishes (steak) were less tasty for some, but in general very good. Also the place is designed very special.

Service was excellent. We didn’t have a reservation but they were able to accommodate 4 persons to have a late lunch. The wine they recommended was so good. It’s a Hungarian wine- will send photo. Food was very delicious. We had the beef cheeks which was so tender and tasty, steak with foie gras- amazing, goulash yummy, schnitzel- so crispy, tender and perfectly seasoned And of course the Pavlova desert which was so delicate and melted in your mouth. The bread they served was very fresh and good too. Highly recommend

Beautiful place! Friendly staff. My chicken paprikas did not have the flavor I expected. The wine was very good. Overall, it was a good experience. Clean, with its own museum.
