Good place to stay, spacious and clean rooms on the new block. Breakfast could be better! Cereals served quite old! The variety of cooked food served for breakfast needs to be kept warm at all times. On the whole, food at breakfast could be better in terms quality & freshness. Otherwise staff were friendly and pleasant to interact with!

Big rooms, still quite new furniture and recent decoration, although some rooms need to be revisited (missing curtains, rug that needs to be refreshed). The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Catering is I good quality too, although quality of breakfast could still be improved. Some rooms are noisier than others.

Good place & Ambience. I was expecting to have a good time when I came here. To my surprise, we were given the worst attention. The waiters will move fast if attending to the tourists (whites) but when it comes to the local people, it was as if we were pleading with them. Oh and then the mighty food, didn't have a choice but to eat what I had found.. I heard they have a good chef but It wasn't the case on my plate....

I highly recommend this hotel to you. It is also great for business, travel, and relaxation. It is in a very quiet and peaceful location. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. Dinner at the restaurant inside the hotel was also very good. Breakfast was well prepared and there was a wide variety of fruits and juices. I have only one request to the hotel staff, please clean the leaves in the pool. If you want to spend a quiet and relaxing night in Kampala, I think this hotel is very suitable.

It's a beautiful, elegant and cozy. Has very nice spicy food, it's quiet, great staff, hidden away from the Kampala noise. It's romantic and good to be with your loved ones. Have well equipped and sizeable conference rooms. It's a wonderful place, I would highly recommend it.

After a 4 day stay, Urban by CityBlue is definitely a favorite of mine by far! The rooms are amazing and cozy, the bathroom is clean and my room was by the pool, a very lovely experience. The whole team is very helpful and efficient. The pool is amazing and very clean. The food was delicious and my favorite is the chicken pizza. I love it's central location with everything else in the city. The security is great and has ample parking space. It is 2m away from the Roots restaurant, a restaurant that serves Ugandan cuisine at lunch and barbecue at night. 5 minutes from the Golf Club, 10 minutes from Acacia mall and 10 minutes from Garden city mall and a 3m walk from Nakasero hospital. My stay was very relaxed and quiet.

The good: Beautiful, clean facility. Caring and friendly staff. Good food. The bad: Some rooms are noisy. I recommend asking for a room away from the pool and restaurant area if you don't want to be kept up by the music and conversations. The Wi-Fi is poor. Weak signal, slow speeds, frequent disconnects. At peak times it's unuseable. Business travellers be advised.
