Beautiful space but bad experience & very overpriced, next time I will go a few metres farther to Lilith! Ordered a normal/medium sized cafe latte (koffie verkeerd) with oat and caramel. Received a small glass cup of coffee with cows milk. I’m lactose intolerant, hence the oat. After a sip I asked the server if its oat, they took the cup back because they “weren’t sure” They then came back with a different tasting drink; I know what Oatly tastes like. No apologies or acknowledgement of the mistake I was charged €5,- for this. Only after complaining they apologised, but not without mentioning that they “fixed it with a new drink” afterwards, and it was their colleagues fault I understand making a mistake. Next time own it, apologise and maybe fix it with a goodwill gesture instead of charging me €5 for a belly ache Never coming back here!

More people should know how amazing of a ketchup they make. They should be famous for it or something. And then, they most be sued for having an addictive toast -- the sweet potato & lettuce one! I would eat it every day if I could. Good food and coffee, friendly staff, and nice atmosphere:).

Had the earl grey cake and a cappuccino. The cake didn't really have any flavour other than sweet, it's overpriced for what it is. Better just go get a cake from Jumbo! And the coffee was so weak, I couldn't even taste it. It's an OK place to sit and watch the world go but it definitely isn't the best.

Very nice place with very nice people, tasty simple food, good vibes, great terrace, great for a meeting or seeing a friend. I wouldn't come here specifically for the coffee but its not bad, pastry cabinet full of options, place looks great, simple diner style, art, great toilets. Would expect more focus on coffee based on the name but overall place is good

I can totally understand and respect that the staff doesn't want you to use the laptop during weekends. However, I found the way of informing about this a bit rude and Insufficient. I would like to suggest that the staff makes a big board or poster saying "NO LAPTOPS DURING THE WEEKEND", then we can all follow the rules by knowing them beforehand. Besides that, a good spot in the middle of the town to take some sun and drink coffee!!

This cafe is just okay, but nothing more to it. The ambience is nice, and the staff is helpful. However, it’s probably just not right for me. As I kept exploring more breakfast spots, I went here for a quick breakfast bite. Firstly, I couldn’t find anything interesting on the breakfast menu to try out. I’m not a fan of uitsmijter served here, so that wasn’t an option. Nothing else caught my eye, so I asked the waiter if it was possible to make an omelette (which wasn’t on the menu!), and they kindly agreed. It was sort of okayish. I tried a piece of carrot cake with my coffee (which was good!), and it was again fine, though a bit dry, but it didn’t taste like something I would want to come back and try again. I mean, the tastiest thing in the cake was the cheese frosting which is a simple cheese cream with powdered sugar, and this is not the part you usually love your cakes for🤷🏻‍♀️

Walked into the Urban Espresso Bar on a Wednesday afternoon, and it was quite crowded. In the front were families and friends, in the back the hipsters typing furiously on their Apples. I joined them and ordered a black coffee. The friendly staff served the coffee quickly and informed me of the wifi password, which was renamed 'maximaal2uur' (maximum2hours) after people camped out in the cafe all day, Starbucks style. The coffee tasted pretty good, nothing too special if you're looking for an extraordinary experience. The place itself is nice to sit at, tables with reading material and some nice music in the background. Especially on a sunny day, the windows make sitting here a relaxing experience. All in all a nice place to work and sit at.

Nice hipster place to work and have a coffee during the week and also in the week end! In particular, during sunny days, there are huge windows and small tables outside. The staff is always friendly, smiling and easy-going! I easily spend a full afternoon here with a relaxing selection of music in background and some coffe or tea. I tried also the cheese cake and the chocolate cake: they were really good! Pay attention during lunch time, it is quite busy!
