The place has many people visiting at all times so its one of the busy places apparently. What we tried is: 1. Cappuccino with hot choc powder on top but they bymistakely put the coca powder instead. 2. Halloumi and shakshuka eggs- not as we assumed it to be. It was all with tomato flavourinf could be better but the halloumi cheese was really good in taste! Would I want to visit again ? maybe but not specifically for this cafe I would go. Service- Appreciated the staff is really helpful in suggesting anf helping :) Location- away from crowd not in city center exactly but easy to find!

Urban Grind was the perfect breakfast spot before we headed out for the day. We arrived right as they opened and watched them pull the croissants out of the oven! The location decor is really nice (it was larger than we expected!) and the menu elevated… not your simple breakfast spot. The food came quickly and all of our meals were delicious.

Warmly greated and seated with no hassle on a Thursday morning. We both had a latte and the bacon sandwich toastie special, which was really lovely but we were surprised that bacon jam meant tiny chopped up bits of bacon, not a bacon jam in addition to slices, which I've had before. Either way, it was filling and delicious, and we couldn't fault the food as the misunderstanding was ours. The side salad with the pink onions nicely complimented the toastie as well. The coffee was lovely, too, and brought out promptly. We'd definitely recommend Urban Grind to those staying in the area.

Last Sunday, Galway treated us to sunshine and a leisurely stroll through its vibrant center. On our way home, the idea of brunch popped into our minds, and Urban Grind was the winning choice. The place was buzzing with activity but, fortunately, we were seated quickly and set about ordering our meal. It has quite nice atmosphere there. To our delight, the coffee from 3fe was exceptional, paired with two beautifully crafted brunch dishes. Each dish had its own unique flair, yet both were perfectly balanced in flavor and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. One standout detail was the use of whole avocado 🥑 rather than a paste—a thoughtful touch that added a more authentic, fruity taste to the dish. The flavors brought back fond memories of Éan restaurant, whose closure still lingers in our hearts. For tea enthusiasts, you'll be pleased to know Urban Grind opts for loose-leaf tea, an unmistakable sign of their commitment to quality. The staff, though bustling around with the weekend rush, was consistently friendly and welcoming. It's safe to say Urban Grind has found a place in our hearts (and stomachs) for weekend brunches.

We had a really nice brunch here. The staff are very friendly and the menu had a good variety to cater for different preferences. The breakfast burrito and shakshuka were very tasty!

Food was delicious, arrived swiftly even though the cafe was packed. They were also flexible in allowing me to swap eggs for tofu in their Westebd Brekkie. Lots of Vegan options. Lovely place for breakfast, brunch, coffee with friends.

Yelp
This was the perfect breakfast spot! They have a back garden area to sit outside. The menu is not huge, but everything on it looked amazing. We split the French toast and it was so delicious with the coconut milk yogurt and berries and maple syrup! Would absolutely recommend this on your trip in Galway!

Yelp
A friend and I only came for a coffee, but seeing their cakes I couldn't resist their brownie and by friend got a wrap. I loved the atmosphere, the coffee and the food. And very friendly staff (in a good way!). So definitely a stop on my map now when I'm in Galway

Yelp
Best coffee joint I have come across in Galway or Ireland for that matter. areopress game is on point with a great Ethiopian as was the chorizo and poached egg breakfast sandwich. Sweet back garden that I didn't get to use that would be perfect on a sunny day. Tucked away west of the main tourist drag this place is a find

Yelp
Top class place. Really excellent coffee, great space, including a lovely outdoor area, brilliant sandwiches, and nice staff. What's not to like?

Yelp
Could easily be 5 stars but they let themselves down. While driving from Dublin to Connemara went out of my way to go here. Was delighted to see 3fe coffee and the menu sounded great. Really let down by the service though. Place wasn't busy yet barista took ages to serve me because he was chatting and served his pal who came in after I had actually ordered my coffee and was left there waiting. Very annoying

Yelp
Great coffee and salad here last fall when I was living in Ireland! Cool vibe, good coffee, & nice outdoor eating area!

Yelp
Great cup of aeropress, the best cup of coffee I have found in the short week I've spent in Ireland so far, the Ethiopia was brimming with florals and tropical fruit and the coffee shop gives off the classic third wave vibe with hipster music and all yet still had friendly people behind the counter.

Yelp
Googled "best cafe in Galway" and this place came up top.... and it was great. Very friendly service, great coffee, and really good food. The pistachio swirl Danish and the berry slice were delightful, and though I'd asked for an espresso with hot milk they took the initiative to make a machiatto and brought some hot milk in case I wanted a bit more... and then along came some water to go with my partner's espresso. It was all so nice we bought some almond croissants to take away (yum!). Very glad we took the detour to check this place out.
