The Bombay and the surfin toasties were both unique and delicious. Friendly service. Cup of long black wasn’t to my taste but that’s only because I prefer darker roasts over fruity.

The most delicious cheesiest toasties here! I loved the Reuben with pastrami, kimchi, cheese and Korean spice mayo. Top quality sourdough from local bakery Grain Culture.

Lovely balanced flat white and how can I resist a toastie in this wet morning? The ‘Nduja bean one is a delightful reinterpretation of beans on toast. Crunchy but not greasy. Very cheesy. Very satisfying. Very flavorful with the extra kick of the spreadable sausage (not visible but probably blended in). The place is quite far from me, but I’m definitely going to try the blue cheese next time ^^ (the half toastie comes in a smaller bread that makes it look like a full one. No more cauliflower cheese for the vegan option.) The cozy cafe is actually not crowded as I had expected. The staff are very friendly.

Small place, no room for the buggy so I had to sit outside which was still tight with the buggy blocking the door. Barista barely looked at me and I felt like I was in her way. Coffee flavour was nice but the latte I ordered came in a very small cup (maybe 4 oz?) which felt like a rip off given it was full priced. Almond croissant was okay.

Pretty unassuming from the outside but my GOD the coffee here is fantastic !! You have to try mixed nut brownie. A bonus is the staff are LOVELY!❤️❤️❤️

One of my favourite places on Mill Road by far. The first time I went, I had the best cappuccino of my life. I'm going to sound like a coffee snob here, but the structural balance between the steamed and foamed milk was just perfect. Also, bonus points for being served at a drinkable temperature, so the milk is still creamy rather than burnt and you can take a sip right away instead of waiting 5 minutes while it all deflates! The toasties are delicious (you'll want another no matter how full you are) and they also sell coffee beans, which they can grind for you. Be aware that they don't have wifi, and are a laptop-free cafe. Very family friendly. They also have a toilet. And the baristas are always cheerful and welcoming. What's not to love!

Urban Larder in Cambridge is easily one of my preferred cafes. Their coffee is absolutely delightful, and I'm a fan of their delectable homemade bakery and pastries. The service here is exceptional, which is why I'm a repeat visitor. Fantastic little cafe with a great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious snacks and drinks and out of this world toasties. The cafe is quite small with not many seats inside. There is some outside seating which is nice on a sunny day. The coffee is really good, well balanced and the brownies and cakes on offer are amazing. Toasties are amazing. Literally no other word for them. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.
