Urban Lodge Hotel

Excellent hotel, modern decor & minutes walk to the train station. Staff were helpful and friendly. Central Station is one stop away by train platform 6, we used platform 2a coming back from the centre and again only 1 stop away. Excellent breakfast, we booked b&b so was included if not it is €17.50 for a breakfast. Air conditioning can be adjusted easily which always helps. Water from taps can be drank and convenient Spar shop right outside train station

We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is cozy and comfortable. Our room was large, clean, and recently renovated, with all the essentials: hairdryer, iron with ironing board, small fridge, coffee machine, and the heating could be adjusted easily. The lobby is very inviting, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied and tasty, with plenty of options for vegetarians. The location is convenient: the nearest tram stop is about 10 minutes on foot from the hotel, and from there it’s only 5 minutes to Central Station. The Van Gogh Museum is about 30–40 minutes by tram, but the area itself is quiet, clean, and feels safe. Overall, the hotel offers comfort, a pleasant atmosphere, and good value — a great choice for a short winter trip to Amsterdam. Highly recommended!

Lovely hotel. The room is spacious, bed is comfy, very clean and the decor is really nice. The pillows are tiny which I found very odd! The outside of the hotel is not as nice as what's inside, so don't be deceived upon arrival. It's a very convenient 3 minute walk away to the train station which only takes 9 minutes to get into the city centre for £2.50. However I wouldn't pass by the train station late at night as is crowded by young men rapping and congregating, I'm sure you'd be fine but I avoided by getting an uber. |Overall it's a really nice hotel, perfect for visiting the city centre but staying far enough away that it's quiet and peaceful. I would recommend :)

Had a genuinely smashing time at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone!||The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly from the get-go, making us feel right at home. The service was brilliant throughout our stay.||Our room was very comfortable and came with air conditioning, which was a godsend. We had breakfast included in our package; the food was lovely and the had standard selection you’d expect from a hotel breakfast—can't complain!||A real bonus was how quiet it was; we had no noise at night, which meant we got a brilliant night’s sleep.||The location is spot on for getting about. Being only a 5-minute walk from the train station was massively convenient. ||We used a GetYourGuide app to grab a 3-day travel pass, and having unlimited access to local transport was super helpful.||The only thing that would have helped is knowing the check-out time, as we weren't told during our stay, which caused a bit of uncertainty.||Despite that tiny niggle, a top-class hotel with brilliant service, comfort, and a superb location.

Friendly staff, easy check in and check out experience. They have bag storage which meant we were able to explore the city on the last day. The rooms are good, very spacious and comfortable big beds. The only negative was the breakfast was a little bit disappointing fairly expensive for what it was, but we did get there towards the end of the breakfast times (it wasn’t explained at reception that it was closing in 10 minutes, when we paid). The hotel is about 5/10 walk from the train station, which was fine for us but worth bearing in mind, especially when it’s cold! Overall, would recommend for a budget stay as it is good value.

Really lovely hotel, stayed here for 2 nights with my partner and couldn’t fault it. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Close to the centre of Amsterdam - only took us 5 minutes on the Metro. The only downside was the breakfast, slightly pricey for what it is. £17pp, quite a poor selection and the cooked food wasn’t too great. The staff were friendly and super accommodating! We will definitely be returning in the future :)

This place was excellent!! Very nice staff at check in. The general ground floor area was pleasant and welcoming. With a sitting area and loads of board games to choose from, an electric fire pit to enjoy a drink around and a lovely full window wall to have breakfast at. Breakfast was fantastic. Great selection of items for whatever you are used to having in the mornings. The room was clean and spacious. Would highly recommend.

During my stay, I felt that the staff was not very friendly. There was a discrepancy between the tax fee stated on Trip.com and the amount mentioned by the staff at the property. I was simply asking for clarification, but the response I received came across as rather unfriendly and impatient, which made the interaction uncomfortable.That said, the room itself was generally good. It was clean, comfortable, and provided a pleasant environment to rest. Overall, while the accommodation itself was satisfactory, I hope the staff can improve their attitude and communication with guests in the future.

A really great hotel with modern design and very friendly atmosphere. Love their lobby where you can sit and relax, read, have a coffee or a drink and feel like being in a living room gathered around a fireplace. The rooms are elegant and very comfortable.
