Urban Lodge Hotel

Lovely hotel. The room is spacious, bed is comfy, very clean and the decor is really nice. The pillows are tiny which I found very odd! The outside of the hotel is not as nice as what's inside, so don't be deceived upon arrival. It's a very convenient 3 minute walk away to the train station which only takes 9 minutes to get into the city centre for £2.50. However I wouldn't pass by the train station late at night as is crowded by young men rapping and congregating, I'm sure you'd be fine but I avoided by getting an uber. |Overall it's a really nice hotel, perfect for visiting the city centre but staying far enough away that it's quiet and peaceful. I would recommend :)

Friendly staff, easy check in and check out experience. They have bag storage which meant we were able to explore the city on the last day. The rooms are good, very spacious and comfortable big beds. The only negative was the breakfast was a little bit disappointing fairly expensive for what it was, but we did get there towards the end of the breakfast times (it wasn’t explained at reception that it was closing in 10 minutes, when we paid). The hotel is about 5/10 walk from the train station, which was fine for us but worth bearing in mind, especially when it’s cold! Overall, would recommend for a budget stay as it is good value.

Really lovely hotel, stayed here for 2 nights with my partner and couldn’t fault it. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Close to the centre of Amsterdam - only took us 5 minutes on the Metro. The only downside was the breakfast, slightly pricey for what it is. £17pp, quite a poor selection and the cooked food wasn’t too great. The staff were friendly and super accommodating! We will definitely be returning in the future :)

Had a genuinely smashing time at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone!||The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly from the get-go, making us feel right at home. The service was brilliant throughout our stay.||Our room was very comfortable and came with air conditioning, which was a godsend. We had breakfast included in our package; the food was lovely and the had standard selection you’d expect from a hotel breakfast—can't complain!||A real bonus was how quiet it was; we had no noise at night, which meant we got a brilliant night’s sleep.||The location is spot on for getting about. Being only a 5-minute walk from the train station was massively convenient. ||We used a GetYourGuide app to grab a 3-day travel pass, and having unlimited access to local transport was super helpful.||The only thing that would have helped is knowing the check-out time, as we weren't told during our stay, which caused a bit of uncertainty.||Despite that tiny niggle, a top-class hotel with brilliant service, comfort, and a superb location.

Hello everyone, I would like to start by saying that this hotel definitely does not deserve 4 stars, I rented 3 nights at this hotel. The experience was disappointing, the room was extremely dirty, I don't even think the sheets were changed before we checked in. In the bathroom we didn't even have towels (I mean the normal size ones, I only had 2 small face towels) the bathroom looks terrible, stains on the mirror, and the sink extremely dirty, we didn't even receive the necessary daily cleaning. The staff was friendly but the room was a total failure. I will definitely not come back here😔

Other than the check-in staff and location, this hotel is nothing special and certainly not worthy of 4-star status. We decided to stay here primarily due to the on-site parking facilities. The check-in staff were great although they managed to miss my request for a twin room and allocated a double room for me and my 20-year old son, you should've seen his face! We were able to switch rooms fairly quickly although the bathroom in our new room smelled bad and general room facilities are limited for all rooms in this hotel. Breakfast looks ok but with Amsterdam Central Station only 10 mins away we decided to find ourselves a quaint Dutch cafe instead. A 10-minute walk to the local train station puts you within a 10-minute train ride from central Amsterdam. There are no trams but Uber seems to work well here. One final thing worth noting is that that you will notice a lot of young guests, as this hotel is sold as part of Easyjet Holidays so avoid this place if you're looking for a romantic experience!

This place was excellent!! Very nice staff at check in. The general ground floor area was pleasant and welcoming. With a sitting area and loads of board games to choose from, an electric fire pit to enjoy a drink around and a lovely full window wall to have breakfast at. Breakfast was fantastic. Great selection of items for whatever you are used to having in the mornings. The room was clean and spacious. Would highly recommend.

This was our second time staying at this hotel -we came last year too - and we really do like it here. The staff are lovely and the lobby is really nice. They’ve also got a vending machine which is super handy for snacks and drinks.||We upgraded this time and stayed in Room 33. The room was bigger and had a massive bath, which we loved.||The only downside, both times we’ve stayed, is the bed. It’s two singles pushed together, so every night one of us ended up falling down the middle 😂 We basically had to sleep separately, which isn’t ideal in Amsterdam! There were also a couple of stains on the walls and curtains.||Only a 5 min walk from the train station and just one stop from the centre, we bought a 3 day pass off the ‘getyourguide’ app and it was so handy you could use the pass on the train, tram and buses. ||But overall, we’ve had a really lovely stay both times.

A really great hotel with modern design and very friendly atmosphere. Love their lobby where you can sit and relax, read, have a coffee or a drink and feel like being in a living room gathered around a fireplace. The rooms are elegant and very comfortable.
