URBAN OASIS HOSTEL

Great option very close to the train station and the old town. I arrived early and the people at front desk weren’t really helpful, but they allowed me to leave my luggage. Thank you so much to Roberta, who was at reception in the afternoon when I checked in, was very kind and helped me with a couple of issues I had. I think it’s a great value for price, everything was really clean and the bed was comfortable. It could be a 10/10 if the reception times were a little suitable for travellers (reception opened between 10 and 20, outside that time frame, there’s no one available at the property. Overall I would really recommend it!

This is an amazing hostel in a beautiful old building close to the historic centre. Staff are friendly and helpful. In my room was only 3 beds so it was very spacious. Very quiet. Great facilities including a wonderful garden. Great local recommendations. Laundry service. Highly recommend this lovely place

I extended my stay at Urban Oasis because of the location and cleanliness. The staff made me feel welcomed and helped me with recommendations as well as booked an appointment for me at a salon. They went above and beyond to ensure a smooth stay. You're also 10 min walking distance to the old town.

The room itself was fine - large and reasonably equipped and clean. Location is convenient. Shared facilities like the kitchen were great. The big downgrade is for communication - staffed hours are erratic and when I tried many times to contact the property in advance of our stay through whatsapp, facebook and the booking site, my questions were never really answered - what are the "checkin" procedures and, what is the wifi info in case we needed to contact someone once we arrived and no one was there. Because we were traveling there in the morning, I figured we would have at least 12 hours to sort out if we were going to have to sleep in the car that night. After we found a parking spot, it was just by chance that someone was opening the door so we could confirm that we had a reservation and that we could check in a couple of hours later. We booked about half our stays in hotels and the other half in unhosted properties, and all of the unhosted properties as well as the other hotels were very responsive to my questions. For whatever reason, this hostel didn't seem to want to communicate. I hope they treat their hostel guests better or maybe the guests don't care as much as I do. Simple communication was seriously lacking

Stay here if you are visiting Lecce. It is in walking distance to the city. Rooms are comfy and they even have a garden and a library to relax

Overall, the stay was good. The administration was polite and nice, the rooms are spacious and the view from the balcony is amazing. I enjoyed time spent in the garden and would even recommend the place. The location was also great and central. But addressing the biggest most disgusting and unacceptable thing, it's bedbugs that I discovered upon seeing one on my bag and then a night later bites from them. This has been.. a very unpleasant experience.

One of the cleanest hostel I have been to ! Nice 4 people bedrooms, quite large, and each has an individual bathroom that is cleaned everyday. You have a locker for every bed, a lot of common space and a nice kitchen and garden Not located in the old town but you just have to walk 5 minutes and you are there The neighbourhood is very quite

Hardware is ok with nice kitchen and great garden. Generally clean. Location is perfect though! Seldom a hostel is good in providing information but the staffs are not passionated, but here you have one. The sound proof is very poor, and the bed has no curtains, also not fix on the wall. Which means the other person moves then your bed is shaking too.
