Really good place. On the city centre, near from everything important to visit. The staff is 10 and the rooms and the hostel in general really cleaned, and the kitchen is absolutely crazy. I really recommend this place. Also they have free pool, activites and big tv where you can play music and stay chilling. Really good to meet new people as well. Thanks!

TL;DR: amazing location and value, kitchen and laundry rock, exceptional staff. You should stay here. This has become my go-to place to stay in Christchurch. Here’s why: Unbeatable location right in the city center. Affordable parking available right next door. Staff are without exception lovely and eager to help. Incredible kitchen - one of the best I’ve seen in a hostel. Multiple ovens and pretty much every appliance you can think of. Clean showers and toilets. Laundry service is an amazing deal! $10 gets your clothes washed and dried and returned to your room in under 4 hours! I asked them to please not dry certain items and sure enough, they left those items for me to air dry. Great value. Private rooms for as low as $89. You won’t find better than that! My partner also stayed in a dorm once when he was here and said it was also very comfortable and good value. Highly recommend!

Nice staffs and receptionist. Single room shared bathroom. Bed too soft and sunken for comfort. Bathroom and toilet are clean. Most equipped kitchen that also provides olive oil , pepper and salt for cooking. However poor experience of dirty pan and utensils not cleaned when used by residents and hogging on to drinking cups in their rooms by residents are definitely No No. Very near to Casino, restaurant, cheap PalnSave groceries and botanic garden.

We had a family room which was large. But it all went down hill from check in. There is no elevator to take your families 5 large bags up. The rooms are freezing and the heater was off on arrival and barely didbany thing by the next morning. The walls are thin and you can hear the next rooms conversations clearly, thier TV can be heard better than our own. We slept in to the sound of moaning and excitement from next door, which was great to explain to our kids later. The bathrooms have mould around the showers and I skipped showering. If you shower with the door open, it sets off the fire alarm. Overall this place would be the worst I have ever stayed at, expecialy at this price, and I have stayed in motels in third world countries like Thailand , Philippines, Fiji and Bali, which have all had better qualities. Never again, id ask for my money back but of course there is a no refund policy.

We stay there last feb. For 2 days 2 nights staff are so stupid parking issue did not resolve we pay for 2 days parking and we have parking ebreach it says invalid payment we dont know how did it happen..the result is that we pay 135 dollar bec. The staff that we talk to saying that ignore the letter coz they going to talk to parking enforcement service when we recieve the letter of parking enforcement service again the due is getting bigger. And the staff never apologize to us. your staff are lack of training and manners. We will never stay there again or recommend to others.. Not a good experience..

Amazing hostel. Super clean. Great kitchen, has everything you need. Did a lot of work in the downstairs area with fast and reliable internet. Staff are super friendly and helpful, special shoutout to Tom!

I was on my trip and had stayed for 4 night here. The 4 person dorm is clean and welcoming, spacious enough, provided you arent bring huge luggage. The location is great, located at city centre with parking area at the side (paid parking), walking distance to bus stops, restaurants, bars etc, not to say that you can board the famous tram just at the side of the terrace. The service is so nice, all of them are helpful and friendly. Definitely worth a stop if you do want a good rest and meet new friends!!
