My experience at Uries was decent. It was my first night and Wildwood and we agreed on this restaurant for dinner. Firstly the atmosphere was great the view of the water and the deck they have is very nice especially at sunset. I ordered the clams casino and it was very good. I also got the Maryland blue crabs the crab was decent. There is also an arcade and bar inside the restaurant. My only complaint is the service. It was a busy night so I understand servers are busy but I wish our server was a little more attentive.

I went to Wildwood on June 24 to the 26 of 2024. Going to Uries Waterfront restaurant was supposed to be our highlight meal for the shore vacation. It turned into the Worst. I had called around 1 pm to make sure you did not need reservations and I was told they did not take them but they start dinner at 4 pm and they were serving lunch now. I asked about parking and I was told plenty of parking. 2 lots. My wife and I are permanently disabled and I only saw 2 or 3 parking place designated for handicap and one car had no placards. We had to walk 50 plus yards and across the street. The receptionist asked if we wanted to be seated outside or inside and being this was our first time here I didn’t know where to sit . I was told because of it being a little bit more windy you might be better inside. When I was on the boardwalk earlier that day I was told there was a lot of flies on the beach so I was concerned about flies so we sat inside. We we saw very uncomfortable looking wood seats in a dark reception area with tables. This is approximately 4:30 PM and the lights weren’t even turned on. After the waitress came over to us, we asked what the specials were and I was Told that lobster tail that is stuffed was a special and my wife wanted salmon But a seafood restaurant I was told didn’t have any in stock that day so she got the flounder that was stuffed. I just got water because I don’t drink much and she got unsweetened iced tea After we placed our order, my wife says we’re supposed to get salads and I said I don’t know. We’ll wait for the waiters to come back, after a few few minutes, Someone came over with our drinks, but now I see we have no Splenda for my wife. I have to wave to people 30 yards away to get Splenda which they did. The waitress now brings the salads and I say what kind of dressing is this and she said the house dressing and she’s If you don’t like that, I can get you something else. My wife said that was fine My lettuce had a bunch of endive lettuce in it and hardly anything else with one tomato. My wife says to me now that she don’t like her salad and I tell her I’ll eat it and I realize her only had regular lettuce in it. I don’t think they mixed up the different kind of lettuce is in the back very well. The Salads were nothing special and I’ll get into the bad outcome in a bit. We had gotten three rolls that were not very fresh tasting, and they were not hot. Ice cold and stale tasting. My wife at this point says the waitress is kind of rude and not friendly. Our meal comes and I got the lobster tail and My wife got the stuffed flounder. I had asked for extra butter for my baked potato, which I never received when my meal came out. After eating the Crab stuffing that was on top of the lobster tail I realize I have no kind of knife to cut into the lobster tail, except for a butter knife. That is his dull as it all can be. I have to ask another waitress If they had a some kind of sharp knife and she acted like she didn’t know, but and I said well, can you ask? She returned with a knife that was required Into the rubber hard lobster tail that I had paid over $45 for. It was not good. NOT FRESH. The macaroni and cheese was not hot. After we ate We were asked if we wanted dessert and we said no. We were charged and additional some to use our credit card, which I saw no notice anywhere anywhere at the reception area of this matter Just a Footnote. I Pay the bill and I leave cash for a tip. I get in the SUV that I have to hike to and my stomach starts getting upset. We get to the motel in North Wildwood, and I immediately start running to the bathroom And it’s the salad. After the fourth time in 30 minutes, it’s definitely the salad. This was approximately 5:45 pm now. The salad or the dressing was bad. Overnight my wife also Very sick with the same issues. This was the only thing that we ate or The macaroni and cheese that was lukewarm to cold. Parking for Handicap not adequate. Seafood Meal not good. Salad made us sick 6/25/24

Great place for fresh seafood. Very old school Jersey shore fish house. I say this in a good way. Prices reasonable, food tasty and service top rate. Worth a visit!

I was absolutely appalled by the manager last night when our family of 8 had dinner at this restaurant. She was arrogant and condescending towards us . We come here yearly to visit this restaurant. Our food was not good at all and we couldn’t even get drink refills . The steak was tough and tasteless. My mother in laws crab cake was awful she didn't even eat it . I don't know what happened to this place . There was 0 remorse from the manager when we found a dirty condiment lid in our drink. When we asked for a new one , we received the same glass with a condiment lid once again . The manager came over saying how weird it was that the drink came back with the same lid in it. Then proceeded to lie and say it wasn’t in there because she actually made the drink . The reason I know this is a lie is because she was standing in front of our table the whole time overseeing the restaurant. After receiving the drink the 3 rd time . I told them my ew factor was elevated and there was no way i was drinking that . I was then charged for the gross drink which I found repulsive. The manager never once apologized in fact she was arrogantly annoyed that I complained . Keep in mind I never even asked for a manager to come over . She took time out her night to come over and antagonize me . Horrible. $420 later …

Food was pretty good. The clams casino and fish taco appetizers were great! Prime rib was a little overcooked for our liking. Entrées were room temperature. My daughter devoured the crab legs. It was a bit difficult to get our waitress to refill our drinks, get us a to go box, etc but when she was available she was nice. Beautiful view also.

My wife & I were on vacation this week and we wanted a nice dinner over looking water. We discovered this place and was happy to see it was on the same corner as the iconic Wildwood sign! We had our picture taken and then walked right over into the restaurant. We were greeted by friendly staff and a friendly hostess. My wife wanted a table overlooking the water, and they cleared a spot just for us. Awesome! Then our waitress (Bridget) greeted us and took our drink order. We were all very happy to hear they offer Coke products. We LOVE Coke but for some reason everyone else in Wildwood pretty much only sells Pepsi products, which is ok, but not our preference at all in terms of soft drinks. Our salads came served on glass plates which was a nice through back to the 1980s. Some might mind this presentation, but personally I liked the nostalgia. My wife ordered the lobster tail, both my kids ordered chicken fingers and fries, and I ordered the tortellini Alfredo special. I asked for a piece of chicken parm on top, which I received. We all enjoyed our dinners, however I couldn’t help but feel disappointed in it. This restaurant is dropping the ball when it comes to the food quality. Don’t get me wrong, it tasted good and was cooked correctly, it’s just that it was obviously brought in sauces with frozen chicken. The food was presented well but had that “store bought” taste. This restaurant has friendly staff and a great view of the water, but frozen processed food. It’s like cooking a perfect filet mignon but serving it on a trash can lid. Such a shame in my opinion. I will mention that our waitress Bridget was incredible and should be the blue print for how every wait staff person performs. She was tuned in to special requests, stayed on top of our refills, and was fast on her feet. She and my wife shared some nice conversation also, which shows how personable she is. She helped us feel welcome, and honestly if it weren’t for her, I would have rated this place much lower. In closing, my advice to management is this: You have everything any restaurant would die to have, now start cooking some fresh food. Alfredo sauce is very easy to make. Marinara sauce is easy to make. Chicken parm is easy to prep and should never be frozen. You will get a major jolt in business if you start bringing out dishes packed with fresh flavor. Personally when I go out to eat, I expect something better than I could make at home.

Our experience was so superb I don’t know where to start. Arrived for lunch around 11:45 Opted to seat on the patio for a nice breeze. We started with appetizers, crabs balls, 🦐 shrimp lejon, fried shrimp(which was a platter but we wanted), a burger and the Maryland garlic crabs🦀 (which are served cleaned) YUMMY IN OUR TUMMIES!!! Every single item we ordered FINGER LICKING GOOD. We left town last night and still talking about how we should have taken stuff to go and how this and that was the best we ever tasted!! I’m a very picky eater and like things cooked a certain way everything was cooked per our request. We had two guest join us halfway through our main dish. The manager Ed, whom had introduced himself earlier on and shared there was live music setting up (nice surprise) stopped by to make sure our new guest had been helped. It was nice to see this mgr walking around touching tables, greeting guest, clearing plates, being involved etc. Very friendly, alert, and aware of all the moving pieces. You could tell he cares about how his floor/the establishment runs. That speaks volumes in itself. Our guest, ordered the clams casino, shrimp lejon, fish tacos, crab legs, and clam chowder(can you tell we were hungry), they were also very pleased and enjoyed every bit of it. The patio had definitely filled up for lunch yet Paige (our server) as busy as she was, was very attentive and kept eye contact to ensure all her tables were serviced. I only took pics of our apps cause I wasted no time digging into those crabs, prices are very reasonable for fresh seafood. We will definitely be back and will recommend this establishment to friends and family to visit. Thank you Urie’s team!!

We recently visited from Upstate NY. Our friend we were visiting suggested this restaurant for dinner. Kelly our waitress was very nice and attentive. We had a little mishap with the weekly menu special, but Kevin the manager honored it with no issues. Very nice customer service. I'm a manager myself and I was impressed by the nice employees there. The food was delicious. Best crabcakes I had in a long time along with the bread pudding. We also enjoyed the young fella singing. He was very good.Nice touch when you sit out on the patio overlooking the harbor. I hope to visit again some day.
