U.S. burger

Made it to the famous US Burger! The decor is fun and we had the opportunity to sit at the grill side of the counter. I got the single burger with American cheese and topped it off with the in house bacon. It was perfect! Nice and juicy perfectly seasoned and the right size to leave me satisfied. If I were to come back I'd get a double it's so good. I got to chat with the owner and he's such a great storyteller. He uses incredibly fresh ingredients from the buns to the bacon to the meat. It all comes together in a symphony of juicy and meaty flavors. Definitely recommend if you want to try an authentic us burger! Worth a visit if you're visiting Fukuoka ! If you're a return customer ask for some off menu items! You won't be disappointed!

If you're craving a real American hamburger then you're not going to find a better place. The owner grinds his own Angus beef and it is juicy and delicious. I highly recommend going all the way. Get all the toppings and the double. I haven't had a more satisfying burger experience since I moved to Japan. The regular hamburger that my wife ordered was great, but the one that I got with everything was out of this world good.

I went all the way to Japan for this burger, and I'll say it's better than most burgers I've had here in the states. Awesome atmosphere and friendly staff really made this little burger joint made me feel like I was back home. Make sure you come back.

I’ve been here 7 times as a Californian visiting Fukuoka. I always start and end my trip at this burger joint. I can’t get anything close to this at home. It’s the fresh handmade patty with his own blend and the buns made specifically for his shop that sets it apart. And the bacon, it’s not floppy!

Awesome place. Great burger. Great American-style bacon in particular. Shout out to the crew who were incredibly attentive and the owner especially who took the time and care to show us the intricate details he puts into his craft.

The handmade burgers were delicious, and the store had a laid-back atmosphere that made me feel like I was just at home in the US. Jim is an awesome guy who has tons of stories to share. If I ever come back to Fukuoka I'm definitely eating here again.

Stopped here on my last day in Fukuoka before I went to the park next door - extremely Authentic American vibes, Authentic food (US BACON & BEEF!!), and really good service. Jeremy and Manisha were both extremely kind and a pleasure to speak with. Will return if I come back to Fukuoka!

For context - I'm an American traveling Japan and I really wanted a good American burger. That is exactly what I got. While it's a bit tricky to find the restaurant (they're on the 5th floor of the building) it was worth the walk to get here. When I walked in the owner and staff all greeted me and made me feel right at home. The owner speaks a bit of Japanese but the wait staff that were there that night also spoke fluent Japanese. Made me feel like I stepped through a portal right back to America but then looking out the window you can enjoy the skyline and views of Fukuoka. As for what to order - I highly recommend getting a single patty (the double is huge) with bacon and cheese. Also, get fries and a coke or your soda of choice. The owner makes the bacon himself and it is crisp, flavorful, and melt in your mouth. Additionally, the fries come with barbeque sauce which is also made in house and makes for the perfect taste to cut through the richness of the rest of the meal. Lastly, if they have a special/limited burger... get it. The owner happened to be working on a chilidog burger that, if you like chili/Mexican flavors, I'd highly recommend if it's in the menu. Lastly, some reviews claim the owner was rude, bad mannered, etc. - he's American, not Japanese. Therefore he's sarcastic, blunt, and one of the friendliest people you'll meet in Fukuoka if you stop by. If you just want the food though I'd suggest not sitting at the counter and instead in the seated dining area as that way you can just focus on the food if that is what you'd like to do. Overall, I hope folks swing by if they're in the area as the food is fantastic and the folks are friendly. Also, my price was a bit higher because I ordered a lot of food - if you were to get the burger+Fries+Drink it would likely be about 2500-3000¥
