I work for the DoD and have dealt with many government offices. This office was very helpful, quick, friendly, and was overall amazing, especially compared to other government offices I've dealt with!!!
When entering the office, I forgot my passport photos. The guard out front showed me the CVS across the street and ensured me I would still get my appointment. Went to CVS, went to my prescheduled appointment, and it went smoothly. My appointment was at 0930. When I got there at 0845, they saw me immediately. They then let me know that passports would be ready by 1430 but they'd text me if done earlier. At 1045, I got a text, headed over, picked up my passport, and that was that. Everything was super quick and efficient.
Some advice, ensure you have your government form (DS-11 for me), birth certificate, passport photos, old passport (if you have one), travel plans, and everything else the passport office requires before going or you won't make it in the building (which makes sense).
Keep up the good work!!
Pro tip: The call system is a little dorked up. When you get to the point where it says leave a message, leave the message (I never got someone to call me back). I then called back and chose other options (trial and error) that allowed me to speak to a person right away.
