Google
I really enjoy working with Sean Hailstone and US Pavement for many of the small to large paving, crack and seal coating projects that come our way. Highly professional, great finished product, and at a reasonable price. Sean makes the whole process easy.

Yelp
We hired US Pavements to seal coat our driveway. Joyce was prompt in her communication right from the start and kept us informed on the scheduled job. The team came on the scheduled day. We noticed there were some minor issues the day after. On letting Joyce know she had her team come over within hours and had the fixes in place as per our satisfaction. I would give them five stars just for the customer service and prompt responses ..... and also we know have a freshly coated driveway that is pleasing to see

Annonomous T.

Yelp
Peter, Thanks for the response. As far as the cracks. I didn`t get the crack sealer I got the NORMAL sealcoat application which according to your brochure and the FAQ which you enclosed, helps hide small cracks. Well maybe the operator went to fast to let the sealcoat fill in. The cracks were the least of my concern! The stripes from the application look ridiculous. Before you professionals I put the sealcoat down myself for 40 years and never ended up with streaks like that. And 3 years ago your company did my driveway without a hitch. I wasn`t looking for anything for free I just wanted what I paid 700.00 for. I can get this kind of application from the jobbers that drive by with a ten year old PU pulling a tar tub for 200.00. Please take me off your mailing list because in 3 years my 5 year old grandson will be able to do a better job than this! Thanks for your time! Don't trust this guy have your kids do it themselves!

Yelp
Unprofessional. Unresponsive. Untrustworthy. If I could give zero stars, I would. Will never deal with this company even if it means I learn to spread asphalt myself.

Yelp
I contacted this company numerous times for seal coat. I can not get anyone , via email, or phone. I was told to email contract back to them, and it won't go, can not send! Then I sent an email, and it came back to me! I just called AGAIN, and there was an answering service, that DOSENT TAKE MESSAGES! Really!?!? They tell you to call back, no, I don't think so. Thanks for wasting my time. I'll keep looking for a company that calls you back.

Yelp
I hired US Pavement after seeing their giant billboard on I-93 in Medford awarding them best paving contractor of MA. They also ran this advertisement in all the business trade journals They did infrared asphalt paving, seal coating and line striping on one of my commercial parking lots. They are competitive on pricing, responsive, and of the best quality. They didn't get the job done right 100% but was very fast in responding and correcting the issue shortly after. They did a good job, I would use them again

Bruce M.

Yelp
I contacted them almost two months ago and requested a quote to have a fairly large project completed on our commercial loading dock. It took them two weeks before they came to look at the project, Sean Hailstone was the appraiser who came out. He told me he would have the quote to me in a couple of days...... I waited a week, nothing, So I e-mailed him, waited almost another week ......no response.....So I called and left a voice message.....no response. Finally he said he was "waiting for concrete prices".......I waited 4 more days. Called again, no response...... So because of him, I waited much longer then I should of had to before getting another quote from a far more responsive and reputable company. Even today, nothing back from Sean........

Yelp
I WILL NOT RECOMMEND U.S. PAVEMENT TO DO A JOB TO ANYBODY. I had it done paint and crack filling Parking spacing paint was great, but crack filling was HORRIBLE, it was about 65 space parking lot, I took more than 90 different location pictures they have been missed to fill it. I have called the salesman same day when they came out to do a job, he was in CT, so he told me will be at my site on Friday which was 3 days after the day I called and he never showd up or called. I have called and called and left message never got returned call back from him.

Yelp
Hands down the worst company I have ever had to deal with. If I could give less stars I would! My condo complex hired US to reseal our driveway and asked all tenants to park on the street. Despite the fact that I was no longer parked anywhere near the complex they managed to cover my entire car in tar. My car is a brand new 2012 with only 4,000 miles on it! When I went to work the next day they sent someone to work on my car WITHOUT my permission and they somehow made the car look worse. When I contacted them they told me it was "no big deal" and told me to contact their insurance company. STAY AWAY from US Pavement at all costs!

Dave M.

Yelp
I've used UP Pavement for seal-coating 7 times in the past 15 years without an issue. In all these years they have communicated in a timely manner, scheduled and met appointments (weather permitting of course), all without issue. I highly recommend them.

Yelp
I hired US Pavement Woburn to seal cracks in my driveway and apply seal coat. I signed the work order in Apri'17. They performed the work in July'17 and by January'18 I had the same open cracks they previously sealed with their asphalt joint compound. I sent them pictures of the driveway cracks and they called back saying the driveway is heaving which it is not. They never came out to the property to see the actual re-cracking. Their guarantee does not cover material and workmanship applied to cracks. With a guarantee like that I wanted to make sure they had a success rate on repairing cracks before I signed the work order. I sent them pictures of the cracks with measuring tape so they can see the width of the cracks. They never visited my property to see the cracks. They told me the repair will work as it is nothing they have not done before with success. It didn't work and the guarantee does not cover a redo of crack repair. The people I talked to were very polite but the workmanship that resulted left me wanting for a better job performance. They market themselves on sealing cracks, repairing asphalt, and seal coating among other things. My experience is the repair cracking they said will work failed in less than a year. I took a chance on their "experience" and I am left with cracks and no work guarantee which I knew was a risk. Bottom line, I will not use them again as they politely showed no interest in my driveway problem after their repair did not work. "Caviat emptore" if using this company. JasK

Yelp
Recently had our driveways sealed by US Pavement. They ran a promotion...$279 total for 2 80x15 driveways. They worked with me to schedule a convenient time, they called again a couple of days ahead to confirm, and the crew showed up on time. The crew cleaned up the driveways, filled in some nasty cracks and left the place spotless. I would recommend this company for residential sealcoating.

Bob S.

Yelp
I have a 300 yard driveway. Having it done by a company that specializes in commercial work was a super suggestion made by the people fixed our patio. The price was very good. The work was done fast. I think they did it in 3 hours or so. They did a careful job: no splatters on the garage door. And they filled in the wide cracks with the same stuff they use on roads. We were afraid we'd get thick bumps like you sometimes see in parking lots where they do this. But they did it absolutely flat. We are really thrilled with US Pavement's service.

Yelp
Fourth time rescheduling. 3 no-shows and 1 weather... forgettaboutit

Peter M.

Yelp
U.S. did a great job on my old driveway. The difference was day and night. They provided extra joint seal at no charge and cleaned up great. They corresponded well while we waited for our date. The value was excellent.

Yelp
I got a flyer in my door with an estimate to seal my driveway. I was interested so called to schedule. The day they came, I'm told they can't do the work, there's deterioration on the drive way. Why did they put a flyer/quote on my door (handwritten, mind you) without checking if it can be done? OK, disappointed but fine. I asked to quote again with fixing the pavement in addition to the sealing job. Days later, I see a charge on my credit card for the full amount I was quoted initially. They didn't do the work, why charge me?! I called, it was rectified days later. But I'm still waiting months later for the quote I asked for. Even if it ever shows up, I'll find someone else. Just doesn't seem like a professional operation here.

R S.

Yelp
The price is moderate (considering it takes me 2 messy hours to do it myself) so is a decent value for the money. Scheduling was easy and friendly. The work crew was very helpful and considerate. The first time they arrived with the big tank truck, they pointed out to me that a small section of algae/moss growing on a shaded section of my driveway would interfere with adhesion longevity, and they suggested that I reschedule the coating until after I cleaned and removed the algae. So I removed the algae with a stiff broom and solution of soap and chlorine bleach, rinsed it well, and they came back two weeks later. They did a nice job and roped off the driveway entrance to warn anyone from driving on it. Note the following: * They do not fill large cracks. They only fill a limited number of linear feet (or whatever is specified in the job estimate) of medium cracks before doing the final seal coat. * After they coat it you will need to let it dry for 24-28 hours before parking on it * The "latex-based coal tar" will continue to dry and emit a noticeable odor for another 2-3 weeks. So don't schedule a cookout for at least a week after the sealing if your patio is directly downwind of the driveway. * They do not pressure wash the driveway - they only sweep and blow the dust/leaves off. * Be sure to remove any algae/moss beforehand (pressure wash or stiff broom with soap and chlorine bleach). Rinse and let it dry well. * Check for grass or vines that overhang the driveway. I was surprised to discover that my grass had encroached about 6 inches onto the driveway and had to spend an hour edging it back properly. I only wish they offered a preparation service to edge the lawn and pressure wash the driveway.

Yelp
I wanted to be pleased, but I am very disappointed by the reaction from company management to a problem with water continuing to puddle up in the area that US Pavement was paid to repair on my property. I left emails and messages for people involved at the company and was treated to what seems like either dismissal (give it 24 hours) or patronizing silence. No one offered to come and look at the standing water first-hand (which is right next to my building). If you choose to work with this company, be sure you emphasize your expectations--I left too much to chance.

Sheri L.

Yelp
The worst seal coating service company we ever hired. Did a lousy job on our driveway and then would not fix the problems after confronted with the issues. Claimed the equipment they used was not suitable for fixing alligatored surfaces. If you hire them - you will be extremely sorry!

Yelp
I have used this company twice now for residential seal coating of my driveway. My first experience was clearly good since I hired them again. The work was incredibly clean, and I was impressed by the perfect quality. I hired them again this past week, and sometimes a company's reputation shines more when the job isn't perfect than when it is. I had a few minor issues after the work, and contacted the company. All I can say is that this company cared about customer satisfaction from start to finish. They came back the very next day and addressed the issues I bought to their attention. Although I didn't feel the quality was perfect the first time through, I felt as if they would come back a hundred times to make me happy if I wanted them to, and they didn't make me feel like I was being a pain in ANY way. I would recommend them for residential seal coating, and I will be calling them again for my next job. They do good work, and they care about the customer.

Yelp
US Pavement did an excellent job seal coating our driveway. The crew was punctual, covered every inch and did not leave a mess.

Yelp
I've used US Pavement Services for several years now. I'm very pleased with their work and their prices are very competitive.

Yelp
I bought an old fixer-upper in Marblehead, MA via an estate sale....All aspects of the house were outdated and need some TLC....including my drivelway. I contacted US Pavement Services and they came out and gave a fair estimate...When the ground warmed-up in the spring they returned and sealcoated my driveway. The driveway frankly looked brand new and vastly improved the the apearance of my house. I have since referred them to several neighbors and they have similarly enlisted their services with great success.

Yelp
One of the worst managed companies I have ever dealt with. Came out last fall to reseal my driveway which was my first mistake. After chasing them down for a month to get scheduled they came out and sealed the driveway. Here is the first sign they are horribly managed, I paid them on the day they sealed the driveway then got a bill and a phone call a week later for none payment until I produced the cancelled check for them. I then complained that the sealant looked very uneven and splotchy. Again after many phone calls and a rep came out with a BS answer and said that if I was still unhappy in the spring they would come out and fix the problem. Well come spring the sealant washed off the driveway and looked worse then before they started that was April. Again the rep came out was very apologetic and said once the weather warms up that I would be put on the schedule to have the driveway redone and this time they would apply a heavy coat by hand. Just like before more confusion and never scheduled had to track them down and get put on the schedule and that was in June, was told that my appointment would be July 9th so I made arrangements for my cars to be parked elsewhere since I live on a busy street and can't use the driveway until the sealer dries. So the night before the re-do I called only to find that I wasn't in the schedule and they cant make it; well after a heated discussion I was put on the schedule with a window time of get this 8am-4pm, worse then a cable company. So I lost a day of work blood pressure way up all due to a complete disconnect with customer services. When they finally arrived at 4pm the workers did a great job of applying the seal coat and cleaning the driveway. Keep in mind this is a re-do due to a horrible first attempt. It has now been two weeks I went away for a long weekend so the driveway could properly cure came home Sunday a full 4 days of baking in the sun. Every time I pull in or out of my driveway you can see where my tires are actually pulling up the sealer. I suspect that by fall the sealant will be destroyed and look terrible it already looks bad. Now for the kicker I just received a bill for the second coat of sealer that was a re-do. I don't know how this company is still in business they are so disconnected to what customer service is and the product they use has to be watered down even a bucket from home depot will last longer then the crap they are selling. I wouldn't use this company if they paid me for them to do it. I'm a contractor and telling every body I know to stay as far away from this company as possible.

Yelp
STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!! Very unprofessional and unpleasant! This company was hired to pave sidewalks surrounding a cul-de-sac at the end of my street for a future building project. The issue is that there are currently no houses at that end of the street and there is no water on the location. So, the project manager went house to house asking neighbors if they could hook up to their outdoor water spigot to provide gallons and gallons of water for THEIR 8hr project. I have a huge issue with that, taking water that we the people pay for, these people are being paid to do this job, why should WE have to deal with them either coming to our door or taking our water?! Neighbors turned them down when they asked for water. They took matters into their own hands and walked onto a neighbors property and hooked up to their water. I took pictures of them going to my neighbors house when he was not home and hooking up to their outdoor spigot, WITHOUT PERMISSION! I sent the pictures to my neighbor asking if they gave permission and they DID NOT! During the 8hour project I witnessed several workers smoking pot while on their lunch break then going back to drive the heavy machinery while under the influence. I also saw another worker walk onto another neighbors property inspecting a car that was parked in the driveway. When my neighbor got home, they approached the project manager and asked why they walked onto his private property without permission and used his water. The worker's response was extremely disrespectful and rude. Saying- "you didn't see me do it! No proof- wasn't me" The police were notified and several complaints were made to the company. The police told them to stop what they are doing. 2 complaints to the company but nothing was done. Then a week later, they come back to finish the job. Again, same issue where these workers are going onto private property. I made another complaint to the company and spoke to Kevin, the C.O.O. of the company. He said that it is typical for them to go door to door and ask for water if there is no water on site. I have a huge issue with a company coming unprepared. They could easily arrange to have a water truck on site whether they charge the customer extra or not. If it is not our project, why should it be our issue that they don't have water? The C.O.O. of the company had no issues with his workers going house to house for water. After my phone call to the company, the project manager onsite approached me and asked my why I made a complaint. Being very arrogant and seeing nothing wrong with what they are doing. This company is unprofessional and in no way, shape or form courteous. Stay clear!

Yelp
I live in an apartment complex, and when they started the pavement work, it was a night mare moving cars around and having to figure out where they were working next. Notifications to residents was not clear. Then, after all the work was done which took them too long to do, the roads and parking lots started to crumble. The speed bumps completely fell apart as well. It was the most crappiest work ever done. Worst part is that I spent the entire fall and winter cleaning up the little chunks of gravel that came from the crumbling pavement. There was gravel being tracked from our shoes, inside my home. I've seen many pavement jobs, but these guys suck! Really poor quality work. Now, They're here to repair their mess, again (Spring). From what I'm seeing, they are scrapping up the bad areas and patching. SMH, these guys are the worst. Warning! Do Not Hire Them! They really do suck!

Mary K.

Yelp
we cleaned our driveway with professional grade chemicals in preparation to sealcoating. my husband then decided not to continue the work himself so we contracted with u.s. pavement services. not that it was needed but we paid for another cleaning before sealcoat to exceed government specification was applied. within the one year warranty period significant areas are bare of coating and we can see the remaining coating is paper thin. my 73 year old, 150 lb. husband always did a better job than this company and his work lasted many years. the company offered no satisfaction in redoing the work.
