USA Berkey Filters

Perfect for my wife and myself. We are both retired and the Royal Berkey helps us in curbing and removing toxins in our water. When you get to retirement age, you don’t need the added stress on water contaminant, even you use city water. Better safe than neither.

I really like our Big Berkey, 2.25 gal. We travel a lot and make our home in different places for a couple months at a time and in certain areas it is difficult to find refill stations for gallon jugs of drinking water so when we found the Berkey filtrations system we were so excited to try it. A friend of ours highly recommended it and after researching it I was convinced. It has helped simplify our daily life, not having to track down a water refill station or go to the store as often, and give some peace of mind knowing we have access to fresh water at any time. The taste is great (water should taste like nothing but still refreshing, which this accomplishes). We stayed in Chicago and filtered the city water and could smell the chlorine while filling the Berkey top tank. But when you fill your glass with the filtered water there is zero smell or taste. Just wonderful! We’re very happy with our purchase.

Very happy with purchase of water level viewer spigot. I was pretty tired of lifting the top chamber of the Berkey to check the water level. Yes, might be a first world problem however, after having several surgeries on a wrist, checking the water level became a bit of a challenge. I only wish there was some sort of bobble inside the viewer to make it even easier to see from a distance. All in all, I’m very happy with the addition to my Berkey.

My boyfriend bought me the Royal Berkey for my birthday last year. We decided to change the filters after 1 year because it was just the two of us using it for drinking water. We bought new filters and took it apart to clean. First, the upper chamber was starting to rust. Then, when we took out the stainless steel/glass spigot, and the part that sits in the lower water chamber was completely rusted. Of course, I emailed customer service with pictures and expressed my concern about drinking rust water for however long, and that if it were made of high-grade stainless steel, it would take much longer than a year to start rusting. Customer service told me that we’re past the warranty period and our only option is to purchase a new one online. Don't waste your money.

I purchased my Berkey Royal two years ago after moving to the country and living with a well. I actually even had my water tested through a lab that I was using from my Berkey. All good and I especially love the updated filters!

We have been using Berkey for about 10 years. My wife has a weak stomach and the black filters seemed to take care of the issue. Used it across the country camping too. However, the last 2 black filters and the ceramic filters are not making her stomach issues better and we had to stop using. We are buying bottled water :(

These water filters have been great for years, but the one I purchased recently had multiple improvements. Better filters, better system for flow, better spigot. They're not just great, they're always trying to be better. The water itself is excellent quality. I drink lots of this daily and, as my body is very sensitive, I've never noticed any issues. All the testing of water from these filters tells the story. Definitely recommend this water and this company.

I had very hard time priming the elements/filters. After multiple times changing the water, it still has some chemical taste. The container is looking great though. I will never buy the fluoride / arsenic filters to have plastic hanging in the filtered water. Hoping to find something with all filtration properties to stay on the top chamber and away from my drinking water. Great responsive customer service. Thank you!
