A Modern Wine Region Emerges Amid Turkey’s Ancient Ruins

"Your next stop, USCA winery, gives off major hipster vibes. Young couples and groups of friends gather around upturned barrels on the stone patio, drinking cuvées that blend international and Turkish grapes, such as Shiraz and Foça Karasi (reminiscent of Grenache)."

We went there for wine tasting, we tried 6 different wines and they were all so tasty. Tasting menu in this winery’s view is very dreamy. The winery is absolutely beautiful and amazingly designed. The service is also 10/10. The gentleman explaining each wine and the menu was very polite and welcoming. Highly recommended 10/10

The vineyard outside is ugly and the staff is rude. Huge mess outside. Toilets at the entrance smell, like a portable WC.

We visited this winery at the end of December 2023. We did not arrange a visit and tasting in advance, the goal was to come and see the winery itself and buy a couple of bottles of wine. It is a small winery with its own aesthetics and atmosphere. I really liked the employee of the winery, who advised us on the wine according to our wishes and offered to try it before buying. And it was the perfect recommendation, as the wine completely matched our expectations. Next time, we will definitely order a wine tasting and try all the wines offered by the winery, ask for a mini-tour of the territory.

It was a great experience. If I need to recommend one wine tasting experience and location it would be this winery. They have a tasting menu but you can also read about their wines and pick the ones you like. They also have very nice snacks available. The porch where you sit is adorable and charming. Staff has great attitude and the wine were amazing!

Beuaitful and really peaceful place. Modern rustic decoration. Price for wine tasting is 25 TL. So cheap, you taste 4 wines. They were allright, i missed visiting the vineyards and getting some tour around the winery, they just served the wine, explained a bit of each one of them and left.

We did premium wine tasting as a group of 4. 4 others joined us during the event. The explanations were very good. We definitely enjoyed the whole event. The only criticism is that it was a bit fast. We could hardly keep up with the pace of explanations with our drinking. We experienced premium tasting package with 6 wines. They were very diverse and tasty.

It was such a nice surprise to meet this lovely lady who knows the wine making process as well as the qualities/aromas of the wines they are selling, and she speaks English so well! If you're in the neighborhood and looking for wine tasting, I definitely recommend you to give it a try. Many thanks!
