Went to see the Tiger lilies, great show intimate scene. The bar had a good selection, toilet was clean but the couch was broken and should be replace in the bar space.

Pretty nice location for event. Was here for an event about social enterprise. The staffs are nice. But no coffee inside the theater please~

My first time there I went to watch the play “Tom na Fazenda”. I was very impressed with the place, really like it and will come back to see more shows. The play is amazing by the way.

Google
It's a great place for shows! There's a lot of space inside, there's also a bit of exterior space in case you wanna go outside. My only complaint is the lack of bathrooms. There is one place that you can access but if there's a line, there's nowhere else to go.

The shows they curate are exceptional and the bar is great.

Google
Rude staff. Was denied entry due to being late a few minutes (never been to a venue that refused entry due to being late in my life)...because they have the guests walk through the stage to get to their seats apparently? No parking, no clear information on the tickets. Terrible area with bums begging all around and trash everywhere on the sidewalks and streets.

Yelp
My favourite venue in Montreal. I usually go to Usine C for theatre performances and they have always been interesting, different, and really engaging. They bring in international troupes and you're always in for some sort of treat. I've always loved what I've seen there and, despite the slightly awkward location (for metro users), my experiences there have been memorable. It feels professional yet cozy.

Yelp
The first time I came to Usine C was to see Nitzer Ebb a few years ago, nearly 18 years after I first saw them opening up for Depeche Mode back in 1990 and couldn't get over what a great venue it was, small enough to feel intimately involved in the show, large enough to take a break from the crowd and mind your own business in the gardens outside. A bar, a place to buy T-shirts and just hang with your friends, Usine C is a very civilized, CLEAN and amazing venue to take in a show . The acoustics are great, the crowd and staff are really chill and I love the fact that it's an old, industrial factory which still maintains it's old architectural features while having a new lease on life as an artistic venue.

Yelp
I love this venue. I believe it is usually used for theatre events in Montreal, but when I have been to this venue it has been for the Kinetik music festival. There is one large room for the bands to play in, equipped with lighting and techies at the back. There is a smaller lounge on the other side of the building, down a spiral staircase as well. For me, this was a good spot to sit down and give those heels a rest, and still pound back the drinks so the feet hurt less. Usine C also has an outdoor patio for the smokers, the organizers of Kinetik had a hot dog and hamburger stand set up out here so that we wouldn't starve since the festival started at 4pm and went until 3am. Too bad they ran out of food each night! It was ok though, we had in/out privileges. Usine C had really cool lights in the main hallway that were made from broken glass bottles, making them look like glass chandeliers, which was very beautiful. There was an upstairs area as well, which, for the festival, had clothing vendors, artists, and this was also where the bathrooms were hiding. Now my rating could be biased, since we have pretty much NO venues like this in Vancouver, so having a venue like Usine C that you can rent out for live shows, that has two rooms, and a place where you can throw in your own vendors is pretty fucking amazing.

Yelp
Let me start off by saying I didn't actually go TO Usine C, I went to the new restaurant in the basement called Le C opened Tigre Ton. This place is a must try!! It is authentic Spanish tapas made with love and tenderness. You can taste the love Tigre Ton has for his food. Every dish comes out impeccably plated. I have nothing bad to say about Le C. This man deserves major recognition for what he is doing. Hats off Tigre Ton!!

Yelp
The best venue in Montreal for edgy, modern theatre. They have a great selection of both domestic and visiting shows from all around the world. The pieces are allways thought provoking and usually visually stunning. If you like modern art and modern theatre, dance, or performing arts, Usine C is the place to go to. There is a restaurant on the lower floor for a before or after show food or drink. In the warmer months it's very nice to have a drink on the patio.

Yelp
Usine has an unfortunate business model. Its kind of like overbooking... they keep line of folks, and at showtime, if you're not checked in, they sell your seat. This was a problem for me, as there are actually two Lalonde streets... Google maps took me to the other one... a got there a few minutes late, and the staff (rudely) not only wouldn't seat me... they had double sold my seats. As I walked out, I saw they'd somehow found a seat for the "next guy"... who was a friend of the performer. I called the next day(the number the ticket taker said I had to call), and was very rudely lectured on my responsibilities... and they wouldn't refund my (double sold seat)... I guess its the double-sold bit that annoys the most... the performer didn't have the pain of seeing an empty seat, and the business wouldn't have been out their cash...

Yelp
They have some great shows, but a few minutes late, the doors shut, and no refunds no returns... and guess what they sold your seat to someone else. A good deal to charge twice for a seat I suppose. Funny thing was there was another guy came in at the same time as I... but he was friends with the manager... he got in. Seems if they found room for one, they could have worked out another.
