A Wonderful Surprise in Ardez
I was genuinely surprised by how good this place is. I started with the beef tartar — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Then came the kapuns, an Engadine specialty I don’t usually enjoy, but here they were amazing. The knödel with apricots were the absolute highlight — just delicious.
The cook is clearly very talented and also incredibly friendly, which made the experience even better.
And the view — stunning! Sitting on the small terrace overlooking the mountains and the beautiful village of Ardez made the whole meal unforgettable. Highly recommended!
