Great museum! The installations are interesting and varied, while the exhibit itself is done with respect without veering into the "pathetic" or overly heroic. It's well split into topics of the operations and the importance of Utah Beach specifically within Operation Overlord. Thanks again!

Very good museum describing Utah beach defensive preparation and local resistance and American landing. Also the challenge to create and original funding for the museum. Well worth a visit to understand this aspect of the war. Didn't find signposting to the general car park clear at all

This memorial beautifully honors the Americans fought and the many who sacrificed their lives. We visited the outdoor exhibit and the museum. There weren’t many people there when we arrived around 11:00; however, it was much busier when left around 1pm. I would suggest purchasing museum E-tickets if your visit is later in the day.

The Utah Beach Landing Museum is a must-visit destination for history enthusiasts exploring Normandy. Located at the exact site of the D-Day landings on June 6, 1944, the museum offers an extensive collection of historical artifacts, photographs, and personal accounts that bring the events of that day to life. One of the standout exhibits is the room dedicated to the assault at Brécourt Manor, carried out by Company E, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment—the famous “Band of Brothers.” This exhibit provides a detailed look at the tactical assault and ongoing discoveries of artifacts from both German and American forces. The museum’s highlight is the fully restored B-26 Marauder, one of the aircraft used in the pre-invasion bombings. Visitors can also step outside to walk along the very beach where thousands of Allied troops landed, offering a powerful and immersive historical experience. As a unique souvenir, the museum’s gift shop sells small jars that visitors can fill with sand from the beach, creating a lasting connection to this historic site.

Great Museum wit a lot of history and the B52 is for sure the main attraction 🤩. There is also a lot to see outside the Museum.

I’ve always wanted to come and visit Omaha and Utah Beaches, definitely glad I was able to see them in person. Great museums and memorial!

Right on the beach and built around real German fortifications this is a good museum with some really interesting exhibits and dynamic displays, complete with some pretty in-depth stories and background. This includes the fascinating story of the last flight of ‘Dinah Might’ a B26 Marauder and the brave men that flew her. The museum presents one of the World’s 3 remaining B26s in existence in ‘Dinah Might’ livery to tell the story. It’s a remarkable sight superbly displayed in its own glass hanger attached to the museum. The museum is a must if you’re visiting Utah beach.

One of the most impressive WW2 museums, and is located on Utah Beach.

Yelp
Very cool museum with a lot of information. This museum is not huge but it's informative. The museum has 1 of 6 B 17 Bombers left in the world and the only one outside the United States. Lots of cool things to look at as it looks after D-Day. I'd say if you can come see this museum !

Yelp
We really enjoyed this museum right at Utah beach. Very reasonable at 8 pounds for adult and does have student discount. It walks you through a wandering path and offers a theater to watch videos, a plane, motorcycle, full gear and parachutes, and 1 million other little things to look at. Offered in both French and English for all videos and writing. Easy to spend at least an hour here but for those who are history buffs, you could stay for many more. Walk next to it to get to Utah beach and across is a restaurant and gift shop. Well worth the stop to read the history of this place.

Yelp
Fabulous story-telling stop when visiting Normandy. I was more interested in the U.S. landing areas further west. But we took a day to come see the British and Canadian areas. This museum was the best in Normandy. I read three books on the Normandy landings before coming here. But none explained the preparation in England and actual activities that went on to support the invasion. This place tells the story well, with a huge model to view and good videos. Then look out the windows and see the real thing. Seeing the beaches and the landing areas is important. But this makes the story whole.

Yelp
This was a well laid out museum. It had many authentic artifacts. Many of the vehicles have not been moved for 74 years. You could tell they were authentic. This was my favorite D-Day beach by far. It was the authentic and well preserved. There is also, a great cafe on property. It would be a good lunch stop. All parking here is free!
