We loved our stop to Utah Olympic Park! We were expecting to see the Olympic rings and were a bit disappointed to find out there were none, but the little museum and getting to see how courageous the olympians are to go off those jumps and trails was worth the time. They have interactive experiences in the museum that cost extra but that seemed like a lot of fun! Definitely a great stop for tourists near Park City!

As part of a cross country road trip in September, we spent a weekend in the Salt Lake City area. We drove about 30 miles to the Utah Olympic Park to see where several events took place in the 2002 Winter Olympics. There is a multiple story building with exhibits on the Olympics from 2002. One can see medals that were awarded, videos, event equipment, etc. Outside, we were able to watch individuals using the ski jump areas practicing their acrobatic maneuvers before plunging into the swimming pool area. If in the Salt Lake City area, take the time to see this if you are a fan of the Olympics.

Google
Great historical place to visit. Definitely recommend the $10 tour up to the top of the sliding sport start and ski jump. Very knowledgeable and fun tour guides. The museum has a lot of interesting exhibits for winter Olympics and the 2002 Salt Lake games.

Google
Our company marketing department went here for some team building and thoroughly enjoyed the Alpine Slide activity! They organized everything with us in advance and gave us the information we needed to make sure everyone would have a great time. Their on-site staff were friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a team building activity (for reference we had a group size of almost 50 people).

Google
Fun for the whole family. From the free Olympic museum to all the summer activities (zip line, air bag jump, ropes course, Bobsled rides), to the Flying Ace All Stars water ramp show, to the plethora of winter Olympic activities, there is no shortage of activity and inspiration at Utah’s very own Olympic Park.

Google
It was a wonderful place to visit! We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the bobsledding experience, and I highly recommend both. Seeing the site of the Olympic Games and participating in a similar activity was a truly unique experience. There is also a free museum to walk through a well!

Google
Recently my family came to visit for the second time this year and we always have a blast! We utilized the ski lift, did some hiking along with the tubing! You weren't able to use the Olympic bigger slope which my kids were bummed out about however everyone still had a great time! We also did the summer bobsled experience which was crazy! Definitely an experience and recommend to everyone!!

Fred Dombski

Google
We took the guided tour of the slopes, machinery and intensive training and mind set of these athletes. Casey Larsen was our tour guide and a contestant in the 2018 and 2022 ski olympics and says he will work at it as long as he can. Many interesting facts and you can stand at the brink of the ski jumps. Quite exhilarating.

Yelp
Back in 2002, I was here for the Olympics, but I don't think I fully grasped the magnitude of hosting the entire world in our back yard. We will get another chance in a few years, but until then, the Utah Olympic Park is a good place to get a taste for the Games. There's a free museum inside which has lots of neat items on display. It took me back to the days of pin trading and beret-wearing...IYKYK. You can also admire some of the costumes and puppets from the opening ceremonies as well as some video clips from different events. They do a nice job of showing some of the highlights from 2002. Outside, you can participate hands-on in some activities such as the bobsled, etc. I took my turn at the ropes course and found it to be just the right degree of difficulty and challenge without being overwhelming. Note that I did the intermediate course. My adventure buddy did the expert course and said it was certainly challenging, but doable. There's a good amount of walking that you'll do if you wander the entire facility. Plan on drinking lots of water and wear your sunscreen.

Yelp
This place is so fun and such a time capsule for such an important time in Utah. I love looking around the memorabilia and understanding old sports and athletes that were so influential in 2002. This gets me excited for 2034. Very fun to watch people train on the smaller jumps outside the museum.

Alison H.

Yelp
What a cool place! Loved being able to walk around this free museum to see memorabilia from the Salt Lake City Olympics. So many fun and informative displays! I'm always in awe of Olympians! They have activities that you can pay for like bobsledding (all times of the year) but we didn't do any of the extras during our visit. The employees there are knowledgeable and helpful -- one lady kindly offered to take our photo in the bobsled which we really appreciated!

Andy V.

Yelp
What a really cool place. To be honest, i wished I had done more research prior to visiting the park. The Olympic Park sits on top of a beautiful park. It's actually free to get into if you just want to visit so it's something to absolutely to do if you're on a budget and/or trying to save a few bucks while you're in park city. I thought the museum was nice. It gave a nice overview of the Winter Olympics with a few cool interactive pieces to it, and a few photo ops too. The park has a bunch of activities for kids and big kids to spend the day acting like their own version of olympians. I spent hours watching people doing the ski mogul jumps into the pool. You could also watch people zip line as well. There are plenty (many) other activities as well too. Everything was so fun. Next time I'm in Park City, i would absolutely come back to this park, I'd even consider take part in one of the activities even though I'm a bit clumsy- they do make you sign waives.

Danielle K.

Yelp
What a cool place to visit! Unfortunately I was just a kid when the Olympics were held in Park City, Utah so I don't remember much about them. However I was in town recently and found out the Olympic Park offered tours so I knew I wanted to check it out. Using Waze we had a bit of difficulty finding their location but Google Maps helped us out. They had a big lot full of free parking available which was great. The tour tickets are pretty reasonable in price, I just wish there was a bit more to see. The tracks were all fascinating as well as the ability to see some of olympic equipment. There wasn't anyone on the tracks though performing any of the sports, which is what I was hoping for. However the views were incredible once we got to the top and the tour guide was very passionate about his job which made the experience great. He was very knowledgeable about any questions that were asked too.

Yelp
This is my second sliding experience and I highly recommend everyone give it a try. In someways for the layman, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity unless you live by a sliding center. The Utah Olympic Park offers bobsledding in the summer and winter. In the summer, the sled is on wheels. In winter, you're riding a true bobsled with blades on ice. I will preface, you pay a larger fee for an experience that's less than a minute; my ride was less than 49 seconds and my husband went faster at less than 48 seconds. There are 4 people per bobsled, but that's three passengers and one trainer pilot. Taking the bobsled slide is a winning experience in Park City at UOP!

Tracy D.

Yelp
Oh my goodness! WHAT A BLAST!!! You get a lot for what you pay for...if the lines are not too long. You get unlimited rides/access for 3.5 hours for one price (ranges from $67 to $95 depending on the day). This includes the Alpine Slide, Extreme Tubing, Extreme Zip, Freestyle Zip, Discovery Course, Canyon Course, Summit Course, Drop Tower, Airbag Jumps, Action Tower, and Scenic Chairlifts. PLEASE NOTE: this does not include the bobsled, as that rocking is separate. My favorites were the Extreme Zip and Extreme tubing. They do have smaller courses/rides for kiddos. We were there for the full 3.5 hours and got to do everything at least twice if not 3 times. The staff were super kind, non-judgmental (about fear), and courteous. Definitely recommend coming here and allowing your adventurous side to come out to play!!!

Lloyd C.

Yelp
This is a must-visit place. There is so much rich history about the Olympics and Park City. Guided tours and action simulators. They have a zip line, bobsled experience, hiking trails, etc.

Brittany B.

Yelp
I'm not sure what I expected, but my experience exceeded my expectations. There's a little something for everyone. For me, this place is an adult adventure park and chance to try a handful of Olympic sports. For the kiddos, it's likely the same, a sporty adventure paradise and introduction to skiing, bobsledding and high diving. For the hiker, there are plenty of trails to explore. For the history buff, the free museum with free tours are perfect. For the tourist, the gift shop offers plenty of goodies. For non sporty types, the shows are perfect, and the sunset on the property is unmatched. For the thrillseeker, bobsledding, alpine slides, obstacle courses, high diving and ski jumping into a pool! This leads me to my tips incase you plan to visit: *arrive early to get a good spot for the flying aces show...really early! The seats go quickly. *visit on a clear sunny day to get the most out of your experience *arrive early so you can make the most of your time there, and raise you chances that the tickets for your desired attractions are available *call ahead if there's something you're extremely interested in, a few experiences were closed/sold out by the time we arrived, *do the bobsled experience (if it's the season)- yes, it's expensive, but where else are you going to bobsled an Olympic bobsled course!

T O.

Yelp
It's a great experience to go throughout the museum. Loved to see the athletes practice especially the ski jumps.

Sara M.

Yelp
We made it a point to visit the park during our day in Park City. Unfortunately, the weather made it a bit less exciting that we had hoped. We had planned to do the chair lift and zip lining, but all activities were closed due to the extreme wind and rain. Thankfully, we were able to explore the two-story museum they have on display at no charge. That took about an hour and was very interesting! The grounds are beautiful, and it was neat to see all the Olympic treasures left behind from 21 years ago. If you're in town, it's definitely worth the visit!

Jerry H.

Yelp
You don't really have to spend money to enjoy this place. They have some great things you can pay for but you can also tour for free on your own. You can get right up to the bobsled while others are riding it. You can watch the training skiers and walk through the museum all for free. Going down the bobsled is only $100 and we may end up doing that next time. Great visit!

Shelley D.

Yelp
Came here for a conference and it was super interesting to learn more about the Olympics at the museum. Saw an aerial show where they ski into a pool which was really cool too. Would be quite a trek without a rental car.

Thomas H.

Yelp
Had a great time e on the Bobsled experience. We made it down the track 58.37 seconds. Really fun experience. Sort of expensive, but worth it to try once. Staff was great

Hayley G.

Yelp
What a fun place!! There are so many options with different outdoor activities to do during the summer. This is a good place to take the kids or family or people just visiting.

Jeff C.

Yelp
This place was much cooler than I anticipated when I first decided to visit. Appropriate for families and locals as well as tourists. The museums are free (consider donating!) and cover both the history of skiing in Utah as well as the Olympics in Utah. There is a souvenir shop, info guides, and even a café (closed when I went). Out back are the bobsled run and ski training areas. If you weren't able to attend the Olympics in 2002 in person, this is the next best thing! The skiing section of the museum showed past and present ski fashions, equipment changes over time, a cool Google Earth-driven Utah ski resort exploration guide, a Utah ski hall of fame. and much more. Upstairs, the Olympic hall gave a phenomenal recap of 2002 and what it meant to Utah. See actual medals and the cast from which they were made, the entire Olympic pin collection, gear used by the athletes, incredible photography of the events and tons more -- you can even get your picture taken holding an Olympic torch.

Nicole E.

Yelp
Several parking spots along the way to the ski museum for some photo opps for the ski runs from the Olympics. Some walking or hiking to get closer to the runs, although much of the paths closer are fenced off. Don't park by the Olympic hotel, no good views of the ski runs from there at all. Still a nice stop.

Jeremy S.

Yelp
Came here for their bobsled experience. A bit pricey for a quick ride ($200), but after doing it I'd say definitely worth it. Feels a bit like a roller coaster with very intense g-forces. Think it gets close to 70 mph on a 25% shorter run they do for the pros. Really fun to have the experience and get a rough sense of what being a real bobsleder might be like.

Cyn H.

Yelp
It was about $75 per person for an afternoon of rope courses and zip lines and tubing and other fun, activities. Well worth the price for adventure! And we got to watch kids skiing off the ramps into a giant pool. Will do every time I visit Park City!

Alexis R.

Yelp
We enjoyed the indoor museum celebrating the 2002 Winter Olympics as well as Winter Olympics in general. We also were able to see some skiers practice their jumps into the pool, which was pretty neat! We did opt to try the summer bobsled, which we thought was worth the price as it was a unique experience.

Andy L.

Yelp
The workers are very friendly! This was my first time here since moving to Utah. Work gave me some free passes to try it out. My friend and I really enjoyed it. The only issue for me was the lines do tend to get a little long. But for safety reasons, I understand.

Shannon S.

Yelp
This place is definitely a hidden gem! We accidentally stumbled across it but had so much fun. Price is totally reasonable.

Winlee W.

Yelp
Very cool place to visit any time of year while in Park City. Although during winter (when there's snow) I think they practice some of the non-water jumps. In the summer you can see the athletes practicing their tricks into the pool and even check out bobsledding practice, (or try it yourself, for a price!). Spent a couple of hours here, outside and inside. Obviously scoping out the jumps and inside at the ski museum (first floor) and Olympic museum (2nd floor). In the ski museum you can try out your skills at virtual ski jumping, which was not at all easy although fun! The place wasn't very busy, which was nice because it's kind of small. They require masks in the museums because of the close quarters. By far, the Olympics museum was the coolest. It showcases the Winter Olympics when they had them in Salt Lake City years ago and was very well done. Check this place out if you are here in the summer or just want a small break from the slopes while you're here in winter.

Jynae C.

Yelp
My family recently visited the park....what an amazing experience and an adventure-packed day! We started our day with an 11am tour with Danny. She did an amazing tour and it was awe-inspiring to hear about the various Olympic events and actually stand and be where only athletes would get to go. The tour was an hour long. We the had a couple hours to spare while we waited to begin our Gold Pass adventures. We took the time to go through the free museum where we learned a lot and saw a lot of memorabilia throughout the years. We did the VR experiences which was awesome as well! We had some lunch from the 2nd floor café' while we watched athletes practicing their free style skiing into the huge pool. We could've sat and watched this action all day as it's truly unique. We were early enough to see a USA team athlete practicing his jumps...so fun! At 2pm our Gold Pass began and we spent the next 3.5 hours experiencing all the things. We were risk takers and tried all the extreme activities and the not so extreme. You definitely need to be somewhat in shape to do a lot of walking, hiking, and being able to participate in the activities...they're not for the faint of heart, but there is something for everyone, even if you are just hanging out to watch others or wait on your family to do things you may not be able to do. We would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone and we're hoping the winter Olympics will return there in 2030 or 2034. So so awesome with unforgettable memories made. Next time...we do the Bobsled!

Erin J.

Yelp
I just love this place. I think we've done every experience here and have enjoyed each one. This time we did the bobsled experience and let me tell you...it was worth every penny. Price is pretty steep ($170 for two people for only one minute of fun) but it was so freaking cool. Only two bobsled tracks in the entire US and park city has one of them. It was awesome. The instructors/workers were so informative and made you feel extremely safe, also while explaining all the risks involved.

Pam D.

Yelp
We concur with all of the others that were surprised at how interesting this place is! It has ski fashion history, actual ski and board equipment from decades past, snow science exhibits, avalanche science exhibits, Olympic memorabilia. Lot's of places say they're "interactive", and this one really is! We took the tour of the facility as well and loved it! They drive you up to see where the Skeleton, Luge and Bobsleds take off from, and the place where big air ski flying takes off. You can also see the jumps and pool athletes train in. Tickets for the tour sell out, so plan in advance. Tannen is a fantastic guide. Best of luck to Utah for the 2034 Winter Olympics!

Tish G.

Yelp
In 2002, Utah hosted the world for the Olympic Winter Games and the Paralympic Winter Games. This park is a remnant of those games. There is a museum on site (closes at 6 or 7pm daily). While we were at the park, we saw that Flying All-Stars Show. The show was very good and featured former and future hopeful Olympians performing acrobatic acts while soaring, twisting, and and flipping into the park's Spence Eccles Olympic Freestyle Pool. If you are in the area it's a great show to catch. Even in the summer, you probably should wear a jacket though, as it got pretty cool towards the end of the 30 minute show.

Mildred O.

Yelp
If you're in Park City, UT during summer/early fall then check out the Olympic Park with your family. It was nice to see Utah reusing the space instead of letting it be rundown. The bobsled run was already sold out on a Friday afternoon, but we paid $50 each to ride the extreme alpine sled, 2-extreme tubing runs, and extreme zip lining. This is unlimited rides in a 3-hour period. You took the chairlift up to the rides. There is some hiking involved to certain tubing locations. You have to wear closed toe shoes & you cannot bring purses/backpacks so you have to hang it by chairlift area. The walk to/from parking to chairlift area is steep and can get tiring.

Sara B.

Yelp
Well this for sure was an absolute surprise. It was recommended by literally EVERYONE that found out we were going to Park City. Many friends told me that you could bobsled and you CAN but only during certain times of the year! However, we were lucky enough to watch the ski jumpers training! We booked ahead online directly through their website as we only had a limited time in Park City and I didn't want to miss out. It was the original site for the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games which they have now converted into a museum, training facility as well as a whole slew of adventure activities: bobsled, zipline, canyon course, discovery course, extreme tubing, alpine slide and airbag jumps. We opted to do the guided tour at $15 per adults (13 and up) and $12 for Seniors or 12 and under. I do recommend the tour as they actually take you to the top of where the bobsleds launch and the ski jumpers and you get pretty close, plus to learn the history and training required of these Olympians is fantastic.

Katherine Y.

Yelp
Our visit to the Olympic park was epic! The museum has lots of cool exhibits. We joined the Olympic tour. Guess what! Our guide was part of the US Olympic team that just came back from Beijing!! How cool it is to have an Olympic team member to show you ski jumping! Seriously!!! This was a once in a lifetime experience. We learnt so much!

Polina W.

Yelp
If you are asking yourself whether a stop here is worth it, I'll tell you it sure is! We decided on a tour of the Olympic Park since our kiddos are a bit young and short and lightweight for the activities. The tour is 1 hour and by micro bus, with stops to stretch your legs. You get to see where skiers start their jumps, and the route for bobsledding. I also had no idea how skiers actually practice year round, and was able to witness it here! There are a lot of activities that can be done, like zipline and the bobsled experience, so you will find something to enjoy here.

Ellen S.

Yelp
If in Park City, this is a once in a lifetime activity center that is worth a visit. We did the bobsledding experience one day ... which is a one and done in the hour you book for. It's about a 60 second ride, going up to 70mph. The driver is a pro as the advice is to watch the driver's head ... if it moves a little to the right, move yours a little to right, etc. Our guy stayed straight the entire time. It was intense. Good to have a strong core as you're trying to keep yourself in the proper posture throughout the ride. Felt a little dizzy and motion sick after exiting the bobsled, but that's because it's a really intense, fun ride. The next day we did the golden pass - 3.5 hours to take advantage of the majority of activities they have there, minus the bobsled and zipline tour. The extreme zip has you go 55mph dropping 40 stories over 1442 feet. Fun, not scary. The alpine slide is enjoyable and you control the speed. you need to lean in forward with your body to go fast which wasn't fully shared at the 'orientation.' I didn't figure it out until curve #7 so it was a pretty conservative ride. If you figure it out early, it's a blast. The extreme tubing was the best. You have to take the k64 first and then go go down the k90. You are whizzing down that hill! The k64 is more bumpy so you feel it more. The k90 is crazy fast and such a thrill for speedsters. it felt intense as you see yourself flying down the ramp. It's a much smoother ride as you are going speeds of up to 50MPH. Definitely as must experience The kids did the airbag jump at 5, 10 and 15 feet. Again, you need to do the 5 before the 10 and the 10 before the 15 feet jump. It's seriously intimating. the drop tower is also fun... you need to take a zip line to get to the platform and then the only way down is to do one of the 2 free form fall. I'd recommend going during the morning slots as there's no shade in the high desert and it gets hot. Wear sneakers/closed toe shoes, pack sunscreen and drink plenty of water! This is a must visit if you like adventure.

Teresa F.

Yelp
If you're a fan of Winter sports or the Olympics, this is a must see. The park itself is stunningly beautiful and the museum is fascinating. In addition to the museum, you can ride a bob sled, a zip line or any number of other exciting outdoor activities at this site. The museum has displays of old skis and snowboards as well as outfits worn over the years. There is a display showing how the Olympic medals are made and virtual activities that you can pay ($5 I think) to participate in. The museum is free and the outdoor activities have individual prices.

Joyce T.

Yelp
It's free. There are 2 floors of a museum with fun interactive views and skiiing scenes. (This part is temporarily closed due to Covid) Short but sweet tour of the Olympics, skiing outfits and info on participants and the city. There is a cafe there. Social distancing is practiced here. They even have complimentary face masks. Walking the grounds was interesting. Wish we could've had access to the upper mountainous areas.

C P.

Yelp
The rides were very fun but the wait times were way too long. We only had access to the park from 2-5:30 pm; went on a Thursday. The wait times for nearly all rides were between 20 - 45 minutes; outside if the Discovery Ropes Course. With having such a limited access window we felt the wait times were far too long to be able to make use of our Gold Pass. A few tips: there were concessions on site and prices were very reasonable. There was a water bottle refilling station. Do not bring a backpack as you cannot take it on the rides; we kept call phones a credit card and car key in a zipped front pocket and had zero issues on any rides. Although our family had a great time I cannot recommend the park when comparing the experience, the wait times, and the overall cost of the Gold Passes.

Yelp
OLYMPIC PARK SALT LAKE UTAH Is there a ZERO ? Because I would really like my $170 back please. We visited on Tuesday 19th July 2022. If your only wish to read two lines this is a NO, it's overpriced, old, UN-SAFE, dirty (the only trash in Utah we saw was actually here) and we encountered clueless, disrespectful rude Teenager Employees here. 2 pm - 5.30 at $85 a ticket and three activities later it was over. EVERYWHERE else we went in Salt lake was a gorgeous memory and wonderful experience. Do not spend your money here. This was supposed to be our highlight, the most expensive day in Salt Lake Utah - the day I'd saved up for my 12 year old son to let loose and be able to brag to his friends back home inTexas about what he'd done. At 95 lbs, age 12, five foot tall, very athletic, he rides horses and can already drive a car - he wasn't allowed to do much and what he did do we waited in line for 30 to 60 minutes only to be mildly impressed and me secretly heartbroken for him. In fact I am tearful writing this as if you knew the amount of effort I went to to get my only child to this remote expensive place as a single Mum you'd be emotional too... What a terrible flop.

Mike V.

Yelp
Olympic history AND present sporting activity! - - - - - - - - November, 2022 Visit For Thanksgiving we visited Park City, UT and had a great time. - - - - - - - - Watching Team USA Bobsledding It happened that there were bobsledding runs happening the week we were there (some BMW-sponsored competition was the following weekend), so we visited. That afternoon the bobsled run (track) was covered with canvases for most of the run... only for ~ 100 feet of so was the track visible to us spectators... and in that time the 78-80 mph bobsleds zipped past in 1.5-2 seconds... so you needed to be quick to see, video and photograph them. Impressive runs by the four-man and two-woman teams. Way to go Team USA. - - - - - - - - Touring the Museum The next day my wonderful wife dropped our son and daughter off at Park City Mountain and went back to Olympic Park to tour the Alf Engel Ski Museum, and the 2002 Olympic Museum The ski museum has - information about Alf Engel, apparently one of the most influential skiers in America ever, whose impact was especially strong in the 1930s and 1940s - many kinds of skis and related items to see - A section about some of the science of snow - align the screen on temperature and humidity and see how the typical snowflake shape is only for the wetter, warmer-temperature snow, and much of the rest of the flakes are more tubular or disc-like in shape - In the movie room, we saw three short films: - Australia winning Gold in Women's Freestyle in 2002 - Matt Shimer and five Olympics for bobsledding to get Bronze in 2002 and the other Team USA sled took silver... Germany gold and Switzerland fourth - Utah ski history... we learned that... - In the 1930s the only two ski lifts west of the Mississippi were Sun Valley, ID and Alta, UT - Skiing started by Scandinavians working the mines, to get around in the snow - Utah started ski jumping events in the 1930s - Tow ropes started on the 1930s, before ski lifts - Ski boots - first to have hard shell with custom inserts Heidi - thank you for your insights and for welcoming us ----- ----- -----

Yelp
Really a fun, family friendly place to spend a day. Lots to do. We even saw a 78 year old grandpa jumping off stuff with his grandkids! Ropes courses, zip lines, crazy summer tubing. Staff was so friendly and kind. Place is clean and nice to walk around. You can watch kids practice their ski jumping at the pool as well.

Tommy C.

Yelp
This place is super fun! Understaffed in areas so there were waits in the lines for tubing. But all around a great place for a family to visit. We did the Gold Pass and then came back in the evening for the Flying Aces show which was incredible!

James M.

Yelp
Pretty cool spot to spend an hour or two learning about the history of UAP aka Utah Olympic Park. Free parking, free museum entrance. Bobsledding sounds incredible; unfortunately, that wasn't available during my visit around Thanksgiving. It would have been neat to see some practice jumps. Perhaps another time.

Debi W.

Yelp
This was such a fun park to visit. Very interactive allowing you to experience the Olympic on a new level. Plenty of parking too. When the pandemic is over this museum will shine all the more.

Dee H.

Yelp
OMG we had sooo much fun. Staff here were fabulous and things to do were a plenty... wish we had more time. Didn't get to the rope climbs even. Did the alpine slides, zip lines, and tube rides. An experience we will always remember. Warning- BRING SUNSCREEN

Mary D.

Yelp
There are free options and tours and other opportunities for those who might have the time. We were on a limited schedule but saw some training and it was great to see where the Winter Olympics were held.

Priya K.

Yelp
This is such a fun place for all ages! Highly recommend the all day gold pass ($80), 10% off if you buy online in advance. Lots of fun activities including zip lines, tubing, obstacle courses, drop tower, air bag jump. We were lucky to see the Olympic athletes perform the freestyle show (included in the all day gold pass) Ziplines has weight limit, extreme ziplines are for 100 lb (highly recommend) plus but under 100 lbs can do the freestyle zip which is great fun also. Extreme tubing K64 is for 10 and above and there is another k90 tubing for 13 and above. The scenic airlifts take you to the attractions and are also included in the gold pass. Clean restrooms, snack bar in the museum and ice creams at the souvenir store keeps you going. Parking is free and despite a busy Saturday, didn't have a problem finding a good spot.

Yelp
Matthew Mateo saved us during the obstacle course! He came and helped myself (an adult) and my two children. He guided us and protected us. He is awesome! We are so grateful for him!!! We had a blast at the park. Highly recommend. And thanks for people like Matthew!

Yelp
We had a marvelous time at the Alf museum. It truly puts us into the Olympic spirit! We tried the ski jump simulator, with mixed results. Lol We came back the next day for the official tour. Well, we were not disappointed! Ann was a wonderful curator during the tour. She had wonderful official as well as colloquial knowledge she imparted upon us. KUDOS for recognizing the OM Wiener Mobile from as far up as the k90 ski jump area. All in all, a wonderful experience! Thank you, Ann!

Yelp
We visited this summer and bought the golf pass for our kids. We all had a blast challenging ourselves on the ropes courses, alpine slide, tube ramps, and zip lines.

Yelp
If you are traveling to the Park City/Salt Lake City area during the warmer, snowless months of the year, check out the Utah Olympic Park. I did not check out any of their winter options or if they even have any. I would assume they have some options to cater to that time of the year. We visited at the end of August, we just missed the opportunity for the bobsled by a week. We purchased a pass to have access to all the areas open at the park - alpine slide, zip lines, challenge course, extreme tubing. My husband and I always look for a fun/adventure type activity on vacations and this fit. There is also a small Olympic museum onsite. They also have a freestyle show at 6pm most nights of the week during the warm months. We were able to watch some of their warm up session since we visited in the afternoon. It looked really cool. The alpine slide was my favorite. The extreme tubing was intense, but exhilarating. I'm surprised I even did them. The zip wasn't anything special, but still worth a ride. I thought the challenge course was pretty challenging even as an adult. I would say the park caters to the teenage to young adult crowd most, but all the activities are family friendly. Cost per ticket was on the high end as expected for a popular tourist attraction. Purchase tickets ahead of time on their website. They have busy times of the year - June and July - which sell out days in advance.

Yelp
This place is awesome! Not only you can personally tour some of the facilities used in 2002 Winter Olympics, you can also see freestyle ski jumpers practicing by the pool or visit the Winter Olympics museum - all for free! In addition, you can book some experiences such as a bobsled ride, curling lessons, or biathlon practice. If anything, spending time here would make you want to go to the actual Winter Olympics and see everything for yourself.
