Utengule Coffee Lodge is a truly wonderful destination! The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, super clean and well decorated. The service is superb, all the staff is friendly and professional. The food is a real plus. The menu has many options and all dishes and cocktails are fresh and delicious. The coffee is the best ever! The location and the view are amazing. The lodge is nestled in lush natural environment and offer a tranquil, secluded experience on the Rift Valley. The coffee farm tour is an authentic and super interesting experience. From the lodge you can quite easily reach the Lake Nyasa and Kitulo National park. For sure I couldn't have chosen a better destination for my Xmas Holidays and I hope I'll be back soon to this paradise. Thank you to the entire Utengule family you made me feel at home.

I had a perfect holiday at Utengule Coffee Lodge. The place is very calm, the staff and owners were amazing, and the views were stunning! rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious. I still remember the cappuccino and latte, so tasty! The coffee tour around the farm was an incredible experience, and I loved learning about the coffee varieties grown and roasted there.I will surely be back.

The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming and make you feel at home from the very first moment.||💡 pro tip: If you’re a light sleeper, bring your Oropax, as the surrounding wildlife can be a little noisy at night 😉

Utengule Coffee Lodge is a truly special place. Set amidst stunning coffee plantations and rolling hills, it offers a peaceful, beautiful atmosphere that instantly helps you unwind. The rooms are comfortable and thoughtfully designed, the food is excellent, and the coffee is outstanding. What really makes the stay memorable is the incredibly warm and attentive staff. A perfect retreat and an easy place to fall in love with.

We visited the place for lunch on a weekend, the food, I can’t fault; the environment. Amazing but the customer service particularly from the reception staff was terrible. Definitely putting this in the category of hotels that treat you based on the assumption of how you look at first glance.

Am oasis in the beautiful surroundings of Mbeya, you can do a trip to Kitulo from here or book the interesting tour in the coffee plantation. More expensive than most accomodation in the region but very luxurious.

Utengule Country lodge is a wonderful place in a beautiful setting. Driving there on the sometimes difficult road is absolutely worth it! |The rooms (also the cheaper ones) are very nice and clean. The food is delicious. The staff is lovely, mostly young Tanzanians, very friendly and helpful. |You can also visit the nearby coffee plantation, which is definitely worth it and really interesting

We travelled 9 months through South and East Africa and camped here for some days as backpackers. It was really one of the most welcoming places, we were grateful for the hospitality. Never camped on a helicopter field before 😄. I was really happy to find some tasty vegan food and the 'Africas Wildest' is seriously the best coffee I ever had!
