Room with a beautiful view, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast and very friendly staff. A successful holiday!

I gave location three because the view is fabulous but getting there a bit of a drive to the middle of nowhere.

Great breakfast, rooms are average but very clean. Good location with great views. The internet is terrible, very very slow and crashes a lot.

Stopped with family for dinner. Hotel located in VERY beautiful place and have spectacular view. Lobby is really clean and nice. Food was delicious. Staff was really friendly and they let us have our dog with on the terrace of the restaurant.

||We stayed here for four nights, in connection with a conference we were attending in the area. This is a lovely, modern and fresh hotel with great views from the front. Here are the main points.||Location: Up a hill from the local village of Kvinesdal, on a main road which is not so busy. Plenty of free car parking and great views over the valley below. You would need a car to get to and from the village centre.||Reception: Always friendly and helpful when approached, excellent service from a young lady who we discovered was from Scotland.||Room: We had booked a superior room. This faced the front of the hotel but the expected view from our room was largely blocked by a house across the road, this was a disappointment as we were expecting a room with a view. The room was fine, the bed was very comfortable and had a nice shower room. Hanging space for clothes was minimal, it would have been nice to have a cupboard and some drawers, especially for a four night stay. Cheaper, economy rooms are also available at the back, overlooking the car park.||Breakfast: Great selection, served downstairs in the reception area. Self service with plenty of choice.||Conclusion: An excellent choice in the Kvinesdal area. Clean, modern and well run, friendly staff and a great breakfast. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Utsikten Hotel. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and they took great care of us. Our room had a fabulous view and it was so nice to open the doors and enjoy the fresh air. The breakfast buffet was fabulous, and I enjoyed relaxing in the grassy area near the museum.

Great food perfect location. Near to gold course and near to the town.

The fjord view is spectacular, with the sun moving around and the light changing the appearance of the water and the surrounding mountains. The hotel itself is pleasant and quiet. The restaurant has that beautiful view, as well. The breakfast buffet was decent. And the kitchen in our apartment was well-equiped.
