We went with my husband to have dinner for my birthday, and unfortunately we had mixed feelings about the experience.
We ordered two starters and two mains, but the dishes arrived in a very unusual order: first one main, then a starter, then another starter, and finally the remaining main. This felt strange, as we expected the courses to be served in a proper sequence to enjoy the tasting experience.
The food itself was good, but the overall atmosphere felt a bit uncomfortable. The person attending us behaved in a rather odd way, which made us feel uneasy during the dinner.
As it was my birthday, my husband kindly asked the staff if they had a birthday candle. They literally brought us just a candle and a lighter, without any dessert or small gesture. We would have been more than happy to pay for a small cake or cookie, as is common in many restaurants, but nothing was offered.
Considering this restaurant is Michelin recommended, the overall experience felt underwhelming. The food was good but not outstanding, and the service was quite strange. There are other places with better service and a more enjoyable dining experience.
