Uvedoble Taberna

Absolutely the best restaurant in Málaga. We set at the bar and had excellent service and the food was yummy. We love our food and this place is a step up from the usual tapas places in the centre and good value for money. The highlights we had were the fideos negros, the tatakide atún rojo and the canellon de chivo.

Food was so delicious that we went twice. Place is quite busy so if you come at peak times you may have to wait to be seated. We ordered the ropaviejo tacos which were especially delicious but the barbecue ribs(pictured), fries, croquettes, and the brioche bun with pulled pork was delicious too. We also got the chocolate coulant with mandarin ice cream and it was also nice although the orange sorbet could have been more creamy to pair with the chocolate better.

While in search for a good lunch in Malaga, we decided to check this place out. Waiters were very friendly and efficient, operated quickly. Food was very delicious, however the portion sizes were smaller than expected. Seems like most people around came here for the wine, not to eat. Nevertheless, the seafood was great quality and so were the meats. However, there weren't any options for vegetarians.

Went for appies and a drink in the evening. We were lucky to get an incredible waiter, Santiago. He made a series of recommendations based on a quick conversation. The food was spectacular! Every dish was full of incredible flavours and textures. We had brioche pork, lamb and couscous , octopus and chorizo, truffle potato and egg and bread. I would recommend this place if you love high quality food. I will be back again and again. So lucky to find a restaurant with a focus on culinary excellence. Do not miss

Super tasty tapas and well priced. Enjoyed the black toasted noodles with aioli and seared tuna in cauliflower puree. Would go back again!

I really loved the contemporary tapas here and the location is also amazing with terrace views on the Alcazaba! The only negative thing was the staff, I had a very unfriendly waiter whose English was very limited but maybe I just had a bad day… the food is definitely worth a visit!

Quite an original menu. They make very interesting dishes. Some of the bold recipes we tried were not to our taste, but the quince cream salad and octopus roll are a must try. Service was excellent and the prices were reasonable.
