Inside UXUA Hotel's Experimental Food Lab in Brazil

We are in Brazil for our honeymoon and are staying at the Uxua hotel. I will review that separately, but we ate dinner at the restaurant our first night and it’s spectacular. It’s been by far our best meal in Trancoso and the service (just like inside the hotel) is spectacular. The drinks are also amazing as well. We highly recommend eating here and there is enough variety on the menu to repeat many times.

TRULY AMAZING MEAL- we were very excited to try this restaurant and it exceeded our expectations. We had several appetizers and then split the Fish of the day and the Seafood Stew. Every dish was delicious. Great portion sizes. The staff could not have been more helpful and were so nice. Beautiful nighttime ambiance.

Only came here for a drink but I loved they served Brazilian sparkling Chandon. The ambience was lovely, al fresco dining like everywhere in the region with lots of attention to detail in the decor.

Sobremesa “bolo de coco” era uma tosta com manteiga e coco por cima. A beterraba estava dura e mal assada. Tiravam os pratos sem termos acabado de comer. Mas os 10% de serviço não se esquecem de cobrar. Não recomendo nem volto a ir.
