Located at Gogol Street with lots of offerings around, super easy to get anything you want. Hotel is old but very well maintained, tip top cleanliness. Breakfast was great too, definitely recommend to anyone whom love to experience authentic Kazakh’s hospitality (which means, less friendly compare to SEA but i guess thats the Kazakh’s way)

Every time I travel to Almaty, I would stay here. Excellent stay with excellent service, particularly at the restaurant, where the man and woman serving are amazing. I can't say enough good things about them because they work there all day. The two were kind and gave off the impression that they genuinely cared about the visitors' comfort and well-being. Good breakfast every day as well, with many of choices for everyone. Outstanding value.

very nice experience at Hotel Uyut, Almaty. Stayed here for a total of 4 nights in the month of May and was very enjoyable Great location, Nice rooms, Great shower area. My wife and son enjoyed this place. Lot of good restaurants nearby. One improvement area can be more vegetarian options in breakfast

Average, wouldn’t say it’s 4 stars. Well priced. But the room was missing consumables, only 1 towel, 500ml of water, limited soap and gel. Check out process took far too long. Have never experienced having to wait 20 minutes to leave a hotel

Would stay here every time I visit Almaty. Outstanding stay with great service, especially at the restaurant, the man and woman working the service are fantastic, and I can't say enough about these two working there all day. The two were well mannered and felt like they actually cared about the guests being well and comfortable. Nice daily breakfast too with plenty of options for anyone. Excellent value.

Way too hot in the room! It was unseasonably mild (in the 20s) and the hotel were reluctant to turn the central heating off. Room was unbearable at times as they wouldn’t issue air con remotes but did send maintenance up to switch central heating off after asking more than once as radiators in rooms didn’t have valves. Bathroom heated rail wasn’t switched off so it was uncomfortable. Too noisy outside to open windows at night for lengthy periods. Breakfast was fine and staff were friendly enough. A good base to explore the wonderful city.

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a pleasant experience. The staff were helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. We especially appreciated being able to store our luggage when we went out of town for a tour of the canyon and lakes — a thoughtful gesture that made things easier for us. The breakfast was decent, and the location is excellent — right in the heart of the city. While it’s not very close to a metro station, cabs are easily available and affordable. I also needed to take a few printouts during the trip, and the hotel’s printer facility was made available free of charge, which was a nice touch. There are plenty of grocery stores, restaurants, and ATMs nearby. Plus, Arbat Street is just a short walk away — a lively area that completely transforms at night with music, dance, and vibrant street life.

The hotel location is very convenient and you can get city buses near the hotel. It takes around 40-45 mins to reach the hotel from the airport. We were a group of 8 people and had 4 different rooms. All our rooms were decent with big windows giving a view of the city. The junior suite rooms are quite spacious. The staff is generally cooperative however only limited staff can speak and understand english. The breakfast menu is same everyday and has only a few options for vegetarian people. There is a convenience store just next to the hotel and also a couple of forex vendors nearby. Overall, I can recommend this hotel if you are planning to visit Almaty.
