V-Hotel

Friendly staff, lovely location and great rooms, would have been 5 stars but no connecting rooms and no extra bed makes it difficult for families of 5.

Dear Management of the V-Hotel, For over a decade, I have been a loyal guest at your establishment – despite the fact that your hotel lacks both a 24-hour reception and a restaurant. But hey, I’m nothing if not easy-going. Recently, I had the pleasure of sitting down at a fantastic Italian restaurant with our CEO (a rare guest, mind you) and my new boss (yes, new boss). It was late – around 9 PM – which, for a business traveler looking for a moment to unwind, is hardly an unusual time for dinner. We had just been served our starters when the drama began: a call from your hotel, insisting we immediately complete the registration process. Yes, immediately. Now, I understand the importance of formalities, but the circumstances were crystal clear: I politely requested an exception, explaining that I was a longstanding guest and would gladly finalize the registration upon arrival. The response? A firm, uncompromising NO. No “let’s see what we can do,” no “we’ll try to find a solution.” Just a hard, frosty NO. But wait, there’s more. I was unequivocally told that unless the registration was completed by 10 PM, I would be charged for all three rooms, and we would not receive any key cards. So, there I was, in the middle of what should have been a pleasant evening, fumbling with my smartphone to send contact details to the hotel, waiting for responses, and then battling with your state-of-the-art registration forms – which crashed after every third input. This ordeal, by the way, had to be repeated multiple times for all three of us. Meanwhile, our fine dining starters were busy transitioning from “delicious” to “inedible.” In all my years of traveling, I have never encountered such unfriendly, inflexible, and downright customer-hostile treatment. And this from a hotel where I have spent countless nights and, frankly, probably sent more colleagues, friends, and clients than I ever stayed myself. What an absolute disgrace. Conclusion: Not another penny, not another dime (or pfennig, if anyone still remembers those), and certainly not another second of my time will be wasted on your hotel.

Great hotel. This time we stayed in the Junior Suite. |The difference with the standard room is the wider bed (180 versus 160) and more square meters. It also includes a nespresso machine and complimentary coffee cups. All rooms have a mini bar and complementary drinks. (Daily refill).|Our suite had a view on the forest. Great comfortable bed and quiet room. The hotel is located in a quiet environment.||Keep in mind that the shower and the sink are in the same area as your bed. You have no privacy of a separate room. For us no problem, if privacy is however needed, someone will need to leave the room. Toilet is off course in a separate room.||All rooms (full hotel) has free high speed internet.|The hotel offers free parking (really enough space) and they even have 2 parking spots with chargers (type 2, AC chargers from Tesla). You need to request the charging in the hotel and the cost is booked on the room.||Breakfast: one word, great. |Fresh food, good quality. Fresh juice, coffee maker (normal, espresso, cappuccino, latte Macchiato, Ice coffee, …). Also healthy options are available and local (sometimes even self made) products.||All persons working at the hotel are polity and really helpful. They will always try to help. The hotel is also pride on their ecological footprint.||We will return.|Yes there are cheaper hotels available but they do not offer the same complete package and quality for us. If a quiet, comfortable sleep, clean rooms and great breakfast are important, don’t hesitate.

We stayed here for New Years weekend hoping to get away from fireworks. We stayed in the Little Red Riding Hood treehouse and it was lovely. The winding stairs going up can be a workout with luggage so pack light. The view from the large window is nice with the trees and cars going by. It was surprisingly warm with the floor heating. The rain shower was a good size. I wish the loft up top had something more. The bean bag up there was stained so we didn’t really use it. There is a hot water kettle and stocked mini fridge in the treehouse. Breakfast was good and a nice variety. Dogs are allowed in the hotel but the treehouse. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and only takes 20 minutes into the city center. The hotel has its own parking lot with electric charging. It was loud during New Years with the fireworks and church bells but overall a nice stay.

Have stayed here many times over the years. Rooms are small but stylish and clean. Lovely breakfast but no other meals served unless here for a meeting package. Nestled in a residential area - prices have crept up over the years but a lovely cosy stay

Stayed in the Red Riding Hood treehouse room for our honeymoon and it was delightful! The view was lovely and the upper floor accessible via a ladder was cool. The decor in the main hotel is a cool mix of pop art and fantasy/traditional. The service was very accommodating and our breakfast was delicious! I'd highly recommend it for any couple looking for a hotel with a unique vibe.

Next door to the youth hostel in woods and served by the bus no 600 from Bonn. In my view this is a lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Room overlooking the woods with small terrace and free [limited] mini bar. Very comfortable bed and pleasant breakfast where eggs can be freshly cooked. ||||Huge dog [friendly] may not be to everyone's taste but I thought it excellent. I thought that I heard owls in the wood [and indeed there may be] but it was in fact a cuckoo clock in the breakfast room some distance away!

I loved this hotel and will definitely go back. The hotel is very modern. The rooms are small but perfectly formed. The bathroom products are lovely. ||The hotel contains original artwork, which is actually graffiti, but it contributes to a modern look without being at all degrading. The hotel has funky art touches everywhere from wall hanging pieces to bits of furniture. ||All the food is locally sourced and to a very high standard. And they produce their own special butter which I would recommend with the steak. It sounds trivial but it was delicious. ||They also have some tree houses which I wish I'd stayed in.... will try those next time! ||

Got here late at night, and almost missed checking-in (the front desk closes at 11 PM). The room was very modern, and a really good layout. Our room faced the woods, so we had a nice view of the forest. They have an amazing continental breakfast featuring cheese, meat, fresh bread, yogurt, and an egg station. The service was friendly.

I'm obsessed with this hotel. I came here for a business trip and could not have been more pleased. The hotel is located right in the woods, which made for a really picturesque view from my room, particularly in the morning. You can even get a treehouse for your stay (I'll have to try that next time)! As a dog lover, I was so excited to see a sweet dog that roams the hotel. The room was cozy with a very comfortable bed. I appreciated that the toilet was in a separate part of the room and that the shower opened up to the room (which made it easy to change in the morning). Parking was free, which was nice. I also appreciated the free beer that they put in your fridge (and restock each day as well). Finally, the breakfast was delicious. They had hard boiled eggs, meats, cheeses, toast with a ton of different types of jams, cereal, fruit, and yogurt. They also had a really good instant coffee maker that even made espresso (yum). I would most certainly stay here again.
