⭐ 3-Star Google Review — V Hotel Dubai Curio Collection by Hilton
I stayed at the V Hotel Dubai Curio Collection by Hilton with my deaf father during the Thanksgiving holiday. I chose this property after extensive research, especially because I have a long global travel history with Hilton as a loyal Diamond member. Over the years, I’ve stayed at Hilton hotels all around the world, so I know what the standard of service and recognition should be.
Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was mixed. At check-in, there was no acknowledgment of my Diamond status — not even the traditional welcome cookies. Maybe this property offers different gifts, but Diamond is the highest tier in the Hilton program. If loyalty isn’t recognized from the very beginning, it misses the whole purpose of having a loyalty program. It left me confused and disappointed.
On the first night, we also had a bathroom drainage issue that made showering difficult. Management fixed it the following day, but it still impacted the start of our stay. The Executive Lounge had an “okay” selection of snacks and desserts, but it was limited compared to many other Hilton lounges I’ve visited worldwide.
The hotel itself is stylish with a bold, modern design, but the lack of loyalty recognition and the service inconsistencies made this stay feel below the Hilton standard I’ve known for years. Overall, I am disappointed. I will continue to travel and stay at other Hilton properties, but I’m not sure if I will be returning to this particular one.
