I spent a week at the hotel in the month of November (don't worry it was 32-35 degrees) and, to be honest, it turned out to be a really lovely experience. The rooms themselves are perfectly fine; you can tell parts of it were put together a little hastily (my bathtub couldn't drain the water), but everything is spotless and comfortable, which matters more than obsessing over tiny imperfections.
What really stands out is how convenient everything is. The wellness area, the different pools, the restaurants… it all feels close at hand. Breakfast was excellent, and the rooftop bar became my unofficial post-work ritual, the kind of place where you can exhale and pretend you’re on holiday even if you’re not.
If I had to point out one downside, it would be the location. You’re wonderfully close to La Perle, which is great if you’re into Cirque du Soleil (seriously, just book the ticket and go), but beyond that, you’ll definitely need a car. Let’s just say this isn’t a neighbourhood you casually stroll out of to “see what’s around.”
