V Spa Hotel and Conference centre

​​My wife, my child, and I spent two hours at V Spa this morning. Overall, it was a high-quality experience, though there are a few things for families and locals to keep in mind. ​The Highlights: ​Variety & Cleanliness: The center is impressively clean and offers a vast selection of saunas. ​Favorite Rituals: We particularly enjoyed the Finnish sauna followed by the cold water plunge. The mineral jacuzzi was also a standout for pure relaxation. ​Family Friendly: The kids' area is well-designed and kept our little one entertained throughout the session. ​Smart Facilities: The changing rooms are exceptionally well-thought-out. A great touch is the dedicated charging lockers for mobile phones, allowing you to top up your battery securely while you enjoy the water. ​Areas for Improvement: ​The Price Point: At 78 EUR for a 2-hour family visit, it feels quite pricey compared to the local market. ​The "Extras": It was disappointing to find that despite the high entry fee, the infrared sauna, UV sessions, and fitness area required additional payments. At this price point, you’d expect a more inclusive "all-access" feel. ​Local Loyalty: As residents of Tartu, we would love to see a yearly subscription or a loyalty program. It’s a great facility, but a more accessible price tier for locals would make us much more likely to return frequently

The hotel and spa are up to standard. But considering the price of the entire stay and spa, check-in could be possible earlier than 4:00 PM. So that you can enjoy the spa longer and have time to have dinner.||||The spa was very crowded on Saturday night, but there was still room in each sauna.||For slightly older children, there are no more attractions besides the circulating water. A slide would make them happy.

The greatest spa I’ve ever been to! Large options of sauna, outside jacuzzi, hammams, pools… what do you need more ? 😍 The explanations next to the installations were also very nice. Towels available for sauna Very clean Reasonable price The space sauna ceremony was also very inventive and great. The ceremony master was very good. It was a perfect experience at V Spa that it deserves one 11/10!

On January 9th, I had a massage appointment scheduled for 6:30 PM. It was my first visit, and I wasn’t familiar with how to get to the spa. I entered through the hotel entrance instead of the shopping mall. At the reception desk, a man named Algar told me that I had to go through the shopping mall instead. I tried to explain that I had recently given birth and that I am currently limping and experiencing severe pain in my legs. Walking a long distance is very uncomfortable for me. It was also –15°C outside, and I really did not want to go back outside again. I politely asked if he could escort me or arrange for someone to take me through the hotel directly to the spa. I could clearly see that there was an elevator in the hotel that goes directly to the spa area. However, I was simply refused. There was absolutely no willingness to help, no empathy, and no understanding at all. This was especially shocking because I explained that I came for a massage specifically due to severe leg pain and limping. My condition was completely ignored.

Perfect SPA for small kids, big area with saunas a large selection. It's good that everything is in one building, hotel, parking, spa center, restaurant, and shopping center. You don't have to go anywhere else.

Stayed a night at the hotel during a weekend trip to Tartu. The spa is awesome, although a bit crowd during weekends. Very kid-friendly, though. The breakfast is also rich and delicious.

This hotel and spa was a true delight. The rooms are super spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable, the shower was big. There's also a towel dryer which you can use to dry your swimwear on. Plenty of storage. Breakfast was very good with many options to choose from. The spa is incredible. I have never seen such a big variety of different sauna types in one place. My favorite was the hamam. Also recommend paying a bit extra for the salt world - it was very cool to just float in the water although, I can say, to some this amount of salt can be irritating to the skin. They also offer different kinds of rituals at different saunas at different times which is a nice surprise. There's also an outside heated pool that's usually not occupied during colder seasons. Everything was super clean. It was so cool to try out different things, from heated pools to cold pools to streams to showers and so on. No weird "sweat mixed with chloride smells" that you can feel at public pools. Yes, it will be a bit loud and noisy due to constant water shower and kids. Overall great experience, highly recommend.
