My wife, my child, and I spent two hours at V Spa this morning. Overall, it was a high-quality experience, though there are a few things for families and locals to keep in mind.
The Highlights:
Variety & Cleanliness: The center is impressively clean and offers a vast selection of saunas.
Favorite Rituals: We particularly enjoyed the Finnish sauna followed by the cold water plunge. The mineral jacuzzi was also a standout for pure relaxation.
Family Friendly: The kids' area is well-designed and kept our little one entertained throughout the session.
Smart Facilities: The changing rooms are exceptionally well-thought-out. A great touch is the dedicated charging lockers for mobile phones, allowing you to top up your battery securely while you enjoy the water.
Areas for Improvement:
The Price Point: At 78 EUR for a 2-hour family visit, it feels quite pricey compared to the local market.
The "Extras": It was disappointing to find that despite the high entry fee, the infrared sauna, UV sessions, and fitness area required additional payments. At this price point, you’d expect a more inclusive "all-access" feel.
Local Loyalty: As residents of Tartu, we would love to see a yearly subscription or a loyalty program. It’s a great facility, but a more accessible price tier for locals would make us much more likely to return frequently
