What an amazing place. I love Marylebone High Street and noticed this shop in a book about London. Easy to find, just off the high street. Friendly and helpful staff. If you want some ribbon, trimmings or a hat then look no further. Every colour and width of ribbon Ive ever seen. Clearly has regular customers and I shall now be one of them when Im next in the area.

What an amazing emporium. The most fantastic range of braids and beads and frippery. Few snapshots of what was sitting by the counter but the whole store is full of reels of colour defined options. Unlimited choices. I chose a lovely braid plus a plain ribbon to make straps for a bandeau top.

V V Rouleaux is a specialty hat shop that caters to those with a creative flair. It’s a treasure trove for crafting enthusiasts looking to personalize their hats with unique trims. I found many beautiful and rare options here. However, it’s worth noting that the trims can be quite pricey.

Undoubtedly THE only ribbon shop anyone needs to visit should they be looking for any kind of haberdashery.. definitely for those that love to embellish, from original hats to beautiful flourishes for weddings, festivals, fashion shows and other special events, it’s all just incredibly magical :)

Great selection, friendly and knowledgeable/creative staff. Found the ribbon I needed for my 18th c costumingnand enjoyed watching other customers purchase ribbons and silk flowers for their hats

A super-abundant flounce of frivolous tat for all occasions. Here you’re bound to find that definitive decorative bauble, bow or ribbon. B-rim-ful, purposed and elegantly cluttered; at the cutting edge of the trim and this be no stitch up.

I have not visited the shop in person. However, I have done an online order which went seamlessly. They have a great selection of products and the website is very easy to use, delivery was prompt - no complaints! I've been speaking with Lisa at length trying to find the right trimmings for our event and she has been beyond helpful and so responsive. A really excellent company to work with and we will certainly buy from them again in the future.

Situated just off the fashionable Marylebone High Street, this little gem over two floors has everything you could ever think of adding to a hat (millinery being the main business) and then some. Expect to leave broke as you just can't resist 2m of everything in stock.... Staff willingly advise.

I am writing this review in large part through the eyes of Mrs G!!! It must truly be a unique specialist store. In a swanky part of town (Marylebone - perhaps our favorite neighborhood currently) and about 10 minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of Oxford St. It is a very inviting store in the corner very close to a favorite London restaurant of ours - the Ivy. On enterIng you are virtually bathed in ribbons, fabric, trims and everything your heart desires to design that unique hat or fascinater (I think that is the right term) for a wedding or for Royal Ascot. Owner (especially) and staff are super friendly and helpful. Downstairs lots of other crazy decorative fixings and this is the space where they run their sessions and workshops Definitely worth a visit if you are into this kind of thing - definitely the best in class! On my way to lunch I spotted the colourful ribbons in the window at V V Rouleaux and couldn't resist popping in for a look. I love tying a bit of ribbon in my ponytail and this small shop in Marylebone has an incredible selection ranging from velvet, grosgrain and gingham to striped, spotted and satin. It's also a lot cheaper than Liberty, where I did my last London ribbon buying spree. For less than £7 I got six new ribbons I'm excited to tie in my hair. V V Rouleaux is a must visit if you're into ribbons, trimmings or lace.

In these credit crunch times this gem of a shop stocks everything you need to revamp your wardrobe and your home. I'm no domestic goddess but I have always loved to customise my clothes. If you have In these credit crunch times VV Rouleaux is the perfect place to transform your plain top, jacket, dress into a one-off piece you have designed. I love butterflies and I recently added a few to the shoulder of a jumper I bought in Portobello market. Whenever I wear it I am asked where I bought it which makes me feel great. They also have some wonderful bits for the festive season including Christmas decoration and some lovely ribbons which make your presents look extra special.

I walked by this place and at the next opportunity I got to buy ribbon, went back there. So the place has any type of ribbon you could ever imagine and there are really some gorgeous ones. They also have adorable hats and little christmas tree decorations etc. I'd say my only reservation is that it IS pretty pricey. I also think they could branch out to offer some similar products like wrapping paper and baskets and lovely letter writing stuff just for more variation and to take advantage of the trade coming in.

OMG! Who knew a store like this existed? Great selection and quality on all sorts of ribbons, tassels, trimmings, hat-making supplies, doo-dads... Two floors full of the stuff, friendly and helpful staff, organized and creative displays. Plus they have classes on making stuff!

I dont think a shop assistant has ever reduced me to tears until my encounter at V V Rouleaux. As an assistant, I was buying on behalf of my boss and therefore spent almost £200 on 3 full 16m rolls ribbon. Having never been here and the place seeming rather high-end and the staff seeming extremely entitled this seemed just about acceptable. I return the next day receipt in hand ribbons untouched begging I could please return them as they were far too expensive. The american girl I was served by told me it was not her problem and that my 'little £200 transaction was nothing compared to the £1000 payments they receive' Head office have since offered a full refund and sincerest apologies for this awful individual's behaviour.

Described by some as 'The Chanel of ribbon and trimmings shops', VV Rouleaux is an opulent shop literally full to the brim with ribbons, trimmings, tassels, millinery materials and at this time of year, Christmas decorations. With hundreds of ribbons available in myriad colours, textures, widths and finishes, VV Rouleaux surely rivals any of its craft contemporaries in the sheer variety of its stock while still being accessible for the craft novice. I particularly like VV's millinery bits and bobs with which you could make a pretty spiffy fascinator for around £15. Not a bad idea for jazzing up last year's LBD during a full on financial crisis if you're so craftily inclined.
