I really enjoyed my stay at the Vaali hotel. There was always a friendly atmosphere in the hotel. The staff and owners of the hotel always smiled at us and were very welcoming. We especially remember Sushil — a very pleasant young man. The food was good: there were always salads, pasta, and fish available. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the excursion to the shipwreck and the turtle-watching experience. Our departure was early in the morning, but the staff prepared sandwiches for us in advance and said goodbye. What we liked most was that there was hot water in a thermos in the dining area, so we could always have some tea. And an important note: please be careful on the public beach — the current can sometimes be strong!

This was my 1st time in the Maldives we were diving , staying at Vaali lodge was a joy although you should manage expectations, the rooms are clean the bed is comfortable & the AC works so nothing in my book to complain about , the food was fresh & tasty all the staff were super nice & attentive although our room had no TV & I didn’t miss it at all , if you have a problem with the food Anthony the chef was super accommodating in trying to get things right one of our group taste buds were different to me & my wife but he was happy to make something different they also have a menu if you don’t like the buffet , location is close to everything has Felidhoo is very small we’d happily stay again it’s not often I’d stay in guest house setting sort of being used to big resorts but now I think I’ll be going more off the grid & to smaller places

Wonderful stay at the Vaali Maldives Island Escapes and Dive shop! Our family of 7 stayed at the Vaali in February and truly enjoyed our time with Mattei’s team. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The Vaali is located across from bikini Sandy beach with amazing coral reef and tons of marine life. You can walk the entire island within 30 mins and there are some little shops to check out, pharmacy, hospital, police station, and government facilities. If you want to experience an authentic Maldivian vacation, the Vaali guesthouse is the perfect accommodation for it. I contacted Mattei via WhatsApp, and he helped me with booking several rooms, transfer from Vaali, and his team helped with booking tours and experiences. We chose full board and the food was freshly made for us 3 times a day. The rooms were comfortable, AC and internet worked very well. Transfer from Male takes about 1.5-2 hours on a speed boat. We felt like we were staying with friends and family, everyone was super friendly and nice. Make sure to book a day tour to the Cinnamon resort to experience inauthentic but luxurious Maldivian experience. One day is enough for that :)

It was a perfect stay in Vaali … we already stay 2there in 2018! The hotel is perfect: only 9 rooms very well equipped, clean, minimal and with the typical Maldivian bathroom without roof. The staff is kind and polite, trying in every way to satisfy each need you have. The food is fantastic and is made by an Indian guy; the cuisine is healthy, rise, pasta, chicken, fish (especially tuna), vegetables and exotic fruit. No alcoholic drinks and meat pork not allowed. The only negative remark is on the excursions that we did with the close Alimas hotel because the ratio between price and quality was better, but I know that Vaali will improve also in it.

A very excellent guesthouse! The staff are very hospitable. All your wishes are taken into account, so that you can make yourself comfortable. On the day of my departure, I was given a small present.) The food was very delicious. For example, here I ate fish, it was so tasty, despite the fact that I don't quite like it.) The guesthouse is pretty close the bikini beach. It took me just 40 or 50 seconds to get there.) The beach is beautiful, so is the reef, but if you go 100 metres farther in the water. To be honest, 'Vaali' seemed to me the most hospitable place I've ever been to. If you plan to go to Felidhoo, I strongly advise you to stay at this guesthouse.

The stay was wonderful, with the usual human and genuine hospitality received from Vaali staff. The food was very good with healty food carachteristics of Sud-East country regions,, the cuisine is based on rise, chicken, fish (tuna), vegetables snd fruits.|We did the excursion not with Vaali ,but with Alimas staff being the ratio between price and quality better. The rooms are minimal without TV, but clean and very confortable without roof above the shower. Holidays at top level with top level of staff. See you soon.

This is a quaint little hotel on the beautiful island of Fellidhoo. The rooms are spacious and clean and the bathrooms are lovely. The rooms could possibly do with a bit more decor as well as a duvet or blanket on the bed. We found it quite chilly and uncomfortable with just a sheet on the bed. ||The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The only thing that brings them down is the kitchen. I am not saying the chef isn't good - i think he is very good however he obviously lacks ingredients to work with. Half the meals on their a la carte menu are unavailable which is disappointing so you are kind of forced to eat from their buffet at dinner. We personally do not like buffets as it is normally too much food especially for children. We dont feel the buffet had enough choice to warrant 12 USD per person and the dessert was tinned fruit.. Breakfasts are ok but always the same - eggs, sausage, toast, crumpets or French toast and baked beans.||There are 2 bikini beaches - the one directly opposite from the hotel and one slightly further up the island. The bikini beach directly across from the hotel is quite rocky but great to go snorkeling from. The one further up the beach is better suited to swimming but also great for snorkeling. The reef at Felidhoo is incredible and you just need to swim from the shore to get there. We saw loads of beautiful fish, moray eels and white tipped reef sharks.||At night you must walk to the Harbour and watch all the nurse sharks and sting rays come in. It is quite spectacular to watch. ||All in all a great stay. We unfortunately didn't get to meet the owners as they weren't there.
