Vaayu village - a community space feeding you with love by keeping nature’s elements close to us. Starting from the rooms, to the open spaces to the cafe food, this place has its own vibe. Located at ashwem beach, the space conducts surfing lessons, yoga sessions, and many such workshops trying to give us simple and healthy living experience. Their beautiful paintings and evening lights, just fulfilled our day. We stayed for 5 nights and attended surfing lessons. From the cleaning staff to the cafe people to everyone present there, are so welcoming. By the end of our stay we already started feeling like home. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

I expected it to be a hotel from it’s website and pictures, but it turned out to be a homestay run by what seemed to be a family. My review is more for the expectation mismatch than the place itself which was decent enough, but quite pricey for what it had to offer. The sea-facing rooms are right on the road, so it also gets very noisy with the traffic and construction work around. The view from the room & terrace was nice though, and right in front of one of the best spots for surfing in Goa.

We attended surfing lessons and stayed at vaayu village for 5 nights. Experience was mesmerising. The location, the Wooden cottages, and the people gave us such relaxing and friendly experience. We loved cafe food. Especially the smoothies. The open space was our chilling spot, all peaceful and cozy. Rooms were very comfortable and the cleaning staff very helpful. Yoga sessions in the morning, inspired me to join them and have a more happy and healthy life.

Super chill place to get away from the hectic city life. Good place for surfers coz they have super chill cafe and their own rental boards you can charge everything to your room and pay at the check out. Staff are nice and friendly. I will be back soon.

I have mixed feelings about this place. As soon as we got there we loved the outside interior and the art around, specially the gallery. We took the budget bungalow at first but didn't think it was worth the price so we upgraded to the upper rooms with extra charge , we were ok until we found out there were bed bugs! It did not feel good to find out there are bugs biting my face at 11pm! The problem was reception closes early and I had to call and be firm for them to come as initially his response was "sorry sorry tomorrow sleep now" eventually he came and we went to the rooms downstairs which were clean. I still give it 4 star for the view of the Cafe, not using water bottles and helping out and not charging us for the upgrade. I do think you should upgrade your shared toilets, mattress quality, bungalow quality and also consider training the people to help out more with getting to know the places and recommending places for new tourists.

It's an amazing place to have a laid back vacation. The people who run this place are very friendly and helpful. The food here is just awesome. One of the best places if you want to learn surfing too. P.S. Do try the tacos and the smoothies

This place has a great cafe! The staff are friendly and the menu is great. They have fish tacos, curry, and a great looking breakfast. Ordered the fish tacos and a watermelon juice. Super tasty and an eco friendly metal straw 👍
