I love VacationsToGo! My agent is helpful to finding me the trips that I am looking for and gets great discounts. We asked other people what they paid and we verified that we had the best deal. We went to the Dominican Republic and stayed at TRS Turquises, part of Grand Palladium Resort on Bavara Beach ( best beach). We had a swim up room and it was gorgeous. Hot tub in the room and a full living room. The grounds are so beautiful and well kept. This is our second trip there because it is so nice and well kept have use of all 4 resorts! VacationsToGo never lets me down!

I love taking cruises with the help of VTG. By now I believe I took three of them, including one repositioning. I always find on their website (or from their info emails) what I am looking for. Their agents are always professional and polite and responsive. During our last cruise, our agent Steven Gilani, was outstanding from beginning to the end, especially when we needed to solve one quick issue. The whole team with the Executive Charman, Alan Fox, in the lead is hard working group of people that do not disappoint their clients! I recommend them anywhere I go!

We just finished a 14 day cruise that we booked with Vacations To Go Travel Agency. We went on the Princess Enchanted and it was one of the best cruises we have been on. We have dealt with Vacations To Go for about 6-7 years and have worked with Summer Muth. She has booked many cruises for us. I must say Summer is a great agent and I would highly recommend you work with her and this company!

We have done several cruises with Vacations to Go. They have been from one cabin to several cabins with family and friends. Our agent, Doc Savoie, has been professional, organized and service minded. He provided quotes, documents and information in a timely fashion and everything was always explained and ready for travel. In addition the best price with added amenities were always provided. GREAT itineraries and so many beautiful places to visit when you go on a cruise. You can't go wrong booking with Vacations to go!

We could not have asked for better service. Our cruise advisor Gabe was very efficient in making sure that all the perks were received as promised. I’ve always browsed Vacation To Go’s deals more as daydreaming rather than actually booking my vacations through them, until a couple of friends booked and called us to go on a cruise with them. Under no time, I picked up the phone and called them, Adriene Jones was the counselor who helped me and she was knowledgeable, fast and friendly. Overall experience with VTG was hands down a 10/10. The only however I have to say, is that during the cruise and after, I compared their prices with some cruise ship companies and the brochure price stated on VTG’s is nowhere near what’s shown if booked through the ship company itself. I don’t know if that’s a marketing strategy or something else, but at the end of the day, VTG had better prices anyway. All being said, 4/5 stars. Edit: after VTG’s answer regarding original pricing, and trusting their word, it’s only fair that I give them a 5/5 stars.

I have used Vacations To Go for several cruises and they have never failed to provide excellent service. We just returned from a 28 day cruise from Seattle to Alaska returning through the Panama Canal to Aruba and then to Miami. I would never have found this cruise without Vacations To Go. We also booked 7 excursions through them and enjoyed them all. I recommended them to other cruisers several times during our trip and also to the limo service driver who brought us home and then today to my Doctors nurse.

I love Vacations To Go! I've been using them for 14 years to help easily book cruises, and we just got off the boat from our 11th cruise this past December 2024 (most of them booked through VTG). I started off with Ricky Castillo as my cruise consultant and then switched to Blaine Menez after COVID - both are spectacular! The ease of use with Vacations To Go is something special. I am able to quickly get quotes, ask questions, get recommendations, make payments, and get vacations booked. The email and phone response time is unparalleled. The service was so good that we already have an Alaskan cruise booked and ready to go for 2025. Thank you, Vacations To Go, for your stellar service!

Used once after I heard great things about V2G. I contacted V2G via email to get a rate since they don't seem to allow you to book anything online which is bizarre and not with the times. I was emailed a quote for a cruise I had my eye on with the category number listed which was a great price with gratuities included so I booked it. There were some hiccups with the room assignment in which I had to contact the TA I used to have them change it which required a lot of red tape. I feel like though she knew ahead of time things and withheld information from me.. I would probably use them again simply due to the price.

Highly recommend Vacations to go. I cruise several times a year. I've been using them for over 9years and have never had a bad experience. My agent Valerie Bauer is enjoyable to talk to. VTG has always gotten me the best deal and will continue to work with them

Beware! NEVER BOOK EXCURSIONS IN ADVANCE WITH THIS COMPANY. It's nestled in the small print. The individual business can deny you access to their excursion and NOT refund your money. Even if you have insurance. Our Juneau, Alaska tour apparently booked up and we didn't get in. Nobody told us. Luckily, we had internet access and I discovered our itinerary had changed. I then saw that our money had been refunded. What happened on the Skagway Southeast Tours excursion is shocking to me. Getting on the bus to leave, the manager claims he was called a name and threw us off. Having never said a word to him, I naturally pleaded my case which only escalated matters. I've since learned that this is a well oiled scam that they've run several times and there's absolutely nothing can be done about it. I guess I'm naive because I had no idea people still got away with small town shenanigans things like this. I'm still stunned how easily we were taken advantage of. Even with a couple dozen witnesses, we really have no leg to stand on. We took out VTG insurance, but the tour company denies everything (of course), so we don't qualify for a refund. Again, they reserve the right to deny you your pre-paid tour and not refund your money. Why would I make all this up? We wanted that tour. We've been two weeks pleading our case to VTG in hopes of some restitution, their representative Violet, now informs us they will not refund anything or do anything for us. While we've been very fortunate, I guess eventually everyone gets taken advantage of in this life. There's bad folks everywhere. The disappointing part is that vacations to go accepts whatever this guy tells them, thus turning their back on us. Which calls us a liar. I'm sorry to run on with this. Go read my reviews and you'll see I don't cry wolf. I try to be neutral and I don't look to get refunded. I operate in good faith. My advice would be to pick and choose your excursions on the dock as you leave the ship each day and avoid this company, altogether. Travel safe, my friends! 08/23

For a first time River Cruise, we couldn't be happier with the over the top customer service we received from the whole team at Vacations To Go From booking to communication to troubleshooting any glitches, we would highly recommend this company for any Cruise Travel Our travel counselor Gus Connolly found the perfect Cruise of the Balkans with all of our criteria, great communication with quick responses and guidance through the booking process, to making sure our itinerary was exactly as planned and in constant contact with Cruise Line Amawaterways, followed up by Chantel Smith, customer care specialist, and Alan Fox, Executive Chaiman, making sure all was in order including an upgrade to a beautiful suite. We will use Vacations To Go for all future cruises.

An acquaintance was going on 2 VTG hosted singles' cruises, so I booked myself balcony rooms for both. It sounded like fun; a large group with lots of opportunities to mingle. One is scheduled for January, 2025 and the other for May, 2025. I had already booked excursions and spa treatments for January and was looking forward to going in a couple of weeks, but I decided I wanted to change one of my singles' group excursions and cancel the May trip. My agent was away for the holidays so I spoke to Stuart who said he would cancel the May trip for me. Imagine my shock when a couple of days later I went to the Princess app to see if I could print luggage tags and found my January trip gone. The May trip that I thought I had cancelled was still showing. The website confirmed. I called VTG to find out what was going on. Stuart was not there so I spoke to Jerry who said he would call Princess. Later he called back to tell me that the cruise was sold out and Princess only had interior rooms left; I let him know that this was unacceptable. My choice was that inferior cabin, or a refund and I was given one day to decide. Meanwhile, my excursions and spa treatments were cancelled with the reservation cancellation, so even if I took the inferior cabin I may not get the excursions and treatments I wanted. By the end of the day I had spoken to yet another VTG agent and by later today I'll know if they can get me balcony room. Whatever the conclusion, what I really found appalling was that in the process of all these conversations, not one VTG person I spoke to ever took responsibility for the problem by acknowledging that Stuart messed up big time. Not one VTG person ever acknowledged my feelings, nor did any of them say, "what can we do to make you happy." They didn't even care when I said that I would never book through them again. I have never encountered such tone-deaf customer "service" in my life!

Very good place to book cruises. Emmanuel was such a good travel agent. If you want to book with him I highly recommend. His phone number 713974212 ext8977!! We had tons of questions and he answered via phone or email very quick and got us the good deal on a 7 day cruise!

Customer service is just bad!! So many e-mails, finally after over a week I received a partial refund. Talked to upper management , Alan he was very apologetic with no results. I will never use this company again. What a way to support your customers! Without us, you have no business or job.

I had heard so much and had such good hopes about vacations to Go that I decided to give them a try. I booked a cruise that, at the time, I thought was a decent deal, and then with less than a week's time, I saw the same Cruise posted that competitors except they were paying gratuity. I expected that Vacations to Go would honor their advertisement to match the deal since it was relatively close (within a week) to my booking date. Not several months later and which I wouldn't expect them to match prices.. Please judge wisely, as I made a mistake and should have gone with United Cruises, which I have used before, and they were willing to help and work with their customers. Stay away and only if it is a very last resort, Use vacations to Go. They took a star away, and they keep making excuses that are getting worse.

All of the recent yelps in 2023 for Vacations to Go are true. one star for the most part. I have been a customer for more than 5 years. I book 2 to 4 high prices suites per year with Vacations to Go. Vacations to Go receives complaints (directly Outside of Yelp) and does nothing to notify Celebrity, Seabourn or Oceania of their cost cutting moves and their failure to communicate these cost cutting moves to their customers before paying. It would have been easy for Vacations to Go to say " we are booking you a Magic Carpet Suite and your butler will be shared with 60 other ROOMS" Yes 60 other rooms...one butler! If that was communicated the cruise would never have been booked. Vacations to Go is an agent of the cruise line companys. They are not an agent for his high paying customers.....or any of their customers for that matter. When Vacations to Go is made aware of policy changes, they need to communicate these to the customer BEFORE making the sale. Never was Mr Fox asked to change policies. Never did Vacations to Go act as an Agent and support their long term suite purchasing customer and be an advocate for their customer Vacations to Go is too busy receiving commissions from the Cruise Line than to assist their customers In all of the other reviews, Shannon E. (the business manager) never communicates what Vacations to Go ever did to assist her customers. Shannon E. misrepresents the facts. William Earley

We made a reservation for a cruise and made a down payment. To make the final payment you cannot use the web site. You have to call the listing agent at Vacations to Go. I called several times and left a message for the agent and never got a response. I then called and got someone on the line who said that my agent was no longer with the company and assigned me a new agent. After calling and emailing I finally got confirmation for my final payment. It is insane that the customer cannot pay on the web site. I will never use Vacations to Go again.

They have a cagey habit of adding unsolicited extras. Upon receipt of my final invoice, there was an $84.00 add on for travel insurance. Previous experience with travel insurance told me this was not a wise investment as the policy I had purchased years earlier was not paid on. (The policy holder's reason for cancelling must fit the company's rigid criteria of acceptable reasons for cancelling.) From that point on, I vowed never again. You can imagine my surprise when the itemized list of charges reflected the aforementioned $84.00 travel insurance charge. Upon contacting VTG, I was advised by a supervisor that the charge would not have been made unless requested by the customer. Furthermore, cancellation had to be requested within five days of 'purchase'. To document the transaction, he agreed to contact me within 1 - 2 days after retrieving the conversation which transpired between myself and the booking agent which was ostensibly 'recorded for quality purposes'. The return call never came. I am currently in the process of disputing the charge, but since it was rolled into the final invoice from Carnival, the retailer against whom the dispute is filed is causing some confusion.

London was so helpful booking our first cruise, got us a great deal, and was very upfront about the cost. London went above and beyond in helping to work out all the details! I will use them again and highly recommend!

We booked 2 balcony cabins on Holland America Greek cruise for May 14. My husband's Greek sisters in their 80s were denied boarding because they had official Greek travel cards. I had an email from their corporate office that Vacations to go sent on to me that they would accept them but at the ship they refused them because the back of the card was written in Greek and not English. The cruise went to 4 stops in Greece and 1 stop in Turkey. Turkey accepts these Greek travel cards. We had to find a way to fly them back home to Thessaloniki from Athens that day we arrived. It was all a nightmare. They were devastated. Now neither our travel agency [Vacations to go] nor the cruise company answers are request for a refund. A very poor experience. If they had told us we could have corrected that in a week prior but they never said the back of their cards must be in English. My emails are ignored.

Chantel Smith is fantastic. Great to work with. Any time I sent an email she would reply in a very timely manner. If I call she picks up. Great asset to the company.

They are the worst, so many changes, adding monies each time. Horrible communications. Had to call each day on vacation, had to wait till the next day (all bad) news. I called them, but they didn't care.

Unfortunately, our family had a terrible experience and will never again be using Vacations to Go. Beware: The level of service / care completely changes once you have officially booked your trip. They are only concerned about their commission! Our agent was Curtis Slack and he was responsive and friendly before we booked, but the second we booked, at the very first issue we faced with our cruise planning, he left us abandoned and made zero effort to help us resolve said issue. Curtis' exact words to us on the phone when we called him with our issue were, "there's nothing I can do." He then hung up on us with no intention of helping us. It was awful. I called the cruise line directly to resolve the issue myself - which I did, easily! It only took one phone call. Even the cruise line informed us that issues like this should always be handled by the travel agent and they were floored that we weren't helped. We'll be using a different agency next time for sure.

Awful and terrible experience. They just care about their commission, once they get their money that's it. We had an issue with our renewed passports not getting them on time for our trip to Punta Cana, in spite of applying for an expedited passport renewal. This was/is a national issue. Passport office is/was behind sending those passports. Vacations to go and the so called "Travel Counselor"- Roger Rodriguez never told me about having our passports ready before paying almost $5000. I talked to the manager, she answered me 2 weeks after just saying, "Sorry, nothing can be done on our part. You lost your money". We didn't want a refund just to be able to move the date to travel to before the end of the year. I don't recommend this company at all. Better Business Bureau knows about them and Social Media too. They don't deserve any better. I wish I had never done business with them. M.

Great company for all my travels with an amazing staff that are knowledgeable, friendly, compassionate and extremely helpful always! My wife and I have been on many cruises and have always used Vacations to Go. They have a good website which is easy to negotiate and a host of customer service and travel agents for booking.

Over the years we have used vacations to go many times for six star cruises like Regent, silver seas and seaborne. We never had an issue. In August my husband and I went on a two week cruise to Greece on Seaborne through vacations to go and it was easy as always. Yesterday in order to cheer me up ( both our beloved dogs passed away this year) he decided to book a last minute cruise next week on Seaborne for my birthday. The agent made several mistakes (to our benefit) regarding the cruise and we paid for it. The next day a customer service rep tried to cancel our reservation completely even though we had gone over the reservation multiple times with the agent to validate the specifics. When we got upset the Director of Customer Care became involved. To her credit, Monica Peters dealt with our being frustrated and rude with professionalism and aplomb. She took the time to actually listen, not just pacify and deny, which is typical when there is a complaint a company doesn't care to honour. It took most of the day, but Monica came through for us and gave exactly what was promised- at a loss to the company; which is impressive! Not many companies do the right thing and stand up for the customer anymore and vacations to go did. That's how you get customers for life.

This is great website/company for booking vacations and trips! Although they push the cruise factor (which I have done, very successfully) they also have good deals on escorted tours, which I have also done. The agents can correspond via email or phone and are available during evening hours. We just booked a 9 day Italy trip with Gate1 Travel using Vacationstogo, which had a nice discount. Titan was so informative and patient and answered all our questions. We asked about the flooding in Venice, and we unfortunately received an email the very DAY we left, informing us that airport transport at the Venice airport was delayed, and we didn't see it until we returned. If possible stay with the agent who books your trip so you don't have to repeat yourself, as these people take good notes.

I made reservations for a cruise that I paid in full. After paying I received an email explaining what I had to do as the date was getting close. Ok ! The person I made the reservation was pleasant and gave me her phone number to call if I had questions. Great! I have called the sales rep many times, to get absolutely no return calls after leaving messages. My trip is coming up and it would have been better to get directly with Carnival than VTG. I will never book another trip with this company.

They used my credit card to book someone else's cruise for $3500. They offered to make things right by giving me a bottle of wine when I arrive in my cabin. Are you kidding me? A cheap $20 bottle of wine is not going even begin to make your fraudulent actions go away. They would have never found this error I had to call. The charge was for someone going to Venice with a complete different company and ship. I'm doing a quick 3 day cruise for less then $500. The excuses they gave were ridiculous. "Oh the numbers were similar". Hello are you high, because all credit cards are similar they all have 16 numbers. Ughh

I have booked several cruises with this company and my experience was dismal. Agents are not certified agents and are mostly unprofessional and inexperienced. They don't have basic knowledge about cruising or charges. In fact, their own web site is so outdated they search for information from the cruise lines own web pages. The "agent" I spoke with today could not give me much information as "she had lost her glasses and could t see the computer screen!" I use to sell cruises myself and know how much training is involved to become CLIA certified. I don't recommend them.

We traveled to Mexico on a Carnival Cruise. Between my mom, daughter and me we booked three excursions (total of five tickets). My first one was canceled. Luckily someone I was traveling with had access to email and was notified the day before. The second day my mom's was canceled but no one told her, not through email or anything else. She was sitting around waiting for her tour when she found out and ultimately put with another tour that was leaving at the same time that was very boring, didn't serve food like the other and since she was anticipating a local meal, was hungry the entire time. The third day, all three of us went together to an animal sanctuary (my daughter is 3) and it was not as advertised. It was much further from the ship, the shuttle picked up another group for a different excursion on the way which was clearly outside of the way to our excursion, did not have many animals and we had to hire our own taxi to get us back to the ship in time to leave Mexico since their shuttle wasn't going to get us back in time. I 100% will never book with anyone other than the ship ever again so I can ensure I am notified when something is canceled and my family and I can be guaranteed to get back on the ship before it leaves. If you book through the ship, they will not leave without you. They also had my daughter's name spelled wrong on her ship ticket and it was a real pain to get it changed.

They booked us for an excursion that didn't exist! The highlight of my trip was going to be zip-lining in Ketchikan. I booked the excursion with Vacations to Go. We showed up where the shuttle was supposed to pick us up, but no one was there. When we called the zip-line company, they said they didn't even have zip-lining available at that time. They gave us our money back, but what good does that do? I didn't sail all the way to Alaska to keep my money. Instead of going salmon fishing, crabbing, canoeing, or riding a helicopter, my husband and I were stuck with a bus tour because that was the only thing left. It's infuriating! I'll never book with them again.

I called late , almost at the end of the business hours on Friday Jan 19 to get a final price on a 16 d cruise w Norwegian company . The agent Cesalie Watler said it was $950 + tax . The advertised price I had was $599 + tax & I told her I can email her the price I had on an email from them . After being placed on hold she said ,,oh , I found it , it is $599 ". I asked to get an email w the total price which I did . Saturday I emailed her asking to book it . She emailed me right away and asked me to provide our names & DOB & she would place the cabin on hold & call me next day to finalize the booking . On her Saturday email to me she had her phone number and office hours for Saturday listed 11AM TO 8 PM . I did not hear from her next day so I left a voice message & sent an Email . Still nothing . Monday I left another voicemail without any response. I spoke w supervisor Abby who said would investigate and her attitude was like ,, things happen ! Also informed me that the cruise was sold out ! I was promised that Cesalie will call me w an explanation to what happened. Never called me ! I emailed my complaint to Cesalie's manager Beltran Abordo who sent me an email claiming he tried to call me & leave a voice mail twice but was not able to go thru . I had absolutely no missed calls or messages and my phone worked just fine . He tried to convince me that Cesalie did not book the cruise or contact me because she was not in the office Saturday . He forgot she emailed me Saturday & did not think I noticed her office ours listed . Had no explanation why she did not call Monday either ! Did not take any responsibility for mishandling this situation . Tried to imply that was my fault . Ang guess what? He said now they have the cruise available at $950 ! How convenient ! I think that Cesalie was told not to book this cruise at the lower price & just not call me back . They hoped I would take the cruise with the increased rate . Dishonest , deceiving , unethical and lying . I am convinced that they will respond to my complaint with a fabricated explanation and a lie . This behavior is unacceptable and I wonder if the higher management of this company knows what is going on .

Worst service I ever had! A group of friends wanted to meet on a cruise, so we booked a vacation to go when we asked about cancellation, the agent said, we just need to buy insurance, so all my friends bought cruise and insurance. but I caught covid need to cancel the cruise, there is no one to help, they just want to keep the money. don't let the cheap price catch you !!!! they can cancel, but the client has no right to cancel.

Management is not customer service oriented nor are they employee oriented. That's why they're looking for people to work for them.

All about the Sale before the Service. I took the insurance Vacations to Go was selling because it had to be better than the cruise line's captive insurance, and I knew I needed insurance, because it was going to be my first cruise since Covid. I was fully vaccinated and "bivalented" and senior flu vaxxed, and I'd been exposed a few times and never got it. There were few masks and close quarters on my first cruise in years, and, by the fifth day of my 15-day cruise, I had the version of Covid that makes you utterly weak, constantly exhausted, and struggling for oxygen while feeling you are breathing. I was confined to an interior cabin, started on Paxlovid, and told the soonest I could leave my cabin would be six days later. I contacted my travel agent because I could not decipher the insurance policy they sold me, and I was very very sick. I asked them to get me off the ship so I could recover at home, or, at least, not serve more solitary confinement than a prisoner at San Quentin! The travel agent ignored me for a day and then gave me links to the insurance and thereafter ghosted me. That's my last time with Vacations to Go! They never rescued me. They never intervened with Generali to provide service. They got their commission, and all they did from then on was write emails telling me they were "escalating." They even had the nerve to send me an email denying that I'd ever contacted them, though they somehow withdrew that email. I may have gotten a discount of $75 cheaper than buying the cruise directly from the cruise line, but the only place I could use the $75 on-board credit was to pay for the $800 Paxlovid or the antibiotics and medical care costing another $450. Instead, they did nothing to get me off that boat. They left me abandoned, locked in a tiny cabin for six days while they didn't answer emails and, when called, they just told me they were escalating and we hadn't even opened a claim. After I got home, they worked with their insurance agency, Generali, to set up a series of barriers, so I had to assign the case to a paralegal in my office to jump the hoops. First, Generali insisted I prove I made a claim against my health insurance. Next, prove I made a claim to the travel agency. Then, fill out an outdated form of Generali's asking, at one point, for how Paxlovid is compounded. I'm back almost a month now with nothing but lies and obfuscation and "we're escalating" as they click off the days until the claim is untimely under their tricky dick policy. The fun part for me is that I'm a lawyer, and I know I'm going to sue for the medical and the reimbursement and the cost of the flight they should have put me on. It'll cost me more than I will recover, but I intend to take their lawyer out for a martini afterwards. Maybe he'll pay with all the law firm will charge to defend. If you aren't a lawyer and want the insurance you thought you bought, don't buy it from Vacations to Go, and, if you thought that you were buying through a travel agent to have an advocate if things go wrong far away from home, use a real travel agent. Stay away from these defrauders.

company cheated our $2800 on booked cabin - agent gave us wrong information, could not board the ship due to visa required for a visiting location. their agent says it was ok did not need visa just have current passport. customer service did not help at all. I would never use this company again. they assign the worse cabins.

We have used Vacations to Go for our cruises for over fifteen years. We have found the price of a cruise from Vacations to Go sometimes to be better than the cruise line price and sometimes substantially better and in some cases the same. Due to the quality of service, we book our cruises through Vacations to Go. On July 25th we receive notice that Silversea is changing the starting port from Quito to Guayaquil due to construction at Quito airport affecting flights. We asked to cancel the cruise as the change in ports was increasing our air fare by $1200. We were informed since we had booked within 60 days that there was no refund. I indicated to Silversea that you knew ahead of time about work at Quito airport. You should have notified us of potential change of airports. They claimed that they did not know of the work at the airport. I googled information on Quito airport. Quito airport clearly announced information before July 24th. Silversea refused to reimburse us the $1200 for our increased air fare. We had a host of other issues pre-cruise with Silversea. At Vacations to Go my case was elevated to a supervisor. The supervisor and I had a 90-minute conference call with Silversea. During the call we found out Silversea had never provided Vacations to Go that return flights must be after 5 or 6PM. We had to rebook our airline tickets again. At this point my wife and I had no interest in taking the cruise. I then got my case elevated to a senior executive at Vacations to Go. They got in touch with executives at Silversea. We came to an agreement, and we took the cruise. On the first day of the cruise passengers were complaining about their pre-cruise experience with Silversea. Our cruise experience was the exact opposite of our pre-cruise experience. The Silversea Origin is a luxurious ship for 100 passengers. The service was spectacular. The food was excellent with a great variety of choices. The servers, cabin stewards and front desk were very friendly, and we got to know each other by name. The guides were extremely knowledgeable. We were happy that we took the trip but are bewildered by the difference in pre-cruise and on-cruise experience with Silversea. We are fortunate that we had Vacations to Go intervening on our behalf.

I compared prices with other companies and Vacations To Go was cheaper than others. The customer service is alway spot on.

SINGLE TRAVELERS BEWARE! Vacations to Go touts itself a last minute, discount booking agent for your cruise experience. First, the discounts are almost nonexistent. I would highly recommend booking directly with your cruise line as the company, Norwegian in my instance, can't communicate with me directly as I used Vacations to Go (all communications must go through the travel agent). This is my first cruise experience and I have discovered the Cruise experience is NOT for single travelers. You are not informed when purchasing, "enhanced," packages (upgraded beverage, internet and specialty dining) that Specialty Dining is tailored for two or more travelers and the single traveler has to fend for themselves with regard to reservations once shipboard. Additionally, keep in mind when booking, MANY shore excursions are also tailored for even numbered travelers. I booked a much-anticipated helicopter excursion 6 weeks in advance of the cruise only to be told three weeks later there were no seats available. When you book you are told you will receive an e-ticket within 3 days . . . mine never arrived. After some internet research I discovered the more coveted excursions are slated to accommodate an even number of passengers. I called Vacations to Go and spoke with a supervisor to ask if anything could be done to enhance the cruise experience due to the gap caused by being a single traveler and was told absolutely nothing could be done. Further, the supervisor at Vacations to Go, who stated she had considerable experience indicated she had never been faced with the "single traveler," dilemma; yet, when she placed me on hold and contacted Norwegian Cruise Lines she was told my obstacles were common for single travelers by customer service at Norwegian. Will I cruise again? We will find out after my April 15th Alaskan cruise. Will I ever use Vacations to Go . . . never. Nor would I ever recommend them to another traveler; single our otherwise.

Based on the nice note I received from Kimberly A. at VTG after my last review on here (see previous review), I decided to give this place another chance, and yet again it was a mistake. I asked for a quote, and was given one. I specifically checked the days/hours the agent was working (as provided in their initial email to me). When I emailed back stating that the quote was higher than the actual cruise line price because of the latitude discount, she said I never told her I get the cruise line discount, and that I just asked for a quote. The issue is that my account info on VTG clearly shows I have cruised that line before. In fact I have booked the same ship/line through VTG in the past! I emailed back asking for the correct price using my latitudes two days ago, and did not hear back even though she (Pepper) works on Saturdays. *****Yet another update - 10 days later, and still no response. So much for customer service. It's more like customer "dis-service". *****Update - 5 days later, and still no response!!!! She is supposed to be there Tuesday through Saturday, so clearly she doesn't plan on responding.***** I'm done with them - no more chances. I booked our cruise once again through an agent at NCL. At least at NCL they are responsive and clearly appreciate our business. VTG really needs to hire people who respect their clients, and they need to train them. It's really as simple as that.

Advertised price mysteriously not available I previously posted a review saying Vacations to Go was less than legitimate. To support my claim I wanted to post a picture of their web site with the attractive pricing that mysteriously disappeared when someone tried to book. Be wary of this business.

iBook all my cruise is on this site at least the last 20 or 30. They have the best website. it's very detailed and the nicest thing is the discount it shows in the far right column. No one beats Vacations To Go.

My wife and I have been using Vacations To Go to find and schedule cruises for 4-5 years now. The web site is great for searching for cruises with any of the cruise companies. Once one is found you call them and will be connected with one of their travel agents who are very resourceful and eager to help you find the best cruise for your money. Speaking of money you won't find cruises any cheaper elswhere. The service is great even after your cruise is scheduled. Will definitely be using them for years to come. A prior reviewer commented about no onboard credit, well I received credit on our last three cruises. Joyce is "Great"

Vacations to Go is a HORRIBLE site and they will screw you over. No need to believe this review. Go to the Better Business Bureau website and see for yourself. We booked an excursion with them for our up in coming cruise. An email was sent to us stating that our excursion time was pushed back from 10:00am to 2:00pm and to call them if there was an issue. We received this email on Sunday morning and to call the number below mon-fri 8-5. Called this morning and spoke with Kathy( who is a piece of garbage). She stated that we were wrong and there was a 24hr line to call on our tickets which we have not received by this point. We explained that the number in the email stated they were only open from Mon-Fri 8-5 and she kept telling us we were wrong. When we asked for a supervisor she stated that she could on put in a call back request. Mind you that we only now have to the end of the day to cancel the trip or it becomes final. I explained to hear that we are not going to wait for a supervisor call back when they would not call us back until tomorrow, at that point we would be past the 24hr time period to cancel. They completely falsely advertised their trip time and changed it at the last minute forcing us to cancel the trip all together. Dont waste your time and money on this company. Their a complete joke!!

I would give this zero calls if I could. I tried calling the store to speak to a manager and the operator wouldn't put me through unless I told them who they were and why.. honestly I was trying to HELP their business and tell them I seen these sucky reviews and that I applied so I could try to change it around for this location but honestly this ship can sink. you can find a better employees with better attitude at McDonald's!!! If I was CEO or branch manager I would perform big layoffs and rebuild the employee roster. And the reviews from other travelers make it worse. IF YOURE LOOKING TO BOOK DONT RISK YOUR LIFE WITH VACATIONS TO GO

I'm not happy with vacations to go because I had to cancel a cruise because I had a heart attack last year and didn't feel safe to travel. I asked for a voucher like someone else I know who canceled. They rejected me and told me to file a claim with the insurance. I will not use this company again.

When my cabin mate and I tested positive for Covid we were quarantined onboard. We were unable to take the Vacations to Go excursion. In fact, my companion was taken off the ship at that port and spent 10 days in the hospital. The cruise line immediately refunded the excursion we missed with them. Vacations to Go advised us to contact them when we returned for help in filing a claim. When we did, they refused to do anything.

Been using many years .Never had any problems.Only issue no perks or incentives like most on line agencies.Not even onboard credit.

This used to be a stellar company to work with, but recently it has been all bad, like someone else said, no more customer service. I cannot get a return phone call. I cannot get a return email. So I figured I would try to send them a private message on Facebook, their response? Block me from sending messages. All I want them to do is take my money..... With so much competition in the cruise and travel industry, I would think they would try a lot harder, or even a little bit harder. The savings between V2G and booking direct is usually negligible. If it wasn't for the small on-board credit, it is usually better to just book directly. Factor in the frustration level, no longer a savings
