23 Dublin Restaurants to Visit in 2026 | Condé Nast Traveler

"Northside enclave Stoneybatter has become a restaurant hotspot in recent years, with classic Italian at Grano and modern Chinese at Hakkahan. And this new neighborhood café is adding a zero-waste ethos to the mix. Vada was founded by Sarah Boland, who trained at Ballymaloe Cookery School in County Cork, and head chef Hannah O’Donnell, formerly of Galway favorite Kai, steers the kitchen. For weekday lunch, there could be sweetcorn fritters with green chutney or a pork meatball sub with candied jalapeños, while a weekend brunch of s’mores croissant French toast is as over-the-top and treat-yourself as it sounds. For dinner (on Friday and Saturday), focaccia comes with whipped tahini butter, mussels are Thai-style with coconut curry gazpacho, and the Middle East-inspired steak with zhoug béarnaise nods to Boland’s respect for the innovative cooking of Yotam Ottolenghi." - Aoife O'Riordain

Had the opportunity to have some amazing food at Vada, really liked that it wasn’t crowded at all and we got a table right away. Really nice staff and food is reasonably priced. We ordered the porcetta and blueberry croissant french toast from the specials. They both were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend! The interiors are really nice and quaint as well.

I booked Vada for dinner after reading a glowing review, and it absolutely lived up to the praise. From the moment we arrived, we were looked after by a lovely Brazilian waitress who was incredibly attentive and made us feel right at home. We were seated near the door—which the staff mentioned is due for a fix—but it didn’t take away from the experience at all. We ordered a mix of small plates and mains, and were genuinely impressed by the bold flavours and generous portion sizes. The service was relaxed, friendly, and spot-on throughout. We’ll definitely be back—and we’ll be recommending Vada to friends too.

Wow, this place was even better than expected! Some of the items are on the pricier side for brunch, but the quality you're getting really does match up. The ham hock croquettes that came with home made hot sauce and picalili were incredible. The croissant with scrambled eggs and cheese would have been great but the addition of candied jalapenos made it so much better! Definitely give here a go! Can't wait to go back.

It's one of the best brunch spots in Dublin! The food was absolutely amazing, and everything was fresh and beautifully presented. The cosy atmosphere made it even more enjoyable, and it wasn't too busy for a Sunday, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were incredibly accommodating. I even had the chance to chat with the owner, who has such a friendly personality. Definitely keep an eye on this place. Their dinner menu is launching soon, and I can’t wait to try it. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic dining experience here! The sharing plates were unique and absolutely delicious, each offering something different. The wine selection was lovely, with a great variety that complemented the food perfectly. The atmosphere was buzzing with energy, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves — it really added to the overall vibe. The space was cosy and comfortable, which made for a relaxed yet vibrant setting. Service was friendly and attentive, adding to the warm, welcoming feel of the place. A wonderful spot for a night out with great food, wine, and company!

We ordered the mushroom toast – it was absolutely delicious! The flavors and the mushroom taste were out of this world! It was a bit salty for me, but still so tasty that I ate the whole thing 🤭☺️
