Visiting Vaduz Castle was somewhat underwhelming. The castle itself is quite impressive from the outside, perched majestically on a mountainside overlooking the town of Vaduz. The view from the top of the mountain is undeniably beautiful, offering a sweeping panorama of the surrounding landscape. However, that's about where the excitement ends.
Unfortunately, there is no entry allowed into the castle, which severely limits the experience. As someone who enjoys exploring historical sites, it was disappointing to only be able to view the castle from the outside. Without the ability to explore the interiors, there is little to do besides taking in the view and snapping a few photos. For those specifically interested in the castle itself, the visit might feel like a bit of a waste of time.
In summary, while the views from the top are great, if you are primarily interested in the castle, you might find this visit to be lacking. Vaduz Castle is more of a picturesque backdrop than a destination full of activities, so adjust your expectations accordingly.
