On the Grid : Værnedamsvej

"Kid-friendly, cozy, relaxed and Frenchy is the first words that pops up in my head when I think of Værnedamsvej.! Værnedamsvej is a small, busy shopping street situated between Vesterbro and Frederiksberg. The street is known for its French atmosphere and to many Copenhageners it is viewed as Copenhagen’s Paris. Here, you will find cafés, restaurants, specialty shops, deli’s and the wine bar Falernum. The street is oozing charm and a relaxed atmosphere, where several families with children and locals meet and hang out in the weekends enjoying the Frenchy charm – often at the great coffee shop Rist Do not miss Værnedamsvej’s charm and local life, when you are visiting Copenhagen" - Birds Flying High

Yelp
I would have to say this is one of my favorite streets in my neighborhood. It just is Vesterbro to a tee. It has everything you would expect it to have: cozy cafés, cute restaurants, charming flower shops and little alleyways that lead you to more interesting places and corners. Just have a stroll down here if you can, and I guarantee you, one of the little boutique shops will call out your name, begging for you to go explore it further!
