Vain Boutique Hotel

If you want biased and sexist attitude, this is the place for you. Let me tell you a story. I'm a mom who wanted one night of peaceful sleep (moms will understand). I arranged it for my birthday: called a nanny, got my husband ready, and chose a cozy hotel with a soft bed and restaurants nearby. But when I got there, the guy on recepción told me about the high price several times (apparently he decided I couldn't afford it). And when I took out cash, he started to come up with reasons to refuse me: "hotel policy," “you need credit card”, “try other hotel”. At the end just left me for other quests and I went away. Maybe he thought I was a prostitute? I don’t know. This was the first time I've encountered such sexism. I'm sure my husband would have checked in right away. Now I'm going home because my mood is ruined. Thank you for saving my money though.

The staff was incredibly friendly, professional and helpful. Hotel was in great location, the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. Nice breakfast buffet options. Great value for the price. My only dislike was the cement floors in the room deterred from the comfort and elegance. Carpet would make it better.

Comfortable room however not quiet. You can hear your neighbor at night shuffling around on the concrete floor & peeing. Beautiful rooftop pool. Staff friendly & helpful. Great location.

Just a fantastic hotel in all respects. Stayed for two nights with my daughter prior to heading south on a ski trip, wish we'd extended our stay at the Vain a day or two longer in retrospect. Clean, comfortable and surprisingly spacious accomodations in an ideal location in Palermo Soho. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful across the board, at the reception desk, breakfast bar, and maid service.

Room was clean, filled with natural light, and spacious with a modern layout and appliances. Stayed here in late February where temperatures were 85+ fahrenheit and found the linen sheets + AC a great relief to the heat. Plenty of well-known restaurants and bars within walking distance, only caveat to the convenient location was the streets around this block were rather dirty compared to the other touristy neighborhoods (not the fault of the hotel). Staff was very friendly and helpful!

Wish I had stayed longer in Buenos Aires to stay at this amazing hotel even longer!||Staff are extremely welcoming and friendly upon check in and at breakfast! ||No dinner at hotel but staff were more than happy to provide cutlery and everything if we needed anything! ||The room was amazing! Very spacious and bed was so nice I could have slept for days! ||Would highly recommend this hotel, it’s in a good location to walk around but also the subway isn’t that far away either!

The staff was great, very knowledgeable about the area, and extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the beds were very comfortable. Well located only 3 blocks from the subway station. I’d highly recommend this place.

Great hotel, modern comfortable clean rooms with great beds and nice sheets. The staff were incredibly helpful, they provided top notch food recommendations in the area and were always up for a little chat. Basic but nice breakfast!

What a fun spot! We actually stayed here twice, the two bookends of our trip. It was great to be excited to go back the second time. The hotel is located in a great walkable neighborhood. They also had bikes we could rent to explore the city - we took advantage of that on our first day there. There aren't many rooms so it was pretty quiet and we didn't bump into other guests often. The rooms were a good size and they were very clean. I like the bathroom a lot. It had a cool shower with sky light. It also had the toilet in its own little room which was convenient for us as newlyweds on our honeymoon. The room also has a quaint balcony off the rooms with a patio and chairs and a little table. There is also a larger patio on the top floor with some lounge chairs and a hot tub which I was very excited about. The hot tub was initially cold but the staff worked hard to get it heated up so my husband and I could have a fun night chatting under the stars.
