Vain Boutique Hotel, Palermo Soho, Buenos Aires, Argentina - Explore & Book

"This smart boutique hotel - with 34 minimalist-chic rooms - boasts a great location. It's just a few blocks from the city’s hottest fashion boutiques in Palermo Soho, minutes from Plaza Italia, a noisy but useful transport hub, and near the green expanses of the Palermo parks, including the lovely Botanical Garden and the Rose Garden. With highly personalised service, sleek design features and a cool monotone palette, Vain looks and feels every inch the small, composed Palermo hotel. In the noughties, this district became the focus of the city’s flowering design scene, with artists and designers opening studios and bijou boutiques on its cobbled lanes. Then a bevy of hip bars, restaurants and hotels followed, one of which was Vain - a beautifully refashioned 1920 townhouse with modern interiors and a gorgeous old façade. Following a second refurb in late 2023, the interiors have become even sleeker and the outdoor space upgraded with a rooftop terrace and pool, boasting unbelievable views across the city: we can't wait to pay another visit and see for ourselves. Highs Very chic design, from the polished concrete floors to cool circular sinks Staff are friendly, professional and super-quick, without being fussy A gorgeous rooftop terrace with loungers, a plunge pool and epic panoramic views In a city of underwhelming breakfasts, Vain excels We repeat: location, location, location - close to good shopping, Plaza Italia and the Palermo parks Lows We haven't visited since Vain underwent an extensive refurb, but it still looks like the city's coolest hangout Some people may find the grey interiors a bit soulless Bathrooms in general are slightly cramped, and not all have baths Not all rooms have a window with a view: some face the hallway (which can limit privacy) or an internal patio (noise can be an issue)" - Ismay Atkins

Room was clean, filled with natural light, and spacious with a modern layout and appliances. Stayed here in late February where temperatures were 85+ fahrenheit and found the linen sheets + AC a great relief to the heat. Plenty of well-known restaurants and bars within walking distance, only caveat to the convenient location was the streets around this block were rather dirty compared to the other touristy neighborhoods (not the fault of the hotel). Staff was very friendly and helpful!

Wish I had stayed longer in Buenos Aires to stay at this amazing hotel even longer!||Staff are extremely welcoming and friendly upon check in and at breakfast! ||No dinner at hotel but staff were more than happy to provide cutlery and everything if we needed anything! ||The room was amazing! Very spacious and bed was so nice I could have slept for days! ||Would highly recommend this hotel, it’s in a good location to walk around but also the subway isn’t that far away either!

The staff was very nice and welcoming, We got the room before the check in time as we arrived sooner after along flight which was really nice. Room was clean and there's a relaxing vibe at breakfast which is small oriental but good coffee.|We booked and paid more money for bigger room with balcony and view and got smaller one with no balcony, we noticed that and so they moved us to a larger room it was ground floor so balcony wasn't so nice. We booked 2 nights and they didn't change us towels. Wifi very bad keeps disconnect anywhere inside the hotel. bad noise isolation hearing people walking.

The staff was great, very knowledgeable about the area, and extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the beds were very comfortable. Well located only 3 blocks from the subway station. I’d highly recommend this place.

A lovely boutique hotel in a central location, walkable to the bars and restaurants of Palermo. The room was a descent size for city centre. Only disadvantage with the rooms was the window faced the hallway, a view outside would have been better. The standout of the hotel were the staff, they were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. Sunsets from the rooftop were also incredible!!

Overall very good hotel. Service and staff were excellent. They accommodated all of our requirements. Nice breakfast. The only downside was the concrete floor in the room. Not just hard and cold under foot, but also could hear the people walking on the floor above. If you want to get away from the big chain hotels and stay in a great neighborhood, we recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, modern comfortable clean rooms with great beds and nice sheets. The staff were incredibly helpful, they provided top notch food recommendations in the area and were always up for a little chat. Basic but nice breakfast!

Ideal location in the centre of Palermo and yet it was very quiet. My room was very tastefully decorated, huge bed and the best pillows ever! Spotlessly clean throughout. The staff are extremely helpful and happy to give recommendations for eating out, sightseeing etc which is very reassuring for a solo female traveller. It definitely has a boutique hotel feel, far more personal than the big chains and a lovely breakfast too. Great value for money, I would definitely return
