Loved it. Pol is small, but very Nice with sauna next to it. Great food. Play room for little and game room for bigger children. Frendly stuff

The pluses: hotel is very child friendly and I would go back when our kid is a bit older as they have activities for different ages. The surrounding is beautiful, there is a gorgeous long promenade next to the hotel, accessible to stroller and wheelchair. We walked for an hour both ways. The food is good, old school sauces and recogniseble local dishes, and a variety to choose from. We were happy with selection for a 9 month old. The people working there are extremely kind and do go out of their way to help and be of service. That is a huge plus and the biggest reason the review is very positive and why I would consider coming back. It is definitely the people, feođ the front desk, to the waiter in the bar, to the several women working in the dining room and the kitchen and some very sweet cleaning ladies. Well done Valamar for hiring good people! It's something we're missing today very often. Minuses: The room is old school and reminds us of some cheaper hotels we've been to, wearing less stars. It's the little things, you can see it is worn out and there was not a lot of investment in the last years. For example, while showering, a plastic piece of the shower fell down, or the bathroom push button sink stopper would not open after being closed (leaving a puddle of water in the sink for the night), the shower soap dispenser head is blocked so we thought there was no soap for a while until we removed the bottle from the wall. And the walls seem super thin, we could hear the family in the nex room too well. When their phone vibrated we were looking for ours in the room:-) There are definitely updates to be made

The bar and restaurant staff here are absolutely wonderful, they could not help though we were very impressed throughout our whole stay. Bloody Mary is not on the menu, no problem. Nice and spicy 10/10 and the waitress making our drinks was fantastic!!

Beautiful views, fantastic tracks for walking, cycling and wandering. Not far from Austria, Italy or Hungary. The sea was warm enough in May to swim or cool down after the sauna. An incredible selection and quality of food at the buffet. There is so much good at this place! Sauna, spa, inside pool and the pool on the terrace are a must-try, but can become crowded when it's sunny.

We had a great time in your hotel at the course for mountain biking guides with Slovenian alpine association. We will come back for sure. Best regards Grega

Hotel is really nice. Has got own beach and pools. Restaurant and food are just great. And beacuse all of this is my review 5/5.

FALSE ADVERTISING LEAD TO A DISAPOINTING STAY booked Sanfior Valamar Hotel based on sleek lobby photos that turned out to be from another property down the street. The actual lobby was outdated and uninviting, more like a throwback to 80's. Feeling deceived, we decided not to extend our stay and moved to Hotel Parentium instead, where we got a far superior accommodation for the same money. I hope the hotel rethinks its marketing strategy. Misleading advertising isn't just unethical; it ruins guest experiences. I won’t be returning.
