I genuinely enjoyed my stay, which is true. Based on some of the reviews here, I was honestly expecting a worse experience. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised, although I would like to mention a few observations. Cleanliness Room cleaning was carried out regularly, but it wasn’t completely perfect. Carpets were not vacuumed thoroughly – crumbs left on the floor tended to remain there the next day. That said, housekeeping was present and functioning. Room Comfort Sleeping comfort, the bathroom, and air conditioning were absolutely fine. There were also wardrobes available, so from a comfort perspective we really had nothing to complain about. Food & Dining The food was excellent overall. My only remark is that meat is added to almost all mixed salads. Since the salads were otherwise very tasty, this can be frustrating for vegetarians. I would recommend offering mixed salads without meat as well. During most of our stay, an Asian chef was cooking, and both breakfast and dinner were excellent. However, on the last day of our stay (January 4, 2026), the breakfast was noticeably different and not good. The eggs were unpleasant, the salads tasted off, as if everything had been prepared on an old pan. This was the only day it happened, and we suspected it might have been due to a different chef. That could also explain some of the older negative food reviews. I believe hotel management should look into this inconsistency. On a very positive note, the pizza served during dinners was absolutely fantastic and something we really enjoyed. Facilities & Surroundings The area around the hotel is pleasant, with a nice promenade. We were expecting some children’s animation programs, but I only noticed one on the day of arrival in the lobby, which was quite loud and awkwardly placed near the reception. We didn’t see any other activities afterward. It was a surprise, but not something that bothered us significantly. The pool is small and often crowded, but that was more or less what we expected, so it wasn’t a disappointment. A nice touch was that after New Year’s Eve, the hotel even offered a small refreshment, which we appreciated. Parking & Electric Charging We had no issues with parking, most likely because it was off-season. There was also the possibility to charge an electric car. However, some EV owners seemed to block the charging spots. I would recommend that the hotel marks two perpendicular parking spaces at the chargers, as it is strange to have only one parking spot marked when there are two chargers available. Overall Impression For the price we paid, this was a great experience. As I mentioned, a bit of luck may have played a role, but I left with the feeling that I would happily return. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially considering the value for money.

Overall a lovely hotel, staff are friendly. Food and service is greet. Swimming pools great and even a little gym. Maro World is good, staff very friendly. A bit small but nice. Room was good, sadly kept on running out of hot water after 9pm. Cleaners were amazing too. If you travel you may need a car to visit places, taxis are ridiculously expensive to be honest. There is a racket at the airport where some taxi drivers use uber and then cancel it to charge you more. Transfers are probably prudent. Public transport exists but infrequent. We did a tour with Valamar, it was very good, probably pricey for what it was, but tour guide and driver were amazing and lovely. Overall another great Valamar hotel.

Good day, just recovering from the overwhelming holiday at the Valamar Sanfior. What an experience, beyond expectations. Nicely received with free parking. Clean room 2+2, the cleaning does her best. Lovely pools with beautiful views of the sea. Super the Spa and wellness. Nice reception at dinner and then....... Enjoy, open kitchen with Selma and her team, prepare your meal on site with a cheerful smile and a chat Fresh fruit and ICE CREAM. Have breakfast just baked egg with chocolate croissants and strawberry. Now quickly see if there is still a bed available by the sea!!!! See you next year. Greetings the mystery guest mister KUKELEKU. 😎

My wife, our 8-month-old, and I spent three nights in a superior sea-view room. We picked this hotel after being told over the phone that it had an indoor kids’ pool with warm water—exactly what we wanted for our little one’s first splashy holiday. What we loved: The staff are genuinely lovely - always smiling, quick to help, and nothing feels like a hassle. Our room was spacious, spotless, and the free parking right out front was a lifesaver. Location is a dream: first row to the sea, pine trees below, and gorgeous coastal walks. There’s a cute play corner and daily kids’ animation. Food is standard buffet fare, but the pizzas (served every dinner) are a standout - crisp, tasty, and a hit with the little ones. Desserts rotate daily and are surprisingly creative and delicious. Drinks from the machine are basic but fine. The small annoyances: The “sea-view” balconies are half-ruined by ugly plastic panels. Only one of the two chairs actually faces the water; the other stares at cheap screening. Such a waste of a stunning view. The wellness area is okay - the jacuzzi and ambiance are nice - but the Finnish sauna fits maybe four people, the Turkish one isn’t much bigger, and there are never enough hooks for towels. The big disappointment: The pool. There’s only one, and it’s small. We were promised warm water for babies. Day 1: 29 °C (already cool for an infant). Day 2: noticeably colder. Day 3: our daughter’s lips were blue. We politely asked reception to turn up the heat; they measured, promised action, then did nothing. Watching her shiver instead of giggle in the water put a real dampener on the trip. Saving a few euros on heating shouldn’t come at the cost of tiny guests’ comfort. Overall, great staff and location, but the misleading pool info and cold water left us disappointed. We won’t be back with a baby. 4 stars (would be 3 without the amazing team).

We keep coming back to this hotel during winter periods. Position is great, near the sea and perfect for long walks, bike etc. Big and good variety of food for breakfast and dinner. Rooms are decent, but I believe it is time for upgrade, especially of carper floor.

While the hotel advertises as four stars do not expect a four star experience it is a basic experience. If you are not traveling with children I do not recommend this hotel. There are children running, climbing, and yelling all around the hotel(not at beach). Expect loud music outside your room past 1030. Service: They do not offer secured luggage storage. Food: The half board offering is a crowded, unhygienic buffet. While there is variety the quality is poor. The counters are dirty and they are allowing children to serve themselves(ie running into you with their plates), even with one climbing onto the buffet counter to do so. Location: Nice access to the beach. This is the only draw for the hotel in my opinion. Note the hotel does not include beach chairs or umbrellas.

The staff were very helpful and kind. The facilities of the hotel are good, and the location also. Food is excellent at the Mediterranean restaurant, there is a wide range of choice and the panorama is amazing from the terrace. The whole property is clean. I could mention only one thing that makes us a little bit dissatisfied. We booked a room at the seaside, but there were no seaside view, our balcony looked to the yard. Based on the pictures at the hotel’s website at the booking I was sure that we get a nice room with a seaview. It is really misleading, we were disappointed about it. Out of this, we had a great stay with nice memories, recommended for a family stay.

Great location, just in front of the beach and pubs. Room was very large and clean. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful..but the best was the food. Literaly each dinner had a new set of main dishes. All of them were superb. View on the see was great.Hotel also has 2 outdoor swimming pools and 1 inside in case of bad weather... for sure we want to go back here.
