Can’t believe how dire this airport is. The only positive is that it’s small and not relatively busy and so you breeze through check-in, passport and security with ease. The negative is that they have very little places to eat or drink and what they do have is a very poor offering with items selling out by 7pm. WI-FI also would not connect.

Was unfortunate to have a delayed flight on a Saturday. No public transport to the train station neither bus nor aerolink shuttle after 11.10pm. Seems crazy for a European company, over a 100 passengers forced to take taxi, no uber, no intaxi nor freenow taxi apps service available. One long queue of 100 passengers , taxis turning up one every 10 minutes approx. Better service in the Australian outback. Tried renting a car but all closed too 😞

The airport is not too big and the bus is very convenient to get to many attractions.

New A Gates Pros: departures lounge partly open and a good selection in the “duty free” shop. Cons: One tiny cafe, no WiFi, nowhere to charge your devices, and all windows are frosted so you can’t see outside or watch the planes coming and going. B Gates The original much older wing with more eating options and lots of charging points.

If more than one flight arrives here at the same time expect a long wait. There are 2 E gates servicing all arriving as non EU although the signage is poor so lots of EU passport holders also use this line making your arrival incredibly painful. On departure, there are no charge points in the main terminal but a stroll along to the nice shed like building they are currently using for Ryan air flights to depart gives some charge point towers. Otherwise, airport is fine with duty free and food/drink options. Security departing was very quick with liquids left in bag.

Small and not busy. They are renovating the airport but in doing that you are stocked without services. For example once you go through the security controls there are a ton of seats with plugs but none are working and there is no other electric plugs available

Google
A small airport, which can get seriously overcrowded. Once you pass customs for non-EU destinations, they only have some vending machines, so get your food before you do customs. Give yourself time to go through security and customs, both are slow. There is a little bit of shopping. From and to city center you take the 199 bus to central bus station, and then 21,24,61, depending on where you are going, cost will be 9 euros per person, so if you have three people, just take a taxi and also save time.

5.4/10; 2.7/5. Not many stores & eateries outside security but a few inside security on departure. Security is quick. Helpful staff. Immigration in & out is quick, but the officer on the exit immigration is fed up & exhausted with his job but he was polite which mattered & seemed like he needed a time out fr. Not many areas to charge your devices. Clean. Not much really. Airport is still undergoing heavy renovation, so some parts is like a tent/marquee

Yelp
Pretty nice and standard small airport . Does have quite a few places to grab coffee and Pastries and a restaurant also . Though small the location does also have a duty free area to purchase items . My flight was delayed of no fault of the airport but there were a few charging ports to use while I waited . Seating is limited if a super busy day but wasn't too much of an issue . Would recommend if in verona or flying in

Yelp
I only flew into this airport so that experience is not the same as flying out. Small airport so mostly smaller airplanes landing here. My connection flight was from Rome. That being said, short lines, quick and easy luggage grab after the flight and easy to grab a ride and make your way to wherever you are going. Good experience.

Yelp
This airport is actually one that will surprise you - mainly due to the fact that even though it's small, it's perfectly formed! Ok so Terminal 1 (arrivals) is pretty basic - but Terminal 2 (departures) is actually pretty modern with loads of food and drink options, fairly decent shopping and a modern and efficient security and passport control. There's 2 bars I should give special mention to - they both sell gourmet food and drink products and wine a plenty, plus a fantastic range of local craft beer! Ok so I was rubbish and went to the pretty bog standard onsite bar to get a cheap Aperol Spritz (3.50 Euros) but the sandwiches were also pretty good - the Nero for the win! A great airport experience if that isn't an oxymoron.

Yelp
Small airport in Verona, but convenient for a 1 hour direct flight from Zurich. I accidentally left my purse hanging in the restroom stall upon arrival and only noticed that it was missing after I walked out of the luggage area. I ran back in to retrieve it, only to be told to go to the Lost & Found. Thankfully it was just down the hall, and the woman there escorted me back in to pick it up within minutes. Phew. The bus from the airport to Verona city center only cost 6 euros and was comfortable and air-conditioned. Plenty of space under the bus to store your luggage, so it wasn't cramped with you in the seat. Unfortunately, our flight out was delayed by 1 hour, but there was ample space to sit and wait. Wi-Fi cost EUR 1 per hour, but I opted to watch the tv monitors in the waiting area instead. Couldn't hear the sound (I don't understand Italian anyway), but they showed pretty interesting advertisements and videos of delicious food in Italy. :)

Yelp
Small airport with minimal shops and cafes. Many budget airlines fly here from within Europe. When we arrived the security process to clear through customs took forever and ever. The line was so slow it was painful. Luckily by the time we got through with that, our bags had come through on the belt and we're ready to be picked up. From here you can take a bus or taxi into the city. I didn't spend more time here than necessary so I can't comment much more beyond this, but okay overall
