The rooms are bit older, which is not very strange. That’s simply because all three buildings of the property are a little ‘vintage’. That does give all it a very nice touch though. Beds are good though, no worries. The garden is an excellent place to chill, provided you have the weather to go with it, otherwise you can spend some time in the nicely decorated common room.
The location is perfect. Of course we had to drive around the Trollstigen, which is closed until further notice, but that really only takes 1/2h extra. We still went to see it from the other side and the trip is certainly worth it!
We also had dinner here. Not a very extensive menu, but a good meal at a reasonable price - you should not expect to get anything cheap in Norway… ;)
Oh, btw - parking is free, definitely worth mentioning in this country.
