A perfect ending to our amazing trip to Gran Canaria was our lunch at this fabulous restaurant (Valle De Mogán) before our departure back to London.
The surrounding mountainous scenery/ backdrop & the serene atmosphere / the tranquil ambience were absolutely amazing.
The food was exceptional - completely blew my mind, with every dish bursting with flavour followed by their creative presentation.
Our Lunch:
- Galician oyster, lime, coriander, passion fruit spherifications and tuber aestivum foam
- 100% Acorn Fed Iberian Ham
- 65° free range chicken eggs, salicornia, scrambled potato and Iberian tocino, tuber melanosporum oil and Pajonales cheese cream
- Classic clawed Lobster Thermidor style with cream, brandy and Portobello mushrooms
- Black pork belly marinated in double cooking method, lacquered in honey palm and somag sphere, served on scrambled potatoes with chorizo from Teror and Iberian pork fat, smoked with vine shoots.
In my opinion, the food & presentation is definitely a Michelin star-worthy standard.
We appreciated the above & beyond service & for making our lunch at Valle De Mogan a memorable experience.
Our massive thanks!
We highly recommend Valle De Mogan & we both can’t wait to return soon.
