Valletta Suites

We spent 4 nights here and I recommend it highly. The owners, Stephen and Brian, have created a lovely apartment in walking distance to Valletta itself, the main bus terminal and the ferry lines. The bed was very comfortable, the coffee excellent, etc. we combined our stay here with four other nights across the bay in Sliema, and this was perfect for us. While the two places were really very close, we got a different experience from each. By the way, old guide books may suggest Valletta closes down early. No longer true. It was vibrant with many restaurants to choose from.

Lucia Nova is gorgeous! It has all amenities and is in a superb location with a view of the sea, a bakery/convenience store just across the street, and a few blocks from Republic Street. Brian and Stephen are great! They greeted me when I arrived at the apartment; showed me around; gave me a map with locations of interest, restaurants, phone numbers; and arranged a taxi for my departure. They checked in with me during my stay to see if I needed anything and they even celebrated my birthday with me! A wonderful stay, highly recommended.

Valletta Suites Lucia Nova is a fantastic apartment with great character spread over 3 floors leading to a wonderful roof terrace. The location is amazing, very quiet despite being so central with a super Pasticceria called Clydes, just opposite.|Brian and Stephen are so friendly and helpful, answering all our questions promptly and they even gave us a lift to the bus terminus when we were finding it difficult to get a taxi.|We did not want to leave!

we had a fantastic stay in Nova Lucia which is very well located in the heart of Valletta.||Brian and Stephen were excellent hosts and the accommodation was superbly presented.||The roof terrace was lovely and it was great to live as a local for a wonderful week!! I made a waving friend over the road in the old lady who used to drop her basket down to street level for provisions, only to draw it up again on a rope when the shopping was done! Would highly recommend this accommodation.

Brian and Stephen are fantastic! They met me at Lucia Nova when I arrived; showed me the gorgeous apartment; provided a map with places of interest, restaurants, phone numbers, etc. They checked in with me during my stay to see if I needed anything. My stay at Valletta Suites set a standard for accommodation. Every detail is carefully thought out and the decor is an amazing display of modern mixing effortlessly with the traditional. The location was ideal....a quiet backstreet, 2 minutes from the action on Republic Street. The hosts are very welcoming, professional and gracious. I highly recommend Valletta Suites!

In the heart of old Valletta lies Maison La Vallette which is one of the three properties owned by Brian and Stephen of Valletta suites. M.L.V. was immaculate and decorated with a European swankiness found in movies and magazines. The property has a bedroom, kitchen area, living room and bathroom which makes space not an issue at all. Privacy and security are also assets to this charming first floor apartment which is near everything in Valletta. ||The owners helped us immensely on our honeymoon when we were in a tough situation regarding another booking. They even came and picked us up personally and brought us to M.L.V. after hours. To these fine gentleman we owe a debt of gratitude for their great customer service and kindness.||You will not go wrong booking any property at Valletta suites because the owners care about what they do!||Thank you and bravo!||||Ray and Robin

Rooms are fine but unfortunately the noisiest bar in Valetta is located downstairs. Most of the noise stops at 11pm but the whole building vibrates most afternoons and evenings. Otherwise the accommodation would be fine. Nicely located close to the centre of Valetta and the owners are very helpful.
